X-Men First Class - Kinda whatever. It was entertaining enough, but nothing special, no atmosphere and the pacing felt rushed or something nothing really memorable either. I dunno, for every good part/scene there were like 5 dumb ass parts that sucked. Fassbender is a champ though, he'll probably be the new "it" actor for awhile even though nobody will have seen him in Hunger or Fish Tank. 6/10
Tree of Life - Terribly difficult to review but excellent movie. Def Malick's most experimental film but also my favourite of his "new" films. Cinematography is amazing and we get the creation of the universe, dinosaurs, psychedelic microorganisms and of course the nostalgic and personal story set in 1950s Waco Texas. Brad Pitt is good, really embodies that caring but distant feeling we all get from our fathers. I'm sure someone smarter could articulate what they took from this film by referencing Heidegger or other philosophers, but I just enjoyed this daring cinematic meditation on the solitude and meaning of life against the overwhelming backdrop of the creation of the universe. 9/10 |

@PorkSoda - Steve Buscemi is good, that's why. You should check out Boardwalk Empire, HBO series with him as the star. Good stuff.

Green Lantern 5.5/10 Not as bad as critics made out to be, but nothing outstanding. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had 0 chemistry together.

Dial M For Murder - 9/10
This is seriously my first time watching a Hitchcock film. I have lost my Hitchcock virginity. The acting is very top notch and the writing is great. Also, the directing is superb. Good stuff! I NEED TO GO TO THE FRIGGEN MOVIE THEATER! Jeepers...... |

The Mechanic 6/10 - Huge fan of Statham but seriously this was like I wasted 90 minutes of my life with the ending being super predictable..

AvN: Alien vs Ninja - 5/5 This is the greatest movie ever made. You'll know this by the time the alien controlled zombie ninjas start chanting "Fuck you" in unison. The Princess and the Frog - 4/5 I liked it. |

Holy fucking shit... The Thing + Terminator T-1000 + Alien Cthulu squid + Christine + Transformers = This movie... And the ending was a huuuge twist sucker punch as well. One of the best Direct to Video killer car movies ever made if you can get past the cheesy acting and effects.. My fucking god.. Reason why I'm saying those movie references well, go see it. Highly recommended. Oh and some comments say that the director must've been watching that Futurama episode called The Honking.. :P 9/10. P.S. Unless, I'm thinking I'm the only one that likes killer vehicles movie stuff. And the director is the same guy that made the One Missed Call Japanese remake shit... And this trailer doesn't do the full movie some justice. I liked how they avoided showing how the car is a SPOILER: show Last edited by Raven Reaper; 06-27-2011 at 08:32 PM. |

Machete 8/10
Plot seemed a bit lacking, but it's a Robert Rodriquez film starring Danny Trejo. The action makes this movie obviously. Plus you see Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Alba naked. Jeff Fahey did a pretty good job too. Like that guy ever since seeing him as Lapidus on Lost. |

Awake - 4/10
Acting was OK, twist was very contrived, and the fact that he was in anesthetic paralysis really didn't have any play in the plot whatsoever. The "supernatural" stuff was also really silly, especially the main character's interactions at the very end of the movie. Sat through it because I was curious as to how it ended...so I'll give it that. The Hangover - 9.5/10 Fucking hilarious. Can't believe I hadn't gotten around to watching it until now. Zach Galifianakis was hilarious here, and the whole ride was just laugh-a-minute greatness. |

Yes, I'm not kidding I REALLY REALLY mean it.
And to think they're making a remake of REC 2.. Ha, this one was just waayyy off. Even though some passenger was watching news on his laptop. And it showed the scenes from the first Quarantine movie. Thank god, they avoided remaking REC 2 scene for scene. Zombies on a plane anyone? 6/10. |

Hey, I liked this one. I thought the first one was terrible, but this was great. I don't like Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. He talks too fast and makes intellectual points. There's nothing wrong with that, butitsoundslikethisandthewordsarejumbledifhewouldjustslowdownandtalkatanormalspeed Pork would like it more. |

I was talked into one of these Skype/Shitty Film sessions. They say that you should live with no regrets, trying watching that shower of shit and not regretting it.
Despite a full half hour of dialogue I still had no idea what was going on. This pretty much continued the full length of the film (1hr 14mins). At one point a character was "eaten" by another character's asshole and then shat out as a pile of bones and guts. The high point was a topless scene with a girl that was barely decent looking. Jabba owes me 1hr 14mins of my life back/10 |

Transformers 3: Even without Megan Fox, still enjoyed it. It felt out of place of the 1969 Armstrong Moon landing history. This is my first time of seeing a few humans siding with Megatron and Decepticons. What a plot twist. Although I highly doubt there'll be a Transformers 4 since SPOILER: show 8/10. Fuck the critics. I don't give 2 shits if this was a shit movie. Hell, even this year's Oscar movies are not worth seeing all over again. Seriously. Except Black Swan. |
