I'm not sure anyone carried more than HBK carrying Flair at WM 24. The moonsault on the table which Flair wasnt even on the table lol. Then the spot to the outside where ( he should have been caught ), Flair doesnt catch him at all ROFL. I'm not sure how Shawn Michaels walked away without help.
And to Michael's credit. He did everything he could possibly do to make that match a Flair moment and he pulled it off. HBK paid dues in this match. He paid them big time. ( I'm watching the WWE WM countdown ). |

Why does John Cena have that hair? I didn’t recognize him at first? I know people make jokes about it, but he even joked about putting himself in a Hair Match at one point. But surely no one is telling him it’s a good idea. It ages him tremendously. Unless he plans to dye it blond and play Steve Rogers in a Captain America series for Disney.

HBK not only sold, finished, but he also got out the fucking ring right away and let Ric Flair have his moment. I'm not saying he's absolved for bullshit, but fucking hell he did a solid at Wrestlemania 24.

Seems they’re not doing the rumored Hardys/Usos tag title match at Mania as the Hardys just got put into the ATGMBR.
The Usos, The Bar, and Rusev/Nakamura were not put in it so that’s probably the SD tag title match. No Revival, Black/Ricochet, or Hawkins/Ryder in it either so that might be the Raw tag scene. Winning a title at WM could be the payoff to Hawkins’ losing streak, you know they’d drop them back the next night |

I can see everyone just being in the Battle Royal, but having mirrored Tag Title matches on the pre-show wouldn't be unusual. I don't think Hawkins winning needs to happen ever, but whatever.

I mostly only see him winning because WM is in Hawkins and Ryder’s “hometown” (not really, but they treat NY and NJ as interchangeable).
Would also make for some weird symmetry with Ryder losing a belt the night after winning at Mania twice |

I don't think it's impossible or anything. I'm just not a fan of Ryder nor Hawkins anymore, haha. I liked Hawkins for a while last run, but that was more because I hated the main roster stuff, I realize. The guy's got next to no charisma.

Plugging Harper back into the main roster feels really uninspired at this point. I don't really want to see them just revert back to the Wyatt vibes. I don't want the Bludgeon Brothers back. I don't really want to see Bryan with him, as great as Harper and Bryan could be together. It's just too...now he's got the Wyatt Family. But if they aired promos of this guy talking about his rehab, his age, his story, his wife, his kids, his injuries and what he thinks he can bring, then there might be this edge to him that makes me think he could be this wizened old guy trying for one big run. |

I don’t THINK Harper will be put back with Bryan and Rowan...but I don’t know. WWE probably doesn’t know what they’re doing with Harper (or at all, really).

Man, Harper in New Japan would be fucking ace.
He might want out -- but that reads to me more like he wants to stand out. Fuck, it's kind of heart-breaking hearing people at the gym ask if he's retired, haha. He's been a darkhorse pick for me to sneak out the Andre Battle Royal at Mania. Not that that means anything. It might seem like an easy Braun or Owens victory, but I can see the SNL guys fucking over Braun and I can see Owens, frankly, just not caring about getting it and wanting to put someone else over. Him going ga-ga for Kofi makes me think he's eventually going to turn on him anyway, because they don't really have solid plans, I don't think. Harper sneaking in and taking the thing just to say "He's back" would not shock me. Fuck me, there was a window a few years ago where he was just fucking brilliant. I hope he still can be. He's surprisingly good as a babyface. I loved his match with Orton at Fastlane two years ago. The crowd didn't care at first, but you could tell they got into him playing the face. |

I can see him randomly being put on Raw, just because they don't want to re-do The Wyatt Family/Bludgeon Brothers so they just exile him from SmackDown completely so they don't tempt themselves. Harper actually going after Bryan could be interesting, but who knows? We'll see.

Fuck! You know what would be cool? Joe does some shit to Rey and Dominic. Harper makes the save and basically stands up to the bully and tells him to pick on somebody his own age.
Samoa Joe vs. Luke Harper. Fuck yeah. |

Starting my 1997 Raw rewatch. I made it to June on my 98 Raw watch and I had to tap out because of how bad it was. I like 97 WWF more than 98 so this should be better. Starting off with Owen Hart /w/ Clarence Mason vs Mankind /w/ Paul Bearer. Bret vs Vader Main Event. Not a bad way to start the watch.

Lol I can't wait to come across some taped Raws where Lawler and Vince talk about events that happened that weekend to give the illusion that this is being done live. Too funny. HBK is on commentary with Vince and Jerry during the Vader vs Bret match making shoot comments over and over lol

Wow, Vader pins Bret after Stone Cold interference. Pretty fun episode of Raw. Crowd didn't react to anything the entire show.

Yeah got a bus going at like 8am for New York. Leaving on bus early Monday morning. Got pretty terrible seats but it was still great for Dallas.

I got an amtrak that leaves at 3am saturday but was only 70 bucks. I ended up with 2 hotels, 1 in NYC near msg and 1 in NJ on sunday that should be easy to get to via the nj transit. leaving back for baltimore noon on monday and a 3 hour shuttle ride home that cost more than the amtrak ticket.
My mania seats are behind the stage lol but straight on view of the ring. I just wont be able to see entrances My seats for g1 are up high but at a good angle. honestly more excited for the g1 show since its my first msg show and itll prob be the last non wwe show there |

Yeah, I'm not carrying anything I can't fit in my pocket or wear. Unless I bring some beers and whatever crap before the show.

A couple of episodes in and this is much better than 98 Raw. I'm very interested in watching the company transition into the boom and how all the pieces fell into place. Sorta the same way when I watched the 83 t.v and how it transitioned into the Rock and Wresting era |
