Also, the match should be the first ever REVERSE hair vs. hair match, where the winner picks the next style carved in the loser's next 'do. |

Seems Cross' callup is imminent and also explains her sudden big feud with Bazsler after doing nothing of note for a while in NXT. |

If Summerslam is Bobby/Brock I would be really into that. Also if they run DB/Miz, and Joe/Styles... Rest of that card smells like morning farts.

Rollins vs. Ziggler in an Iron Man match does nothing for me. But then again, Iron Man matches never do anything for me.
It doesn't really matter who is involved. When you have a time-based match like that, you know nothing matters until the final minute. |

pretty much. Obv take some rest spots to get their wind back. But if they start super slow, they'll lose the crowd right away because of stip working against them.

One of the best ways to build drama would be to have Dolph get ahead with a few falls, maybe even work and injury caused by Drew. The ref sends Drew away at some point and Seth has to mount a huge comeback.

fuck interference. Also I'm sorry, but going up several falls in a half hour match seems kind of dumb to me. These are guys that have been battling for one fall during half hour matches for weeks.
Make it straight up, and have them push the pace to keep the fans in it. |

It'll be 0-0 all the way through the match until McIntyre interferes right at the end and helps Ziggler score a pinfall with less than five seconds left on the clock.

I get the idea of that, but I think it would work infinitely better to just be a straight up match that unexpectedly lasted 30 minutes vs. a match you know is guaranteed a set amount of time.

Or Rollins attempts a pin on Ziggler but the time runs out just before the referee counts "three".

Like Michaels and Cena having that hour long match on a random Raw. Kept me interested throughout. If that was an Iron Man match I would've checked out until the last few minutes.

Nah I know what you mean. I'm just talking about working WITH the stip as opposed to throwing your hands up and accepting that it'll be shit.

I don't think you will check out if they work a good match. For me I've always enjoyed the iron man match, never "checked out" until the end. Steamboat/Rude Iron Man is one of my favorite matches ever. Also I do think the 30 minute version is a lot better than the one hour version.

Somehow Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet has convinced a larger site he actually scoops news on WWE....I don't think Satin's had a legit scoop since "WrestleMania 34 to be held in New Orleans"

Observer's Dave Meltzer recently speculated WWE is upset at Brock Lesnar for deciding to go back to MMA instead of staying in the WWE.
His basis was zero mentions of Lesnar last night on RAW and WWE uncharacteristically didn't try to leech some mainstream attention from Lesnar's recent UFC appearance. Seems WWE likely assumed if Lesnar didn't rejoin in the drug testing pool by the end of June, he was staying in the company for the foreseeable future. Instead he missed the deadline he wanted but still reapplied several days later. |

It would be interesting if they push Bobby to take the belt from him as a sort of slap in the face since he is a fighter as well, but I think they will go with the chance to try and further shove Roman down our throat.

And it may be the most succesful Roman throat fucking yet if they can use Lesnar's leaving for UFC so we boo him and cheer for Roman. Side note, I think whatever Lesnar match we see will suck because he's not going to want to risk injury.

With Brock, I am just going off of his history, particularly his time as IWGP Heavyweight Champion. And, unlike Neville, Lesnar has many more resources to counteract WWE than the other way around. Primarily, he can threaten to open the can of worms that got Punk and Del Rio out of their contracts.

Since his recent one was only renewed for a few shows at most and he holds a main title belt, WWE doesn't have as much leverage to go into petty mode. Nothing really stops him from wanting to use up the dates as quickly as possible and WWE probably would be breaching the contract if they purposely refused to use up his dates to artificially lengthen his contract. |

I can see them stripping belt of the belt as a story device. I don't think there's legit heat (come on, now -- it's Brock -- this is what he does). But I can see them wanting to get the Universal Title off him without him taking a fall so that they can promote him if he wins, but he's also not champion if he loses.

Meh, fuck Brock. Just have him job to someone and be done. His feuds and matches are boring as fuck now. I don't care for "keeping him strong" because whenever he comes back it'll just be the same.
He's had one hell of a career, and he's certainly made himself and the company lots of dollar dollar, but really, it's time to just be done with him. If he wants to come back in a few years time fine, but jobbing him out to someone now won't suddenly make him worthless. Even if it's to Lashley. I'm not fussed. |

I just watched this incredible match from World of Sport 1984. Marty Jones vs Fit Finlay. This is better than current day NJPW, amazing work here.
