Vampire Survivors
On gamepass and PC I think.
This game is fun as hell and a lil addicting. Pick a hero, collect power ups, pew pew the fook outta legions of baddies, REPEAT. Reminds me of Gauntlet, but with leveling and being able to "customize" your characters weapons. I cannot stop playing this damn game. The more you play, the better it gets and the more stuff opens up. It's around $5 and has a DLC now that is $2. |

lol I got addicted to this digital crack a couple months ago after seeing Asmongold play it. Couldn't stop playing it. Unlocked everything. Kids are all addicted to it now too and here I am about to dive back in and do the new "Adventures" they just added with 1.8.
If you like this, you might wanna throw down the few dollars for another game on Steam called "Halls of Torment". It's like if Vampire Survivors jedi mind tricked Diablo 1/2 into letting it smash. Theres another very new one called Death Must Die too. It's in very early access and doesn't have much content yet but it's basically an upgraded version of Halls of Torment at it's core. |

That's the red death though. The white death that follows...well that's a different matter entirely. You figure out a way to kill that one and you let me know first thing. |

Good to know about Death. I could tell it was some cheese mechanic with the insta-death part of it. I like the mystery. I remember the stage where a buncha eyeballs surrounded me and then teleported me somewhere. I "beat" that level. Went back to another level where I thought there was a White Death that turned into an orb looking thing?? I killed it. I haven't visited the last two bonus stages. Bone yard or something? IM FUCKING TERRIBLE WITH NAMES and barely remember them right now. |

oh and those 2 paid DLCs are excellent btw. The levels are actually designed and have their own maps with unique locations and set boss spawns. Much different than the base levels.

I feel embarrassed reading the title as Vampire Saviors, thinking it another Darkstalkers entry.

Having to fight a buncha different colored Death's in Cappella Magna.
Orange one first. EZ. God damn blue one that summons water from the bottom of the screen and stays a whole screen away..... problematic. After a bit, a green one starts to roam, but he just roams and if he touches you, insta-death. Thing the blue Death bugged out. Got an item, the water disappeared, he was still there for a bit, and then just disappeared outta nowhere. Had to fight a purple one after that. Something else in the stage killed me. Got smoked in the bone yard too. Can't remember what did it there, but I didn't try too hard since it feels like the stage with all the Deaths is the way to progress. |

The dude who starts with knives and has +1 to projectiles.
That, and the magic character who starts with the Mana whatever - it shoots vertically through the whole screen. Rip it up with both of them. The sloth looking mofo who throws cherry bombs is fun too. |

I was running the guy that starts with the two wings a lot. Once it upgrades and combines, its monstrous.
Recently unlocked sigma, which is basically easy mode even in inverse maps |

I should get back into this, what with the DLC and all.
Funny story about this: I have it on my phone, and I was under the assumption a few months ago that I had it on my Switch. I didn't (I apparently was thinking of XBOX) , but had Hades, which I didn't remember buying. Either way, addiction all around. |

Bought the DLC last night, fuck yeah.
I love how it takes you to an entirely new "main menu" to keep things separate. Love the overall Japanese theme so far too. 2nd level almost reminds me of the OG Legend of Kage arcade music. Unexpected amazing game outta nowherere! (for me) |
