Probably but whenever PWI makes a joke at someone's expense in their Q&A stuff, they usually are upfront about it and their insult to the person asking.

I still maintain that R-Truth being one of the most entertaining things they’ve got is a problem. I would also watch Iconics porn. Would prefer it to them trying to wrestle.

Kind of feel sorry for Renee because it sounds like she is “broken.” But it’s the whole philosophy around commentary in WWE. She will never get good there, and it’s an issue that she doesn’t know that.

Chris Sabin is teasing that he’s signed with WWE.
Given that he’s 37 years old, I don’t know if he’s signed as a talent or as a coach. |

I've never had anything against Sabin or anything, but as a talent it really felt like he jumped the shark with the TNA Title win. I'm sure he's still really good and can put one foot in front of the other, don't get me wrong.

Apparently an indie company is opening up shop near where I live.
Beyond Wrestling announced they are going to hold live weekly events in Rhode Island starting this October. Might try to go to one of their shows depending on the price and card.

Randy Orton feels like the Nick Kyrgios of wrestling. Despite a somewhat bad attitude (especially in his younger days) and a blaise attitude towards his profession, he's still one of the elite of the elite of the elite. Makes you wonder just how good he could have been if he had the work ethic of a John Cena or a Daniel Bryan for example
I mean, WWE will rewrite history once he's retired that he was a supermassive unbeatable iconic legendstar who changed d'bizness with his ten-star rated matches, but there's been large and repeated periods of Orton's career where he's spent six months dicking around in the midcard on autopilot. |

At this point, he should be lucky if he even has a match. He's just been there (or not even there) for years.

I don't think WWE wants to create mega stars like The Rock and Cena anymore that can fully transition from the ring to Hollywood. Hell Hollywood movies are probably more ad-libs than most of WWE these days. They want guys they can come in and move up.and down when ever they want. Orton's has been that from the his first World Championship. |

In terms of pure talent, Orton legit might be one of the best wrestlers in the world. Everything he does is incredibly smooth, incredibly crisp, and incredibly well-timed. The way he allows a crowd's reaction to build, and then dissipate, only to allow it to start building again, rather than rushing from spot to spot, is almost unique in this generation.
Yet, in spite of all that, he also manages to be an incredibly bland, uninspiring performer so often. Maybe that's "work ethic", maybe it's him not necessarily always getting angles he can get his teeth in to, or maybe it's that when you've been on TV every week for 15 years with limited opportunity or impetus to evolve your character, people will get bored. |

Austin’s interview of Hulk Hogan on his podcast is pretty neat if only because Hogan says he wanted to turn on Warrior at the end of WM6 and say he was “Triple H, Hollywood Hulk Hogan”.
It's a line of shit as it's well known Hogan had to be begged to turn heel even in 1996. So I don’t buy it for a second given the source but I enjoy a good Hogan retcon. |

Yeah, Hogan bullshit stories are the best. I remember him saying in a Stern interview that he was good friends with Lars Ulrich, who wanted him to play bass for Metallica but it didn’t work out. Lars never even knew Hogan. The guy’s definitely a pathological liar but it’s kinda fun to listen to. Lol
