Dumb stat I saw on Reddit:
As of today, the gap between today and the formation of the Nexus is longer than the gap between the Invasion angle and the formation of the Nexus. Time flies. |

What top stars were out? Roman? He was out after Summer Slam and back before Mania. Styles, Rollins, Orton, Ambrose, Bryan were all regularly used right? Lesnar wasn't any less visible than usual. Plus they had Rousey for a year with no health issues, a breakout in Lynch and Charlotte prominently featured. Wtf is he talking about?

Thing is, I find that as a sincere response and yes, whenpeople get worked up, sometimes they say dumb insensitive things. I wonder if people will just label her a homophobe anyways.

Wouldn't be surprised if WWE ends up laying the hammer on the NXT guys she's associated with since their streams sometimes tend to straddle the line or go below it for stuff WWE would be comfortable with. Same for them causing more controversy from the Donovan Dijak Twitter incident.

Apparently there was once a wrestler named "The Champion" in Mid South Wrestling based on some reading about WWE's Hidden Gems addition this week.
Same person who later became one half of the Moondogs tag team as Moondog Rex and as the first "Smash" for Demolition in WWF. |

Cagematch.com had him listed by that name for MSW's Wrestlefest 1985 event which is today's Hidden Gem on the WWE Network.
It was him vs. Wahoo McDaniel for the MSW North American title at the show. https://www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=133091&page=2 |

It looks like he did wrestle a bit as "The Champion". Lol what a weird moniker.

Has to be. I watched the Andrade/Zelina Ride Along last night and he's got barely okay English. I can't imagine that Charlotte's Spanish is that good either, so...

It's like when NXT comes to Detroit. They go to Royal Oak and perform there. It's a smaller venue but the place is filled to the brim and there are no empty seats. WWE would be smart to start having house shows at smaller venues. In terms of TV events, they need to stop having shows at these places where the crowds are dead. I understand that you have to hit a market for your shows, but there are sometimes where Detroit goes: Smackdown Live-House Show-House Show-Raw-House Show-House Show-RAW. There is no reason that a market like Detroit should have two house shows before they have a Live TV event. I'm sure this is prevalent in other cities as well. |

Jim Cornette's 2 part podcast on Montreal is amazing. The second part he does with Meltzer. It's captivating.

Recently read this somewhere and forgot this was actually a thing, but Dean Malenko ranked #1 for PWI's Top 500 back in 1997.

I love Dean Malenko but he just had absolutely no charisma at all. I mean it's the reason masks were invented. He should have had a visual gimmick because I can't remember much besides how smooth he was in the ring.

Thought Malenko showed a surprising amount of charisma when he was doing the "ladies man" gimmick and teaming with Perry Saturn

Not that surprising. Very glad that there's no Baron Corbin in there.
