Somebody introduce LJ to the hit show "The Goldbergs". The hotter Michalka is in it.

Latest season of Survivor Japan is starting on Saturday (I guess Friday for the US?). No New Japan knowledge necessary.
If you sign up you'll probably be SANADA's favourite poster in the whole of TPWW. |

Of course since he's usually very protected after the G1 in terms of taking the losses for LIJ in tag matches. I'd be legit surprise if he loses to Bad Luck Fale in his final G1 match.
Would have taken Okada again if the new season started after the G1 Finals since he's likely not taking a fall till next year's Wrestle Kingdom. |

According to the Observer, WWE recently scrapped doing Q&A interviews with kids during commercial breaks as entertainment for live crowds.
Apparently WWE got upset that the kids wouldn't follow their scripted answers and also didn't like kids answering with CM Punk or Jericho for their favorite wrestlers. |

The other one I remember was at the King of the Ring 94 where Todd Pettengill was interviewing the Mayor of Baltimore in the crowd. Todd asks the Mayor who his favourite wrestler was. He replies "Hulk Hogan" lol. Again, the look at the reaction are priceless.

Billy Corgan confirmed reports of NWA currently working on producing a weekly tv series with the first tapings to be held in Atlanta, Georgia on September 30th and October 1st.

Who knows what deal they can get, I'm optimistic though. Corgan will have different connections than most in wrestling.
And to be honest with Stom, Drake and Aldis as the top guys they already have a nitch that the other companies don't. Legit heavyweight wrestlers who can talk and work. Very old school very NWA. The Crockett Cup was really great so I hope they can keep that up without ROH. I also have hope they can get Cornette to do commentary, that is good and makes a lot of thematic sense. Who can they partner with though? |

I could see a crossover event with AEW, both sides know how to make guys look good even with a loss.

The NWA doesn't have anything worth the AEW's time. I remember how Cody was going to bring all this attention to the NWA. That turned out well. They are easily the #6 promotion in the U S

Cody's reign being very brief was also really dumb since that killed off all the interest in the NWA belt generated from All In. They didn't even have a backup plan in place for ROH's MSG show after Cody left to form AEW. |

I think Aldis is perfect for what they've been doing. He's been doing the same thing since he was the GFW World Champion. Now that they have Eli Drake it's only a matter of time until he's NWA World's Heavyweight Champion.

Seems ROH's upcoming UK tour is on track to sell just as poorly as their US shows this year based on recent ticket sales.
As of yesterday morning, the combine total for all three events in the UK this October were 224 tickets sold with their London show doing the best at 92 tickets sold (venue holds 1200).
Voices of Wrestling had a recent article detailing how bad of a decline ROH has been this year with ticket sales to the point they've dropped from being being the #2 promotion in the US last year to now #5 overall based on drawing power. https://www.voicesofwrestling.com/20...ring-of-honor/ |

I'm surprised they are #5 with numbers like that. We get more people in the middle school gym for midsoutheastcentral georgia giant midget wrasslin.
