NBC is launching their own service next year. So in order to watch RAW/SD and PPVs without cable you'd need 3 separate subscriptions (Hulu assuming they stream SD still, NBCs thing for RAW and WWE Network) Suddenly your probably at close to $30 a month to watch WWE and don't have Netflix even. |

So weird...don't think I've ever seen a good arm-wrestling segment in pro-wrestling history....

Just realized that Shane beat Dolph for Best in the World at Crown Jewel soif Dolph were to win the WWE Championship there's a built in program with him and Shane (You might call yourself BITW Cause you beat me back then but you can't beat me now)

Turning someone heel just to instantly turn him face is fucking awful.
Never mind the fact that people generally don’t care about Ziggler anymore. |

I was expecting that to be a joke and for it to be an insomnia medication ad or something.

According to the Observer, Dana Warrior supposedly has been very hands-on with Lacey Evans current push in WWE to the point Meltzer thinks Lacey is Dana's "pet project" in Creative.
Also Vince and Kevin Dunn supposedly were not in charge of WWE's tv shows this week. Quote:

Meltzer HATED Backlund as champ. Superstar Graham did an angle in late 82 where he destroyed Backlund's title on T.V and Backlund cried like when Nancy Kerrigan got her kneecap smashed. Its cringeworthy. |

Oh man. I miss “destroyed title” angles. That shit was great heat back in the day.

I get that the idea is to put the significance and symbolism of the belt over, but reacting so angrily makes no sense. Realistically, the champ would be a bit pissed but they could just get a new one.

I mean, now, fans in the stands shell out money for belts that look better than one an actual promotion might have... but back then, on top of the prestige, there used to be a little more emphasis on how much the titles meant, but also on how much they COST! |

Wouldn't the company just have to pay for it though? Like if Brock came back to the UFC and destroyed Jon Jones title it's not like Jon would have to pay.

Barry Windham also smashed Dustin Rhodes’ US title on a WCW Saturday Night episode back in the early 90s. I’m sure there are more instances. I remember thinking recently about it being done oddly often.

Just came back to post about Valentine doing it.
Also, Nikita Koloff destroyed the US Title like 2 years before Windham did it. |

Seemed like an obvious route. Or burning it. Or at least a chainsaw.
Sadly, even though it was supposed to be an instrument of heat, I really liked the hemp and wood belt better than the actual gold and leather. |

Gaming website Giantbomb just held a final segment for their series of nightly E3 shows that had Kenny Omega and Xavier Woods as the guests.
They played a comedy bit where neither were on the screen at the same time and oblivious to the other being in the same room via shenanigans. Then after Woods left for the last time, it turned into a real interview with Omega discussing games and hyping up both AEW and their upcoming shows. Segment before had Woods with a bunch of other guests discussing E3 games and weird stuff. |
