She seems like a genuinely great person. Which just makes her even more beautiful. That smile tho

You're comparing anatomically incorrect cartoons to real people. Doesn't really go, I don't think

We're talking about comic characters, you realize this?

Who cares if they are anatomically incorrect as long as they have big jugs, amirite?

Big jugs, petite jugs. I don't care. She's sexy af in that wonder woman outfit

Wonder Woman: 10/10

I can't think of a single thing I didn't like about this movie. And I'm not even really a "superhero movie" kinda guy

Destor 06-15-2017 11:06 PM

Beauty and the Beast (2017: ) 9/10

Sucker for musicals in general but the cast was great. Didnt trump the animated film though

Black Widow 06-16-2017 06:10 PM

Rough Night

I laughed a good bit

Obviously a character as old and iconic as wonder woman has been drawn hundreds of ways, but most fans prefer the more toned athletic look, that some aryists have gone with, as its befitting of someone who is meant to be a warrior. I had the same reservations about Gadot's frame, but she worked the fuck out and looked great in this.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - 9/10

road doggy dogg 06-18-2017 11:17 PM

Has anyone seen "All Eyez on Me" ? The Tupac biopic movie...

Sounds like a complete and utter train wreck. Like apparently they have an actor playing Snoop Dogg in the movie, and Snoop Dogg himself dubs over his lines lmao. I kind of need to see this I think

GD 06-19-2017 08:47 PM

Rotten Tomatoes score is bad.

Sixx 06-19-2017 09:06 PM

They only chose that guy to play Tupac, cause he looks a lot like Tupac (it's how he got famous in the internet).

So I take it he might be a pretty bad actor.

GD 06-21-2017 01:13 AM

It Comes At Night - 8/10

It was slow and cerebral. The cinematography was beautiful.

Destor 06-21-2017 10:57 PM

Moana: 8/10

So glad Disney is making musicals again

Ruien 06-21-2017 11:35 PM

Yes. I love rap hop. Wanna see this. Such talent

Seanny One Ball 06-23-2017 05:54 PM

John Wick 2: 9/10

The action sequences, the way Keanu plays it straight in a universe where every character is describing him with childlike awe granting him "monster under the bed" status, the spot on dialogue and the soundtrack are all contributing factors to a glorious continuation of the Wick legend. I loved it.

That is how you do gun fighting.

A.J.K 06-25-2017 12:47 AM

Nine Lives

10/10

Big Vic 06-26-2017 09:49 AM

I also liked Moana.

Baby Driver 4.5/5

Such a great movie that I went into knowing very little about. I loved how they used the music in it, to help with the story, acting was wonderful and highly recommend.

GD 06-30-2017 07:56 PM

Baby Driver - 8/10

Damian Rey 2.0 07-01-2017 12:31 AM

Power Rangers-6/10

Meh. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't good. I liked the prologue, the Zordon/Rita dynamic, and the suits were cool.

The character development was pretty bleh. The ending was lackluster and Goldar sucked.

Overall it was an ok waste of time. Felt like it being more light hearted and campy would've worked better.

Personal Shopper - 8/10

Quite an enjoyable film with the exception of Kristen Stewart's quirks.

GD 07-06-2017 07:55 AM

P. S. If anyone has seen the film, I'd love to discuss the ending...k thanks.

Spider-man Homecoming - Completely ridiculous, how did this kid get all these spider powers? I was so confused. A third of the movie should have been dedicated to explaining this.

Lost City of Z - Not a zombie movie. I liked the look of this, shot on 35mm, it had a style reminiscent of the finest movies of the 70s, but it felt under cooked. I pretty much say this about every movie but it needed more scenes in the jungle. Spider-man was in this.

Gonna book my 70mm IMAX ticket right now for this weekend.....

mitch_h 07-21-2017 12:52 AM

St Elmo's Fire - Damn, this movie was so bad. Just a bunch of post-college yuppie shitheads being awful in 1985. Gets melodramatic and unintentionally funny towards the end. It was funny that Emilio Estevez was stalking Andie Macdowell yet she would keep inviting him inside her house after she would catch him stalking her... and then her husband offered to take a picture of her and her stalker. Fuck this movie though.

It Could Happen to You - Pretty enjoyable dumb movie from 1993. It felt like the filmmakers wanted to make a Frank Capra movie but they didn't have a script or anything and were just making it up as they went along. Nicholas Cage plays an "everyman" which was fun because he's a maniac.

Kong Skull Island- Watched it on a plane, enjoyable. Good movie to watch on a plane because it felt impossible that a plane would crash and kill 200 people while Kong Skull Island was on.

ClockShot 07-21-2017 03:41 PM

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets - 3.5/5

SPOILER: show
The CGI was incredible, the concept was great. What kept it from being up there with the likes of Avatar, Star Wars, etc. was the lousy plot/story. And, the chemistry between Dane DeHaan & Cara Delevingne. Too cookie cutter.

Damian Rey 2.0 07-22-2017 04:16 PM

War for the Planet of the Apes-9/10

Favorite one of the reboot thus far. Very character driven. Great ending to the trilogy while leaving it wide open for wherever they go next.

GD 07-22-2017 05:47 PM

Dunkirk - 7/10

The visuals were gorgeous. The tension was real.

Lock Jaw 07-22-2017 05:50 PM

Gonna go see it in half an hour......

Lock Jaw 07-22-2017 08:55 PM

Dunkirk - 5.5/10

Looked amazing, but felt like Chris Nolan was too busy "jerking off" over IMAX cameras and "great visuals" and forgot to make a really compelling story......

Sixx 07-23-2017 10:27 AM

Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 - 9/10

Finally got to see it. Fantastic, but I had no doubt it would be.

Of course the greatest scene is the Yondu/Rocket team-up.

Seanny One Ball 07-24-2017 05:22 PM

A Cure For Wellness - An exercise in destroying tension. Stephen King would be proud of the terrible ending to an otherwise awesome movie.

7/10

Two notches down from where a perfect ending may have gotten it.

Seanny One Ball 07-24-2017 05:27 PM

Logan 8/10

The best X Man gets the best solo film. Stephen Merchant was mesmerising. I truly loved it but was saddened by the spectacle rapidly losing realism. The baddies were too much like X2, Last Stand and Origins.

Wolverine was too badass for a fallen idol. He should have lost a hand or something.

Seanny One Ball 07-24-2017 05:33 PM

Arrival - 3/10

Amy Adams can't carry a movie. She's too plain and a mediocre actress.

Seanny One Ball 07-24-2017 05:35 PM

Angela's Ashes - Irish poverty isn't funny unless you include a gimp who has a magical left foot or a bunch of kids fighting over buttons. 3/10

Seanny One Ball 07-24-2017 05:41 PM

Split 7/10

James McAvoy was used poorly. The female lead was excellent.

This gets one extra point for the ending.

If McAvoy just ressurects his character from Filth he could win an Oscar.

Simple Fan 07-24-2017 08:41 PM

Spiderman Homecoming 8/10. Best Spiderman yet but not having a Spidey sense was just wrong. Also wasn't big on Karen, suit was cool though other than that. Keaton killed it I thought.

ClockShot 07-25-2017 06:37 PM

Dunkirk - 4.5/5

Seanny One Ball 07-25-2017 07:09 PM

Lucy - 2/10

Garbage. Scarlett Johansson was annoying enough without the pretentious pseudo philosophy. I hope Morgan Freeman lives to see the day my punches rain down on his face.

I hope Luc Besson gets prostate cancer.

Seanny One Ball 07-25-2017 07:10 PM

Fist Fight 7/10

Charlie Day and Ice Cube though.
Plus Jillian Bell is funny as fuck. I think she's funnier than Amy Poehler and Tina Fey and they two comedy bitches.

Blue Demon 07-26-2017 08:58 AM

Dunkirk - 9/10

I liked how the story was told from different perspectives.

Frank Drebin 07-26-2017 08:53 PM

The Angriest Man in Brooklyn - 1 star.

This is what happens when you let your wife pick the movie. Never let your wife pick the movie. You'd think I would have learned my lesson years ago going to garbage on screen like Georgia Rule and Couples Retreat but I keep allowing her to make selections of movies.

Seanny One Ball 07-27-2017 02:29 AM

Couples Retreat is one of those weird movies with a great cast but absolutely no storyline that just fucking sucks. It's the Sarah Marshall effect.

Frank Drebin 07-27-2017 07:41 AM

Forgetting Sarah Marshal was good tho

Lock Jaw 07-27-2017 09:45 AM

I don't really remember Couples Retreat, but I remember I saw it, and I think I remember enjoying it.......

Frank Drebin 07-27-2017 10:30 AM

It was a shitty Vince Vaughn movie. Doesn't seem like that's a lock jaw flick.

Big Vic 07-27-2017 01:21 PM

Couples retreat was not enjoyable.

Lock Jaw 07-27-2017 08:07 PM

No no. Lock Jaw  Vince Vaughn Rom Coms
