Entering into a multi-year deal with that piece of shit regime could be such a shitstorm for them. I'm sure they worked in a little detail where if they execute women for driving or the world decides that they need to impose sanctions they can break the deal, but still.

I hope they just give the money back now that they have the Fox deal. I don't want another Saudi Show, that was fucking weird and now there are too many threats against doing another.

I'd love to see another Saudi show especially if its the Greatest Survivor Series or something like that. Big elimination match. I thought the Greatest Royal Rumble was good, meaningless but still a good show. Plus there a no women on the card in Saudi.

Actually he should skip WWE and try and get a main spot with NJPW.

Why is Braun's suitcase a cinder block?
That's not very practical. |

Brock is not mentioned by WWE nor in the promo material of superstars so I think him leaving after SummerSlam is true.

I like Tom Phillips. I can't imagine Graves being that good at play-by-play. |

When SmackDown goes to Fox, I'm thinking Cole swaps for Phillips (well, this would probably happen in the draft earlier in the year). Cole gets to work 2 hours on SmackDown, which is both a reduced schedule and a promotion, in a weird way. Phillips becomes the "Raw guy," which is both a promotion but harder work.
I wish WWE would get serious about their commentary, but I'd be surprised if much changes as far as their philosophy goes. Cole, Coachman and Graves on SmackDown and Phillips, Saxton and McGuinness on Raw makes sense. I've just taken Graves out because I can see them not wanting to rely on Graves so much going forward. I really wish they would give Mark Henry a trial as a commentator. He "ticks the boxes" of being a black man, which they insist is in there for some reason. He was actually a wrestler on the main roster for a while and is more a color guy in line with those that actually have cred. I remember him doing a guest spot on a Raw or something and he knocked it out of the park. |

The last Takeover I watched was War Games. I thought it was "good." Velveteen Dream was fucking incredible, lol. I'm keen to see how he goes against Ricochet, but I can probably DailyMotion it. Also, I'm very pessimistic about how the WWE is going to fuck him up and have him in a "weird feud" with Goldust or R-Truth and lose all his matches because he's over anyway.

Was that the match with Aleister Black where he was trying to get him to say his name? If so then yeah, that was pretty brilliant.

Yeah, that's the one. The whole story of that was fucking ace. Even the way it kind of got ahead of those annoying fans as Black said his name. Black looked cool as fuck in it too -- like a no-nonsense dude who just likes to fight, win matches, eat steak and fuck.

I've got no real clue who is going to win either Money in the Bank briefcase tomorrow. I haven't been following nearly closely enough. Is anyone standing out as the real clear favorite? Who is rumored to be getting it? The scuttlebutt last year was out about Baron Corbin getting the push.
Just in terms of how WWE thinks, Alexa Bliss and The Miz feel like solid enough picks. Bliss would use the briefcase to jump over to SmackDown when Charlotte wins the Royal Rumble to come over to Raw. Or something. A lot of people seem to think Nattie, but I think she just turns on Ronda with no cash in. I can see them putting the WWE Title on The Miz just so Bryan can win it off him. I don't really want to see The Miz anywhere near the WWE Title again, but it seems about as likely as anything else. Samoa Joe getting it would be pretty cool, and the gimmick seems to suit Owens, but I think they'll go with Miz. Nothing would surprise me though. |

I love Joe and this is what I want to happen, which is why I just cannot predict it, haha. I think Vince likes Joe, but I kind of feel like he is there to fluff about and make others look good as a gatekeeper sort.

It wouldn't shock me if there are plans to do something with Big E. But I think him being in the match is going to just be "enough." But then again, I can talk myself out of every single person in the match, and I guess someone has to win.

Have a weird feeling about Ember Moon. Intellectually, I feel like she is just in the match for some exposure and to remind people they called her up, but it's more of a gut feeling about her.

I've liked the idea of Sheamus & Cesaro joining Nakamura as a sort of heel unit. But really anyone could join up with Shinsuke. Would you put it past Vince to have Lars Sullivan help Nakamura walk out of Chicago as WWE Champion because he thinks it would be funny to hear Nakamura try and pronounce his name?

It's logical not to give Zack Ryder a sudden title reign just to take it off of him immediately and return him to jobber status. But it happened for shock purposes. I can seriously see New Day winning the MITB just for the surprise. They've got a year to figure out where they wanna go with it and it's a cheap way to "freshen up" a stale act. |

In fact, I can see them never actually picking one member for the match, all three of them grabbing the case at the same time and sharing it where any one of them can cash in. Then if they win the Smackdown title, they Freebird rule it.
