Obviously a character as old and iconic as wonder woman has been drawn hundreds of ways, but most fans prefer the more toned athletic look, that some aryists have gone with, as its befitting of someone who is meant to be a warrior. I had the same reservations about Gadot's frame, but she worked the fuck out and looked great in this.

Sounds like a complete and utter train wreck. Like apparently they have an actor playing Snoop Dogg in the movie, and Snoop Dogg himself dubs over his lines lmao. I kind of need to see this I think

Rotten Tomatoes score is bad.

They only chose that guy to play Tupac, cause he looks a lot like Tupac (it's how he got famous in the internet).

So I take it he might be a pretty bad actor.

The action sequences, the way Keanu plays it straight in a universe where every character is describing him with childlike awe granting him "monster under the bed" status, the spot on dialogue and the soundtrack are all contributing factors to a glorious continuation of the Wick legend. I loved it.

Meh. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't good. I liked the prologue, the Zordon/Rita dynamic, and the suits were cool.

The character development was pretty bleh. The ending was lackluster and Goldar sucked.

Overall it was an ok waste of time. Felt like it being more light hearted and campy would've worked better.

Spider-man Homecoming - Completely ridiculous, how did this kid get all these spider powers? I was so confused. A third of the movie should have been dedicated to explaining this.

Lost City of Z - Not a zombie movie. I liked the look of this, shot on 35mm, it had a style reminiscent of the finest movies of the 70s, but it felt under cooked. I pretty much say this about every movie but it needed more scenes in the jungle. Spider-man was in this.

St Elmo's Fire - Damn, this movie was so bad. Just a bunch of post-college yuppie shitheads being awful in 1985. Gets melodramatic and unintentionally funny towards the end. It was funny that Emilio Estevez was stalking Andie Macdowell yet she would keep inviting him inside her house after she would catch him stalking her... and then her husband offered to take a picture of her and her stalker. Fuck this movie though.

It Could Happen to You - Pretty enjoyable dumb movie from 1993. It felt like the filmmakers wanted to make a Frank Capra movie but they didn't have a script or anything and were just making it up as they went along. Nicholas Cage plays an "everyman" which was fun because he's a maniac.

Kong Skull Island- Watched it on a plane, enjoyable. Good movie to watch on a plane because it felt impossible that a plane would crash and kill 200 people while Kong Skull Island was on.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets - 3.5/5

War for the Planet of the Apes-9/10

Favorite one of the reboot thus far. Very character driven. Great ending to the trilogy while leaving it wide open for wherever they go next.

Finally got to see it. Fantastic, but I had no doubt it would be.

Of course the greatest scene is the Yondu/Rocket team-up.

A Cure For Wellness - An exercise in destroying tension. Stephen King would be proud of the terrible ending to an otherwise awesome movie.

The best X Man gets the best solo film. Stephen Merchant was mesmerising. I truly loved it but was saddened by the spectacle rapidly losing realism. The baddies were too much like X2, Last Stand and Origins.

Wolverine was too badass for a fallen idol. He should have lost a hand or something.

Arrival - 3/10

Amy Adams can't carry a movie. She's too plain and a mediocre actress.

Angela's Ashes - Irish poverty isn't funny unless you include a gimp who has a magical left foot or a bunch of kids fighting over buttons. 3/10

James McAvoy was used poorly. The female lead was excellent.

This gets one extra point for the ending.

If McAvoy just ressurects his character from Filth he could win an Oscar.

Spiderman Homecoming 8/10. Best Spiderman yet but not having a Spidey sense was just wrong. Also wasn't big on Karen, suit was cool though other than that. Keaton killed it I thought.

This is what happens when you let your wife pick the movie. Never let your wife pick the movie. You'd think I would have learned my lesson years ago going to garbage on screen like Georgia Rule and Couples Retreat but I keep allowing her to make selections of movies.

Couples Retreat is one of those weird movies with a great cast but absolutely no storyline that just fucking sucks. It's the Sarah Marshall effect.
