Fallout
I know there are some fans of the game on here.
Anyone looking forward to the upcoming TV series? I'm enjoying some of the detail and nods to the game series, found in the trailer. |

I’m currently re-playing Fallout 3.
Dunno if I can be watching a show about an RPG. |

I play as avatars that look exactly like me in every game that has ever allowed it because that’s what create a character is for.

I play rpgs multiple times exploring all the ways things can be solved. Typically i got back and forth from the 2 genders. Some games it comes down to the voice actor though. Always play Mass Effect as female Shepard because Jennifer Hale is outstanding...and also because ManShep kinda sucks

But i dont see creation engines meant to "make me." I see them exactly the opposite infact. I see them as a way to make something unlike me so i can slip into the fantasy. Hence it being a Role Playing Game.

Series was pretty f’n good to be honest, felt exactly like playing the game again.
Johnny Pemberton was a fantastic addition to the show. Everything he did was absolutely hilarious. Daniel Stern has a contender for best ever comedy scream. |

Walton Goggins for the win.
I also liked Ella Purnell, who played a likeable, relatable character. The writers resisted the urge to create another girl boss, and instead gave us a character that had the room to grow. I've been resisting the urge to load up Fallout: New Vegas. |

If she doesn’t star as Gizmo in a Gremlins remake then her ridiculous eyes have been wasted.
Johnny Pemberton was so good though. Hilarious. |

Watched the fuck out of this. Wasn't disappointed.
Seems funny how it's deepening the original West Coast lore, given that Bethesda is more than happy to carve out their own content mostly along the Eastern Seaboard. About the only complaint I have is the Shady Sands thing, but I understand my bugbear with it is fairly nitpicky with tall things considered. |

Jesus, they did an amazing job with this show. I cannot wait for the rest of the season(s) hopefully.
Everything man, everything was there and was done so damn well. Enjoyed the playing of the "Fallout theme" when she unveiled the flag vault 4. They captured the world extremely well. |

OOOOOH! So many questions when you're done. Pure theories about "unanswered" stuff.

It's kinda creepy how accurate they made prewar Robert House look. I mean, I understand all they had to do was make a dude look a lot like Howard Hughes, but you didn't even have to read the nametag in the boardroom.

It was the music that sold it to me; gave it the feel that I was back in the games.

There was a "fun" (to myself anyway) game I was playing with all the "major" characters in the show. Treating them all as Level 1 creations, I was trying to guess what are their tag skills and beginning traits. Well, everyone except Lucy, who pretty much states hers at the beginning.

Her brother is totally sneak + hack + security. High INT, low STR and END.
Convinced my wife to start it. On my 2nd watch of the season now. |
