Yeah, the dialog may be a little weird at points if Whedon's doing it, but it will be good weird, not bad weird.

Now that Matthew Vaughn has been signed to direct X-Men: First Class, the next film for the franchise (see “Matthew Vaughn to Helm X-Men: First Class”), he’s apparently bringing along Jane Goldman, who worked with him on Kick-Ass and Stardust, to work on the script. That’s according to a Tweet from Goldman’s husband, Jonathan Ross, via Syfy.
The film will be released June 3, 2011. |

$4,000. One year. Minigun can shoot paintballs via glove button. Maybe the greatest comic based costume ever. |

Must be incredibly hard to poop if you're Iron Man. Tony must pay careful attention to what he eats.

Nicktoons will air a second season of Iron Man: Armored Adventures in 2011. The new 26-episode season is already “well into production,” according to Eric S. Rollman, Marvel’s President of Animation. The new season will include the characters Nick Fury, Whiplash, Dr. Doom, and magneto, and will feature the resolution of the Makluan Ring saga.
Iron Man: Armored Adventures premiered on Nicktoons early last year (see “New Wolverine and Iron Man Toons”). |

Oh, what the fuck. Spectacular Spider-Man gets canceled without even telling the writers and cast that they're out of a job, and that shitty show gets renewed?

I wish Marvel would just do animated TV series that are not aimed at children? I have always thought if they got their shit together and did shows on characters such as Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, etc like the Spawn animated series..the adult crowd would love it.

Problems with that are that A) apart from the Spawn animated series, 'adult' cartoons really don't fare well at all, and I doubt Marvel would spend the extra dough to get it aired on HBO or whatever instead of Disney, and B) none of those characters are bankable commodities, especially not compared to Iron Man or Spider-Man, and especially after the lackluster movies made about them, Ghost Rider in particular. And nobody outside of comic geeks knows who the fuck Moon Knight is.

Yeah, the Disney purchase pretty much killed the 000.00003% chance of it ever happening.

Spider-man: The Gauntlet is the best spider-man story I've read since Mcfarlane's short run. Pretty much brings back everything that made the character great.

Pretty cool that he's going to be in that movie. How old will he be in WW2? The actor is about 31, but I would imagine he would have to be much younger. That would put them in 1942, and if he's around 25 years old that would make him in his late 50s at the time of Stark Expo.
Pretty pumped for The Avengers. I hope they can pull it off |
