The new Sherlock Holmes: 8/10

Watched all of the Harry Potter movies this week, never seen them or read books. Right when they all started to come out and be popular, I was at age where it was uncool to be into it all. Never really was that interested, even when I decided to watch them this week. Overall it's a decent series. Nothing super amazing for me. Don't see myself ever watching any of them again. Like I just finished the finale, after investing maybe 18 hours into watching them all. And don't really care or feel like it was epic. Where if I watch The Fucking Shield, even the finale gives me such a rush for being a great story. 6.5/10

Green Lantern - 71

Movies 3-5 either had a 1/3 of the plot or had the plot linage all fucked up.

Read the books.

Naw thanks, got the jist of what it's all about. Didn't love what I did see, just thought it was alright. Cheers though.

The Patrick Stewart version of A Christmas Carol - 7/10

aka Possessed. This was my christmas gift from dad btw.. Original dvd. Korea's own version of The Omen/Exorcist style... Not only that in the movie, the main chick is some kind of healer Christ like figure as well as half-demon. Fucking weird creepy shit I've seen. The korean religious nutjob of a mom can be just as scary as the possessed daughter. It was a good scare flick.

8/10.

Not really... :P Only I... My mom dad watches more mainstream Hollywood stuff.. Bridesmaids, Horrible Bosses, Oscar movies stuff. :p

That's one way of looking at it I suppose

Wrote this off as a quick cash in on MMA being the 'in' thing...boy was I wrong. Fucking powerful movie.

I really enjoyed this.. At first, it felt like Vertical Limit. But then the plot shifts to a kidnapped Serbian girl who doesn't speak English yet she's for ransom..



Still, it was quite intense with the sniper shootout while running away with the kidnapped girl.

7/10.

Diamonds Are Forever 7/10

Was real glad to have Connery back. Though real sad because I know it was his last (official) one.

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Remake)-8.5/10. Perhaps too slow paced at times, but a hell of a movie with some fantastic performances.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol-6/10. I was entertained, but only because the movie was so goddamned ridiculous. Points mostly for Jeremy Renner and the whole sequence on the side of the Burj Khalifa.

Live and Let Die

Mr. Roger Moore not off to a good start, as this is the first Bond movie in the series that I have considered bad. The excessively long boat chase scene with the hick yokel sheriff was pretty brutal.

Darkest Hour - 2/10

First off, the movie lasted much longer than an hour. They don't really explain anything as to why all the stuff is happening. Combine that with cheesy dialogue and you have the worst movies I've seen this year.

A Good Old Fashion Orgy - 7/10

Feels like I've seen about 20 Jason Sudeikis films this year

Milk - 10/10

The Expendables - 5/10

No real substance to it, but fun for the explosions and having so many bad asses in one movie.

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark: 3/10. Huge disappointment.

The Adventures of Tin Tin - 10/10

I am all praises for this one. Spielberg has done an amazing job and it's a must see for all Tin Tin comic fans. I am not a fan of 3D, but it did add a lot of "depth" to this movie.


Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol - 7/10

My first Mission Impossible movie ever. I watched it in an iMAX theatre and I was blown away. Around 30 minutes of the movie were shot for iMAX. I don't like Tom Cruise but the stunt he pulled off on the outside of Burj Khalifa was applaudable. Overall, the movie was fun to watch.

I am a huge Robert Downey Jr. fan and just like the first one, this movie was delightful too. The visuals of this movie in certain scenes were breathtaking, a step above the first film.

Hobo With a Shotgun - 9.5/10

This really drew me in and I loved every minute of it.

Great action sequences. Love the little plot twists. Would of loved a little bit more background on some characters but still a great movie.
