The Division
Only played a couple of hours so far, but loving it so far. |
Fedorova's dead in my playthrough of Deus Ex: H.R., and I've since cleared Detroit, pt. II with the riot taking place there, although apparently I missed an opportunity at a side-quest by not reading an e-mail on Jensen's computer after meeting with Pritchard in Jensen's office in Detroit, pt. I.
I was also pissed to find that after having essentially completed a side-quest in Hengsha, pt. II ("Corporate Warfare") and then getting discovered and killed by guards on my way back to Mengyao, the item I was to take her was no longer in my quest inventory and the fucking side-quest failed on me after reloading. What an assload of fucking bullshit. |
Relax. You have time to fix all those mistakes.
|
No, unfortunately not in this playthrough. I'll have to play a new game just to complete those for the trophies. Plus, I'm not at all certain I will be obtaining the "Foxiest of the Hounds" trophy for not setting off a single alarm. I feel confident that I'll nab the no-kills one, though.
On Singapore level now, And, as an aside, after quitting last night and starting up the game again this afternoon, I thought maybe "Corporate Warfare" would be on my quest list, but alas, nope. :( |
Exactly - what else do you have to do ;)
|
lol
|
Hey, I'm not sweating it. I've been pretty much breezing through the game aside from those couple of mistakes...it's amazing how easily all the bosses have gone down with only 1-2 rockets, a TES (Typhoon Explosive System) lv. 2 blasts and/or gas grenades...just passed Namir, and am now working through Panchća.

EA Access giving 10 hours of playtime for UFC2 for free :D
Going to knock bitches out this weekend. |
Quote:
Knockouts look better though, but it does feel like they've shitted it out so they can have microtransactions in Ultimate Team. |
I was never a fan of the submission system, though I cannot really think of a better system? I remember it primarily depending on your stamina and submission stats, which on paper is fine. But it feels like there should be a better way to execute the submission mini-game.
I remember the K1 Kickboxing game on PS2 had a limb damage system, but you don't really have submissions on that game. There are indicators for "status" for every part of the body, but do they actually impact submissions? For example, if your opponents mid-section goes red, they cannot block head shots. Head goes red, they stagger and can easily be KO'd, etc. I would like to see if something like repeated leg kicks would impact a leg submission, etc. I only clocked a few hours on the beta, and didn't really give submissions a look b/c of the stupid system. Not sure how I feel about UT yet. Feels nearly identical to Madden UT, which is okay I guess..... but could be much better. |
What co-op games do you have on One Hasney?
Really need to play with some TPWW folks. I have 4-5 tpww people on my list but never get to play with anyone either b/c different games or time or gametime :P |
@drave: You don't happen to play GTAO on PS3 by any chance, do you?
|
I do not have a PS3, no.
|
Damn. Oh, well. Looking for anyone here who's in the "Crew" who might be willing and able to help me advance past the "The Prison Break" Heist finale with payouts set evenly @ 25% each for the trophy you get for completing a heist with that as payout.
On the Deus Ex: H.R. front, beaten the game the first time, although even though I did quite a bit, I still missed quite a few trophies including some secret/hidden ones. Got through "Cloak & Daggers" Detroit, pt. I side-quest and remembered to take O'Malley's bribe and tell Jenny Alexander the lie that he wasn't there for the "The Take" hidden trophy. Still need to pick up:
|
With the new PC up and running I'm happy to be able to play awesome stuff again.
Revisiting Fallout 4, will probably play a bit of that. Have to look through my Steam library to see what would be interesting to pick up for a bit... Still playing through Twilight Princess HD and Rayman Legends on Wii U as well, with Pokemon Y getting some solid play time this week |
Broforce lmfao
|
It's Contra on crack cocaine and steroids.
|
I just finished another playthrough of Earthbound. I found it a lot easier this time, done in just over 20 hours. I think it'll be a March tradition
|
that sounds like the best tradition
|
Borderlands 1 and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.
|
Got used copy of GT6 yesterday...taking fucking FOREVER to install.
|
Far Cry: Primal is done. Alright story but it's rather short. The end scene bothered me a bit.
SPOILER: show Will be going back to The Division. Start the long quest of getting all yellow gear. |
OK, what in thec actual FUCK?! Playing through GTA V story mode and ever since completing "Mr. Philips", the Civil Border Patrol "Strangers and Freaks" orange "?" has not popped up in Sandy Shores for me to complete as Trevor.
I'm on PS3, so if anybody knows if this is a known bug/glitch, let me know. Dunno WTF is going on, but I'm PISSED...won't be able to 100% the game with my current save file...SMH... #FML |
Went back to Destiny. Tying up a few quests and grabbing items before Rise of Iron. No way am I getting all the year 2 moments of triumph.
Got The Wolf Among Us for free when I pre-ordered the Batman Telltale game. I like it so far. |
Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion. Best game of this gen

I re-started Witcher 3 on PC since I've upgraded and glad I did. The graphics are a leap ahead and running it at 100fps is wonderful.
Just finishing up Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE right now, it's the most Japanese-ass JRPG I've ever played, but it's really good. One of the best cross-overs ever as it's an original Shin Megami Tensei cast and game with Fire Emblem elements and characters, but there's a good reason for eveything happening the way it does instead of just being Fintstones x Jetsons where they just go "WOW LOOK AT THIS CRAZY WORLD LOL WE'RE SO DIFFERENT". Battle system is fun, if you hit a weakness it can lead to a "session" with the rest of your party where if they have a link skill, they can jump in and attack too. Side quest content is really great too. Get to know other party members and even unlock duo act songs that can happen during battle sessions and act almost like a summon. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/A0p7DI2V-IU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> It's the best JRPG I've played in a while and a perfect thing to play before FFXV and then Persona 5. |

Been doing some CoD: MW3 multiplayer on PS3. Pretty freaking terrible at it, but have played enough "Domination" mode to reach level 50 ("Captain II") so far...don't really care about hitting General of the Army (lv. 80, 5-star general) anytime soon, jusy having a good time.

Playing Recore ATM. Very good game so far. Pretty basic but I love the platform puzzles being utilized properly in a 3D game.
|
FFXV
|
Hopefully will finished Dishonored 2 tonight. Then jump into Final Fantasy 15.
Hop back into Destiny when the event comes around. Loved Sparrow Racing League when it came around the first time. Hope its better this year. |
FFXV

Mighty No. 9 and Skyrim. Might No. 9 was a daily deal for the XBOX sale this week so I picked it up. It's exactly like Megaman but real easy. Almost Mega Man 2 easy. Still real fun. Hoping Ori is put as a daily deal too.
|
I got GTA V for the PC; doing the obligatory "having sex with whore and then murdering her." I'm not a sociopath....
|
Been going hard on Warcraft: Legion. Loving the shit out of it. First time I have played in YEARS. Have a 110 rogue and Demon Hunter. Working on my Warrior tank now. He is nearly 105 and already a badass.
|
Playing Fallout 4 for about a month or so now .... have not even started the main quest as I keep getting distracted by side quests.
|
Platinumed Final Fantasy 15 last night. Might do a dungeon here and there until new content comes out.
Thinking about going back to Mafia 3 or Dishonored 2 and get the platinum for those until the new Yakuza game comes out. |
Watch dogs 2 and maybe a game out of my backlog while I wait for tales of berseria and horizon zero dawn
|
Beat Mighty No 9. Was a fun MegaMan game. Skyrim has me hooked now. Getting close to finishing the major quest lines and then onto Fallout 4.
|
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Director's Cut)
|
2nd playthrough of Mafia 3 completed & platinumed.
Back to Dishonored 2 for my Emily playthrough and missing trophies. |
Hooked on Over watch now. Getting pretty good at the game but I never want to stop playing.

Hitman
The Walking Dead: The Final Frontier |
does playing Michonne effect the game in anyway?
|
Played a bit of 7 Days to Die for a week or two with some friends. Real fun game, hoping it gets fleshed out a bit more in the coming months. Playing a melee build is fun but kinda suboptimal when you're in a fortified fort. Got boring. I cooked the shit outta some stews though.
Been dabbling in the latest Diablo 3 season as well |
How's the anniversary event rdd? Been thinking about booting up Diablo and running through that bit for nostalgia.
|
It's good for what it is, a little romp down memory lane. I think it would've been better if they cut the length down to maybe 75% of what it is, it does tend to drag a little bit but overall was fun
|
I'm playing the waiting game for Switch.
Also more Rocket League and Overwtch. |
Playing through Mass Effect again, nearly done with 2. Also playing WoW. Did some raiding last night and it was amazing! Game is fun.
|
Playing back and fourth with Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy 7 on ps1; followed by Dragon Ball Xenoverse and WWE 2K17 Xbox One
|
Just got Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX the other day which includes the original KH game (called Kingdom Hearts HD Final Mix, the previously Nintendo DS(?) exclusive Re:Chain of Memories, and 358/2 Days, except only cutscenes, diary entries and special reports. Speed ran through last one for 6 easy trophies and 100% with shitty gold trophy as the "YAY! You got all the other trophies" reward...still bewildered how they could make it a non-platinum whereas the other two both have platinums for 100%.
Anyway, started on Re:CoM last night and have so far passed level 1F on beginner mode. Will tackle Proud Mode after beating Sora's story on beginner mode. Enjoying it pretty well too. As an aside, I hope to add Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX very soon. |

I'd give it a solid 8.5. I'm a huge jrpg nerd tho. I would actually rate this 9 easily but it's standard tales gameplay overall. You run around freely in battle with a lock on any given enemy and jam the face buttons to spew out different combinations of rates you have set up. However there is one wrinkle to it in a sort of power up thing your main character can do. It doesn't power you up very much damage wise, but it can be used to extend the life of combos for ages and get your chain dmg multiplier up. You can use it multiple times stacked too like goku uses kaio Ken in dbz. At the end of it, which is either when you run out of this games variation of an action point, you'll hit a big finisher. Best time to trigger most mystic rates is at that point, and you can chain all of those together now if you meet the requirements for each character at the time. The power up has a trade off tho. When engaged, your health will start draining slowly. Add a stack and it speeds up a little. You can do massive damage after a few stacks but your health will drain so fast you won't believe it. You can not die in this state but your health will often be left at 1 when you drop out of it. Risk vs reward type thing amd I think it makes the battle system the best in series. The story is surprisingly good. Like....really good. The game has your kinda upbeat tales feeling to it with the world and setting....but you aren't good. The main character has reasons I won't get into for what she is doing....but she's bad. Nay evil. How do I say this? You're the goddamn devil and it's awesome. She isn't a bad person and her reasons are sound but her reasoning is ice cold.and her methods brutal. One of the best mains in a long time. Other characters are also varying degrees of bad and strange but all in good ways the compliment the games story. One character is a typical good guy but I can excuse that. It adds conflict to the group. The story itself is also a nice twist...since you're the damn devil obviously you're going to kill jesus I mean the shepherd. The first shepherd to chronilogically. Very different from most jrpgs and turns out well. Ties in with xillia and zestiria heavily. Also has a really really good twist that will take what you are expecting, rip it away and then shove the shocking truth up your ass hole. And it does it twice. The dull part is that it is a bunch of interconnected towns and zones. It's a faux open world. Lots of corridors. That's kinda getting old now. Tales needs a world.map.style like Vesperia if they are staying old school or do a better open world. It holds it down. Sorry for long review. Really like this game. Just best story and doing post game now. The ex dungeon has some weird twists that make it unlike anything I've done before in this type of game. Pretty cool stuffz. |

Quantum break , really interesting idea , had no idea it would turn into a full on tv show at points which at first confused me but a solid game .

I finally got around to playing Borderlands, XBox 360 style again the other day...did PT1 with lv. 50 something Lilith (Siren), taking down the Claptrap's Robolution DLC until I got to MINAC, which I farmed for the collectibles achievements I hadn't done, which were Lubricator (25 oil cans), What A Party! (3 panties, 5 fish, 15 pizzas) and Bobble-Trap (15 Claptrap bobblehead statues). That left 3 achievements. I hop on today to see a message from XBL saying they're giving free XBL for all from the 16th through tomorrow, so I pop in BL, first person to try to play in a session of mine and I got And They'll Tell Two Friends (viral achievement that means you either played with a Gearbox staffer or someone who had the achievement themselves). Next, I join a guy and ask if he will help kill Crawmerax, 10-15 minutes or so later, BOOM! -- Vincible achievement. Then I just had to do "Lost Lewts" and "Circle of Duty: Medal of Duty" in Secret Armory. Luckily for me I had a Pestilent Defiler (like the best corrosive pistol or revolver or whichever in the game), because you have to destroy two Crimson Lancer APC's along with all the other enemies, and non-elemerntal damage is very slow, but with the defiler, hitting a vehicle or enemy with it multiple times causes a DoT...anyway, finally beat those sidequests, and as is appropriate my last achievement to unlock in BL1 was Completionist.
To say I'm elated right now is an understatement. UPDATE: Was also able to get "Friendship Rules" on BL2 so it's also now 100% on achievements. |
Mainly Hitman at the moment.
|
Last guardian really great :y: :y:
now trying "I Am Setsuna" |
how is that
almost bought it on steam sale might get it on switch idk |
Setsuna is a great through back in the same feel as chrono trigger (in gameplay) but has some glaring flaws when late game the is an artificial difficulty spike that requires are fair ammount of farming that really kills an otherwise great game.
|
Somebody gifted me KOTOR 1 and 2. It's been awhile since I played them.
|
Did not think KOTOR 2 was that great.
|
Quote:
I get that it's a "retro RPG" but I didn't expect a rushed storyline and poorly written dialogue to be a part of it Battles are kinda like chrono trigger yeah but with a little added confusion |
Streets of Rage 3-7 outta 10
Been tryign for the past few days to beat it and get the best ending. But it is so damn hard to do that. Still one of the best beat'em ups/belt scrollers of the 16 bit era.Too bad Sega seems to have forgotten about this franchise. |
Horizon Zero Dawn. 4.5/5

Meanwhile, I'm giving my WiiU a victory lap. Been playing some Yoshi's Woolly World (100%ing some levels etc), Super Mario Maker, and sm4sh. Lots of really cool levels on SMM |
I played Super Mario Maker a total of 1 time, bad purchase
Would like to play Yoshi's Wolly World |
SMM is kind of "what you make of it"... you have to dig around to make the game better. I liken it to playing something like Skyrim modded vs unmodded. If you know what mods you're looking for it totally changes the experience, but often you're grasping at straws because you don't really have a roadmap for the "right" way to do it. (bad analogy sry)
YWW is real fun. It's a bit on the easy side but great for a relaxing platformer |
I mostly detest anything "fan made" so I knew I wouldn't like it but thought it would be good to have around if ppl wanted to play it but I never really invited anyone to do so
|
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Female Saiyan Level 49 just about to fight Beerus.
|
Finishing up Deus Ex Human Revolution before moving to Zelda Breath of the Wild.
|
I snagged Mankind Divided during the Square sale a week or so ago... unfortunately for that game, BotW is going to consume all my attention for the next little while.
|
Haunting starring Polterguy on the Genesis.
|
KOTOR2. Replayed KOTOR1 before.
|
Horizon: Zero Dawn. Anyone not playing this is a square.
|
or Zelda. Zelda is also acceptable at this time.
