I actually thought RAW would be good for him, now that SD is so loaded he really could have had a chance to grow into a upper-mid card/main-event heel on RAW.
Prob lost in the shuffle now, but we'll see.

For a short-lived makeshift team, Black and Ricochet did quite well for themselves.
But I'd rather they end on a high note than be weighed down by stagnant Raw tag division booking, so I'm down with them splitting early. |

I assume Ryder and Hawkins will be dropping the belts at the next PPV, if not earlier.
Then they'll join the Ascension, B-Team, and Slater/Rhyno in the burgeoning Main Event tag team division. |

This is probably his last chance to hit it big going solo. We know he can do it. It's a matter if Vince really gives a damn about him. |

Sheamus might just be done altogether. Not only did he recently get a concussion, but he's 41 years old and has been working with spinal stenosis for a year and a half or so.
All things considered, he was clearly working on borrowed time and I feel like they'd have been more likely than not to keep him in a tag team to preserve whatever he has left in the tank. The Bar splitting up might signal the end of the line for him. |

Sheamus was always a solid hand and minus his never-ending feud w/ Del Rio I always enjoyed him. I wish him well and good vibes.

If it’s cos of Fox wanting Latino wrestlers for the market they should have just sent Rey back to Smackdown and kept Andrade on Raw.
I like the Aleister Black trade to Smackdown though , he will work better on there . |

Looking at the breakdown of the rosters that Triple A did then there is definitely space for Black to be a mid card face on the show. Interested to see what they do with Andrade on there, if they want him to be that face for the Latino crowd then that tells me there will be a face turn for him in the near future.

According to Ronda Rousey, her original WWE career plans were to only stick around till November and then leave for a long while to raise a family. After the break, she'd then make a final decision to either continue her career or retire.
Only reason those plans changed were due to WWE rushing to give her the RAW Women's belt last June and promising her a major match as champ at this year's Mania. Everything else remained the same with her taking a lengthy break for family reasons and then considering afterwards if she wants to continue her career or not. Also seems she's leaning on not signing a new deal once her current contract expires in about 2 years. |

I don't know why you'd move Andrade and Rey in the first place. Dumb move.

I was thinking how/if I would use Sasha Banks in AEW, should she get out of her WWE contract. I think it would be a nice twist on things if she wants a job, but Brandi turns her down because they don't like her attitude from WWE or whatever. They accept she's got skill, but AEW is doing fine with the women they have. Sasha's ego takes great offense to this, of course. Then what you get is Sasha being a shit and trying to stir things up in AEW her own way. Buying tickets and shit. Hanging out with Snoop in a sky box.
Eventually you get to this point in the story where Sasha thinks she's so dope, she tries to sleep with Cody and edge something over Brandi. She begins sending Cody pictures of herself and begins to allude to there being something going on, which Cody denies. This is all to get Brandi in the ring and make her see how dominant she is first-hand. And to get her, Brandi needs to offer her a big, juicy AEW contract. Basically it would be kind of like a role reversal swap of Savage/Flair, with Sasha playing the role of Ric and Cody in the Liz role. Sasha is a major shit disturber fucking with a the real boss' marriage. |

Thought I'd re-post this in here since I always seem to post in the Raw thread when things have died down. But for the first time in years I'm actually excited by an episode of Raw and where it could be leading the company.

Apparently both Taker and Angle got pulled from Starrcast II because of WWE's involvement.
According to Conrard Thompson, he offered a compromise where Taker would be allowed for Starrcast 2 and in return, he'd donate 100% of the proceeds from Taker's panel to WWE's Conor’s Cure charity and match it with his own donation. WWE rejected the offer since Vince supposedly isn't fond of Taker marketing himself for non-WWE events. |

Lol Turning down direct money to the charity they created for PR purposes. Conrad needs to guarantee that Saudi-level money straight to WWE’s pockets before Vince will whore out one of his guys.

Why, thank you. I can still muster up some sort of engagement when the situation calls for it. Really pulling for AEW. And they've got a chance, because with only 2 hours, they will be able to focus on threads and give them proper development leading to big shows that feel like they've got a purpose, as opposed to clusters thrown together that stretch into the wee hours of the morning.

If wrestling actually gets some attention in slow news weeks when Smackers moves to FOX and AEW launches, and people want to write about it, then it's going to be pretty easy for journalists to portray AEW as rising babyfaces against the cold corporate empire that secretly still hates its female employees, has a history of racism and tokenism, and accepts sacks of money from the Saudi government while aware that it is tasteless. Some of the smartest things AEW have done are around starting a promotion in the tones that they have. |
