Martyn LaSalle has something to say about Quentin McDaniels. He's impressed, no question about it. He wants Quentin to know about how much LaSalle respects him and that the time they spent together as a team did mean a lot and it taught him a lot. One of the most important things he learned was when and when not to show mercy. Enemies will be enemies; he expects treachery from them. But a friend stabbing him in the back? Well, Quentin will find out the hard way at Backlash just how much mercy he'll get.

We get a promo from Faith Connors talking about her title match against Sonya Braddock this Sunday at Backlash. She talks about how she knows she can beat Braddock because she's done it before. She fully expects Braddock to be prepared and ready for a Faith Connors she's faced before. But Braddock should know by now that you don't face the same Faith Connors twice. She's more driven, more determined, more unpredictable, and, yes, even a little more crazy. No limits this Sunday, Braddock. Count on it!

MAIN EVENT SEGMENT: Unified World Champion Noah Carmichael comes down in a pissy mood. He's upset about what transpired on Raw. He got banged up pretty bad but he's here and ready to go at Backlash. The only downside is that he has to report that he has no clue as to who it was that took him out. Could it have been Xavier Cross? Carmichael seems to think so as he had every reason to be mad at Haven last week and a reason to be afraid of what was going to happen to him if he had faced Carmichael on Raw. It would've even been worse than what Haven did. Then again, maybe this has been all one big ruse perpetrated by someone who has been known as a master of deception and manipulation and head games. Maybe, just maybe, there's a certain someone who knows they won't be able to get the job done come Backlash and wants some kind of shortcut to the title. Maybe no one ever touched Haven last week and this is all so everyone can run around like chickens without a head, paranoid and on the verge of snapping. Well, mission accomplished because Carmichael is certainly ready to snap. The only problem is that it's going to be taken out on Haven's creepy ass this Sunday...

...CUE HAVEN HIMSELF! He enters the ring and gets up in Carmichael's grill. Haven doesn't buy into the bravado that everybody likes to throw around here and Carmichael is no different. Haven thinks Carmichael is the one faking everything because he knows how vulnerable his championship reign is. Carmichael asks if Haven is calling him a liar. No, says Haven. He's calling Carmichael a coward. This sets off Carmichael AND WE HAVE A BRAWL ON OUR HANDS! We go off the air with the two combatants going at it!

Overall show rating: 87%
