Either that site got shut down because it wasn't "one sentence" snippets being posted from the Newsletter or it was someone else inetad threatening legal action to help shut it down.
Even in the replies that person admits it might not have been Meltzer who sent him the emails. |

The United States Championship was in pretty bad shape at one point in time.

Can’t believe how long the US belt has been around for. 16 years this year.

Has to easily be the longest running design of a current title, right? I wouldn’t mind seeing an update tbf.

When the belt first came out, people HATED it. So many were clamoring for the WCW design. It’s just survived somehow. Cena had his custom for a while, but how often does a belt design stay around for 13 years? I think it might be a company record.

The Reggie IC lasted about 12 years. It’s back now, so overall it has appeared more, but I don’t think it’s had the same continued run, if you know what I mean?

Hey TPWW, Survivor participation rates are pretty low right now and it's more fun the more people play, so here's a low effort plug. JAPAN Season 4 is starting on Wednesday (Very early in the AM for the US, regular AM for Europe) and you don't need to know anything about New Japan to play, as Season 2 Winner Lock Jaw and Season 3 runner up Sixx can confirm.
Click here and pick some names you like the sound of. Cool. Thanks. |

Good for him. Kind of weird that they’re making so many people two-timers, but I guess they wan out of black people to put in.

You pick two guys (one from Raw, one from Smackdown / 205 for WWE. For New Japan they are split into tiers) and if they lose a fall via pin, submission or stoppage they are eliminated from the game. There's also an activity timer so your guys have to keep working matches or they are eliminated after a period of inactivity (three weeks for WWE, six weeks for New Japan).
The game keeps going until there's only one person left and the winner gets an advantage for the following season. |

Holy shit, I had no clue WWE jumped the shark and went all 2000 WCW with the Ronda/Becky/Charlotte stuff. I knew it was getting “too inside.” No buys. Do the kids still say that?
What’s surreal is that this is the main event. I was thinking just the other day about how weird it was that a WWE Title match at Mania featured the challenger being scared of projections on the canvas. Now the story is that everything’s fake. I’ll give WWE a free tip, RP-style, if they want it: If you tell people that this stuff isn’t real, then there’s no point to the conflict. If there’s no point to the conflict, then there’s no point to wrestling. Matt Koon made a tweet or something about Vince Russo getting a job with WWE. I wonder if that’s actually happened. This is straight from his playbook. |

Among the myriad of issues with the whole thing is that she goes on Twitter and makes this personal video where she’s throwing around “shits” and “fucks” to drive home the point that she’s not playing by their rules anymore and they can’t do anything about it... and then she goes on live TV and has to keep it PG. It doesn’t work.
Not to mention, when you’re all done with this attempt to get people to suspend their disbelief, then what? Are you gonna start working every storyline as if it’s all real now or are people just supposed to forget this “all the conflicts are fake” storyline happened? |

For those wanting to recreate Strowman destroying cars routine with your own Strowman action figure, your in luck since WWE currently sells a toy version of the car he destroyed yesterday.
