Right, playing it on 360. No expansion for the series yet, as they have not released it for the XBone :P

Heisenberg 04-30-2014 10:08 AM

I'm getting it on Xbox One as well. It'll be worth it to play with my children

drave 04-30-2014 01:25 PM

When it does happen, if you feel like laying the smackdown on some roodie poo candy demons' asses, let me know, I'll send you my gamertag.

Dropkicks are also encouraged.

Fignuts 05-01-2014 07:10 AM

Drave, Battlefield 4 isn't broken anymore from what I can tell. People complain about "rubberbanding" but I've only experienced it once since I bought it a month ago. Even then, it only lasted a couple seconds and didn't happen again the rest of the match. Keeping in mind my internet is garbage.

Having a blast with it atm. DLC maps are all pretty great, so I'd recommend Premium as well.

Bought thief and only made it a couple hours in, before deciding to trade it in. Usually don't do that before finishing a game, but it's just mind numbingly boring.

Downloading Trials Fusion right now. Might try BroForce on PC, as it looks hype as fuck.

drave 05-01-2014 07:50 AM

Nice! Really want to get a new Xbone game and enjoyed the hell outta BF3. Rubberbanding is something that happens in nearly all online games, so not too worried. Recently up'd my internet speed too and definitely noticed the improvement. Thanks for the tip (and just the tip) Fig!

Also heard that Thief was shit. Went to a friends house and played on PC - it is shit. Sad too, because I loved the original series. Think they tried to make things too complicated (looking at you controls) this go around.

DAMN iNATOR 05-07-2014 02:26 AM

Just got through playing The Wolf Aming Us, Episode 3: A Crooked Mile. The action and drama definitely both got ramped way up from Episode 2, and the conclusion left me wishing that Episode 4: In Sheep's Clothing was already out.

Choices:
SPOILER: show
● Interrupted Snow's eulogy.
● Chose to investigate Crane's apt. first.
● Didn't offer Flycatcher a job.
● Burned Auntie Greenleaf's tree.
● Killed Tweedle Dum.

Just starting child of light on x1

Games beaten in 2014:
New Super Mario Bros Wii
Grand Theft Auto V
LoZ: A Link to the Past
Halo Anniversary
Devil May Cry
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

Split between which I liked more, Brotherhood or AC II. Might pick up Revelations later in the year just to finish the Ezio saga.

drave 05-07-2014 07:33 AM

IMO you are better off youtubing the story for Revelations. I have played all of the AC games and Revelations was pretty horrible. The guy at the game store warned me, but most of them are snobs anyway so I ignored it. Took it back in 2 days, didn't even care that I didn't complete it. Watched the cut scenes back to back on youtube.

DaveBrawl 05-07-2014 10:10 AM

I was the other way around I hated 2 and especially Brotherhood, but enjoyed Revelations the most of all of the Ezio games. 1 was still may favorite though, with 3 behind that.

I still don't really know why I couldn't get into this one, guess the story was just 'meh' and I couldn't get into it like the others.

In a bit of a lull as of late for my gaming. Went and did Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt on Borderlands 2.

Getting some sweet offers when I re-up my subscription to Old Republic. Might get back into that and take advantage of it.

Outlast: Whistleblower. Beat this on Hard and Nightmare Mode. Holy fuck.

There's one antagonist who talks like Bioshock's Andrew Ryan similar in tone.

Lots of gory-ass moments including penis mutilation and breast surgery.. Better than the main game.

I almost had bad dreams of this scene!!

Raven Reaper 05-12-2014 06:35 AM

^ Yeah well, I had a good time screaming my ass off when it comes to boo moments from the monster bosses of the game.. Fuuuuck.. I'm a bit scarred with the mutilation chainsaw scene!!!

Finished Walking Dead episode 3 today. Also been playing a bit of GTA Online/V. Trying that walk in the desert for 5 miles. Set up a controller to walk automatically but it screwed up 3 miles in.

Disturbed316 05-19-2014 04:42 AM

Going through some of the backlog before Mario Kart 8 arrives. Took around 30-40 minutes each to beat both games.

Dusted off Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

Not a great plot, but it's fun regardless. Even if there's some stupid shit the developers did in this game.

Enjoying the callbacks to previous Castlevania games. Most of them from SOTN.

Played through Ep. 4: In Sheep's Clothing last night, and it seems like they have a defìnitive conclusion set to go for Ep. 5: Cry Wolf. I honestly think I'd do just fine if they wrapped everything up in Ep. 5 and just left it at that. I don't think it has the same level of creativity and immersiveness that TWD has that would warrant a S2.

LoDownM 05-30-2014 12:50 AM

Recently beat Dynasty Warriors 8, Watch Dogs, and Wolfenstein The New Order. Watch Dogs would've been so much better if the driving in it didn't suck ass. Enjoyed the hell outta Wolfenstein.

Still working through Borderlands 2, trying to get all characters through the main storyline and all the DLC & Headhunter Pack storylines.

Just got Axton through main story on Normal Mode, am trying to figure out why every time my Maya dies in Fight For Your Life in The Talon of God while trying to take down Handsome Jack's health bar and I've depleted his shields, his repair surveyor doesn't show up upon respawning @ a New-U station, blocking my further progression to The Warrior so I can kill the fucking thing and unlock U.V.H.M. with her.

Anyway, main highlights during my time last night included finally encountering Jimmy Jenkins and killing him :D, and with a little help from a YouTube vid, unlocking the What does it mean secret achievement, bringing my achievement total in-game to 65/69.

Nice!

I enjoyed the "Brazil NOW" app they put on the home page last night. I was able to play/watch/whatever and get real time updates on the USA v Ghana match.

I think the fanboy hate that is online has deterred some. I've not had a single issue with anything as of this point. Even my Kinect works without issue and TBH, Kinect Sports Rivals is actually fun.

If only SWTOR and Star Trek Online could combine they'd make a pretty good game.

The space combat is great in STO but the away missions are generic.

I found the space combat to be akin to wading through soup; annoyed the hell out of me.
