Blood Diamond 9/10
3 things I took from this movie. 1. I won't look at diamonds the same way again. 2. Leo is a great actor 3. And Jennifer Connelly is smokin hot |

Beer Wars
A documentary about the beer industry. After watching this movie I will never purposefully drink another Anheuser-Busch product. This movie exposes the bullying tactics of the "big 3" beer companies. The Buds/Coors/Millers of the world have finally been shown in a negative light. My favorite part of this doc was the time carefully spent talking to the craft brewers all around the country in their struggle and fight to stay in business. Beers featured are Yuengling, DogFish Head, Bud, Miller, Coors, and a few others. 5 out of 5 |

THE OTHER GUYS - 5/10
I dunno. Maybe there's something wrong with me. I feel like this is a movie I should have really liked, as I'm a big fan of Adam McKay's and I like Will Ferrell and Marky Mark as much as the next guy, but something about this whole movie just felt off. Maybe it was how I felt they were trying to parody the buddy cop action genre, yet they never veered far enough into the true territory of parody the way a Lethal Weapon 2 used to do. Honestly, the best part of the film and the only part that made me laugh out loud featured The Rock and Samuel Jackson in their final moments. SCOTT PILGRIM -V- THE WORLD - 8/10 Awesome. Loved everything about this movie, even the progressively less-funny Michael Cera. The Asian chick who plays Knives is fucking hot and I want to rock her body. The fight scenes are a lot of fun and there are way too many videogame and 90's kid references for me to count, and it's fun trying to find all of them. It might have ran a little on the long side, but this is understandable when they were adapting a huge, multiple part comic book story. |

Machete - 7/10. Violence was great, and Michelle Rodriguez was hot as hell. I was dissapointed because Steven Seagal didn't kick anybodys ass and the sword fight he had at the end sucked.

I was disapointed with Seagal too, but DeNiro and Don Johnson were both really good and Jeff Fahey was surprisingly good too. Coulda done without the Lohan crap but whatever. I remember hearing about how they were going to do a movie based on the fake trailer and I honestly didn't think it would turn out that well, especially when all the big name talent started being attached to it, but it was good. Would have been an easy 10/10 if they could have kept the momentum going from the first 20 minutes (which is awesome) but its still really good. I was also disapointed there was no "Agent Orange" Fake Trailer from Tarantino as was rumored. From the turnout I saw though for 2 shows (got there a bit too early), I really don't see any chance of "Machette Kills/Machette Kills Again" happening. |

I agree with you one hundred percent.
I didn't like the Lohan in this either. I'm not a fan of hers, but I did chuckle when she said "I forgot the rest." I'll give credit for that. |

Not The Mesiah: He's A Very Naughty Boy - 7/10
A musical created by Eric Idol as the 40th anniversary of Monty Python. It is simply Idol & 4 soloists featuring the BBC orchestra and a huge choir singing songs related to Life of Brian (among others). It got kinda boring and dry in parts but dry is what Monty Python (and most Brittish humor) is all about so it cannot be counted as a fault. It was a good celebration at Royal Albert Music Hall & did justice to the Monty era. The show concludes with a rousing rendition of "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" featuring everyone in the audience participating with song, whistling and glow sticks. It gave me chills. If you are a die hard Python fan you will appreciate this celebration. If you have not seen the movies or are not a fan of operas you will find this boring as shit. |

Big Fan: 7/10. A lot more of a black comedy than I anticipated. Patton Oswalt was great, nonetheless. |

Penelope - 7/10
GI Joe - 6/10 GI Joe would have gotten a lower score but the last 45 minutes was pretty good action and made up for the bad acting and cheesiness. Penelope was just fucking cute. It was like a quick read it seemed to be over as soon as it started. I like that with movies in this genre. |

I just watched the new Star Trek movie too.
10/10 As a stand alone movie, without much knowledge of the rest of the Star Trek universe, I thought it was pretty badass. Definitely loved that Leonard Nimoy was in it. |

Toy Story 3-9/10
The story is a bit more slapstick than the previous 2, but they make up for it with a great escape-style story. And a scene at the end that's a tear jerker. I absolutely loved it. |

Brooklyn's Finest 7/10
Pretty standard cop movie but with better than standard acting from Cheadle and Ethan Hawk. Coulda done better than Gere for the seasoned care-less cop with a week left character though. Crazies 8/10 Better than I expected. Wasn't even aware it was a remake so I might need to try and find the original. |

Almost Heroes - 4/5
This movie gets a bad rap. I laughed several times and the plot was fine enough. I'm a Farley mark and I wasn't expecting a serious period piece. New York I Love You - 3/5 12 individual stories by 12 different directors with the main character seemingly being New York City. It was ok. I expected better and honestly thought some of the little "shorts" would make great full length movies. While others bored me. |

Scott Pilgrim vs The World - 7/10
Dunno. The phrase "less than the sum of its parts" comes to mind. Loved most of the imagery, a lot of the dialogue was also good but it didn't "add up" to an excellent film. Maybe I was just too tired to enjoy it properly... |
