Leviathan 2/10
Cheesy shit "horror" at its best. It's about a silver mining crew that finds a safe on a sunken Russian ship. Inside the safe is vodka that 2 crew members drink and it genetically alters them into killer mutant fish people. It gets a 2 only because Ernie Hudson and Daniel Stern are in it. |
The Usual Suspects - 9/10
Finally watched this and loved it |
Death Wish - 5/10. Forget which one I watched, but it was decent.
Rain Man - 10/10. Finally watched this. Holy shit....it was freaking sad. |

Night and the City 7/10
An old film noir. A con man with delusions of grandeur goes to a professional wrestling show. The show is run by a man named Kristo, who has a stranglehold on the wrestling industry and is turning it into a spectacle. His father, Gregorious is ashamed at what is being done to wrestling. The con man sees an opportunity and begins a hustle to start his own wrestling promotion... earning him many enemies in the process. |
The Final Destination - 5/10
I really liked the first one, but they've pretty much played the Final Destination formula to death. I think they put more thought into their death traps then the people with Saw did. Didnt get to see it in 3-d though. |
K Pax — the one with Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey. Spacey's character thinks he is from a planet called K Pax, but is just mentally lost.
6/10 |
lol terrible movie. wow
|
The King of Comedy - Kind of ashamed of myself for not watching this sooner. Dark and depressing, pretty funny too, in a kind of awkward way. It's eerie how relevant it is today, i'm assuming way more than it was in 1982. 9/10

Wolfman 7/10
I would imagine a lot will say this is shit. It's a cheesy monster feature, but that's what it should be. I liked that it was set in 19th century England. The whole tone and atmosphere of the movie was great, and they did a slow build instead of overdoing the werewolf action and making it boring. Really I'm just a sucker for werewolf movies and mythology, and it never seems to get as many go arounds as Vampires and Zombies and the rest of them. The plot is kind of jumbled at times, but I appreciate that there was one. That's more than most modern horror flicks can say. There were actually multiple plot-lines going on, which is even more rare. If you like monster movies, check it out. |
Stepfather: 7/10
I never saw the originals, but I knew the whole theme. The opening scene in this was classic. very good way to start a movie. The rest of the movie was just the audience waiting for the stepfather to snap. The build to the ending was good. The ending was horrible though. It's like they had a great pace leading to the ending and then then zipped right through it. Also, I really wanted more of a backstory on the Stepfather. I wish we would of found out about him as a child, young adult and what led to him doing what he did. Zombieland: Fun movie. expected what I got. Emma Stone is fucking hot. 7/10 |
|
My Blue Heaven - 5/10.
Zombieland - 8/10. Adventures of Pluto Nash - 17/10. |

Whoa. |
Watched Memento like 3 times but fell asleep each time.
World's Greatest Dad - http://zs.ffshrine.org/album/link-to...astersword.gif The kid in it reminded me of NerF. Mainly because he looked like a fat NerF and his name was Kyle. |
Memento is cool, Nolan loves a mind fuck. Can't wait to see how he handles The Riddler.

|
I like that movie, mostly because I've had sex after watching it twice
|
Shutter Island- 8.5
|
Final Destination (the most recent one) 4/10
They just beefed up the gore in this one. I guess it's alright if you like the others and if you have an hour and a half to kill |
Hud - Wish Hollywood still made movies like this, 9/10
|
Shutter Island - 7/10
|
Night at the Museum 2 : 7/10
Tried to do too much, though the Oscar the Grouch appearance was awesome and Hank Azaria and Amy Adams saved it from being bad. Plus I now want to use the term "jimmy-jacked" just once. |
G.I. Joe - 4/10
|
Ran - 5/5
Japanese spin on King Lear, pretty wild. |
Inglorious Basterds: 9/10
Shutter Island: 7.5/10 |
Pan's Labyrinth - http://zs.ffshrine.org/album/link-to...etTriforce.gif
|
If Pan's Labyrinth turned out to be the girl day dreaming all along it would have got 5/5 from me. But the 'milk doll' scene crosses the Faun and rebel plots, making an ending like that impossible. Good movie, though.
|
Why would the "It Was All A Dream" outcome - which is usually seen as quite the cop-out - make the film better for you Kalyx?
|
For me it would sell the psychological issues I'd associate to a girl living the life she was forced to. That the whole faun ordeal was her way of escaping the fact that her step father was a mad man, her mother was ill, and she had nobody (save Mercedes) to relate to.
|
Shutter Island 4/5
Valentine's Day 3/5 |
|
Just saw Family Man with Nicholas Cage, Tea Leoni, and Don Cheadle. Was pretty impressed. Nick Cage can be a good actor when he isn't playing the same clueless idiot all the time.
|
Shutter Island - 7.5/10
|
The Wolfman - 3/5
|
Someone has to know something about She's Crushed. Ive seen a couple reviews which make it out to be something Id be interested in but Ive been let down before by random reviews like that.

Time Travelor's Wife 6/10
ha, this one totally backfired on my wife. she thought it was going to be a nice gay romantic movie, but it was a lot more of a supernatural type thing mixed with Romance. she hated it. I thought it was fine. whatever. Tringle: 5/10 This is a horror film with a little bit of a mind fuck involved. Basically the main character relives the same thing over and over. And it takes place in the Bermuda Triangle. It's ok if you have time to kill. The Collector: 10/10 Woah, what the fuck. Didn't expect this at all. I am a fan of the sick horror movies and all, but this one was pretty disturbing. It had me on the edge on my seat and freaked out for the entire movie. The character could really be the next new horror icon, but I read it preformed terrible in the box office. But if you like the gore and the horror films that just make you very uncomfortable and have your heart racing, see this one. |

I didn't really watch all of those yesterday. I didn't rate things while the picture game was going on because I didn't want to give away that I was just posting pictures from the most recent movie I watched.

Just realized that theres 13 movies there. Boy is my face red

Click to launch the helper at the top of the page, enter the code, and you got a perfect Divx version, the one I saw. IT IS shit. But it is different, and worth one watch just to settle that curiosity I also had. Not the worst film I have seen, but lurking kinda nearly there. |
Down Periscope 6/10

Up 8.5/10
Really enjoyed this movie |
Edge of Darkness - 7.5
It's pretty good to see that jew-hating, drunk-driving son of a bitch back on the big screen for some reason. EDIT: Fuck that, it's at least an 8. |
the blind side 7/10
gi joe : rise of cobra 6/10 |
Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever 1/10
hahaha lol. incredible. if you like cheesy B movie type horror, then get this. The blurb on the back of the movie is so fucked because it's not the movie at all. It says "3 days after the flesh eating virus killed his friends, Paul (from Cabin Fever 1) sets out to warn a near by high school of the dangerous virus." Or something to that effect. So the movie starts with Paul waking up in the forest where he had been since the 1st movie and then like within 2 minutes he is killed by a passing school bus. ROFL WHAT???? So the whole movie just shifts to the school and the virus is already there. And you can figure out the rest. Carriers: 7/10 This was alright. It's pretty much your standard virus attacks the world and the survivors are trying to get somewhere to find a cure or a safe zone. There's no zombies or anything, but the main characters run into the infected people along the way and what not. worth a watch I guess Circle of Eight: 2/10 meh, the concept was cool and I didn't even figure it out until I read it online after I watched the movie, but it's real cheesy. There's a lesbian sex scene in this though that's just thrown in the movie without any purpose at all. The two girls aren't even in the movie after the scene. lol |
Rob Zombies Halloween Aborted Fetus Spectacular Part 2
I dont think I need to elaborate with a rating. The saddest thing is I didnt think the first one was that bad but..just..ugh |
"I like it because it's gritty"
Fuckin garbage |
Blockbuster has shipped Dead Snow (Bluray)
WHOOHOO...FINALLY |
Just watched 9
9/10 Loved everything about this movie. I think the way they named each character by a number and made them all unique is amazing. Great action and adventure. |
Gamer - 8/10
Come on, a real life tea bagging in the first five minutes. |
Gamer- 6/10
Law Abiding Citizen- 5/10 Little Miss Sunshine- 7.5/10 |
Ah what? Law Abiding Citizen was much better than Gaymer.
|
The Pianist - 5/5
|
Braveheart - 6.5/10
Dunno, I knew it was a little on the inaccurate side historically speaking, just didn't know it was almost entirely fictional. Good film, but yeah I dunno, Longshanks was almost comical. |
The Box: 6/10
I enjoyed it, but honestly, I never understood what this whole thing was about. Anybody care to explain. Like it was a good thriller, but I was just waiting and waiting to go... "oh, I see now" and yea, that never happened. Like I understood the whole box thing was a SPOILER: show |
I guess you could say I couldn't think outside the box
|
Ponyo (on a Cliff by the Sea) - 9/10 - Basically the only anime I'll ever watch is Ghibli/Miyazaki...this one was beautifully animated and a little light on story, but the atmosphere it created was fantastic. I loved it.
Julie & Julia - 7.8/10 - Meryl NAILED Julia Child. She should definitely win the Oscar tonight. Sandra Bullock in the Blind Side isn't even close. |
