Those early tombstones were....err..interesting. One hand holding the opponent the other pushing their head into his crotch. Not to mention quite a few seemed botched and they really did get their heads drilled, koko b ware one is a good example of that. |

Surprised this segment at one point didn't turn into a fight between show and rodimer, you can see rodimer intentionally sandbagging the slam but he got heaved up for it anyway, seemed like there was something going on between those 2. Also the reason Nick Mitchell in this gets a slap is because wwe (as usual) edited something out. Mitchell initially took a slam and no sold it by popping right back up and walked upto big show, hence the slap and another harder slam which he stayed down on. That's also why you see show looking over at Snow like he's asking if this moron knows what he's doing. Last edited by Gerard; 09-30-2019 at 12:47 PM. |

According to Fightful, Rush is staying in ROH for at least another year. His current contract didn't expire until early next year but with the CMLL issues, seems he decided to get a new deal done sooner than later.
Also Matt Taven's new contract with ROH ended up being somewhere between 2x to 3x more than what the top stars in NXT earn ($100k range). |

Could be wrong but looks like he’s trying to make sure the dudes head is extra tucked to make sure that he doesn’t actually spike him. But agreed, a few of those...holy shit lmao

Smackdown is starting at 730 Friday with a kickoff show. I can see them saying fuck the local channels showing whatever syndicated rerun sitcoms at 7 to give it 3 hours eventually if ratings are good enough

Yeah.... there is a Smackdown "pre-show" here in Canada by Rogers that has Santino Marella on it..... but Santino is working for Rogers, not WWE

Saying that, hearing CM Punk try to talk positively would be weird.

Add in ROH on Sundays I think, NWA on Tuesdays (via Youtube), AAA on Fridays (via Twitch), and MLW on Saturdays and that covers all the notable promotions that will now air weekly stuff in the US. |

CM Punk will be back. He’s dropped the public feelers. Vince and Hunter will come a-courting.

No doubt. It's war season. WWE has won every war they've ever been in, basically. They will bring out the big guns to slap down AEW and Impact (lol jk). I would love to see Punk back at the end of the draft on Raw, being drafted to Smackdown. Would be a good lead in for the 3rd week. But instead of getting to speak he is interrupted by THE BEST IN THE WORLD... and yeah need I say more?

Chelsea Green is trying out commentary at NXT. Usually when they promote that stuff online it becomes a thing. Kind of sucks because I thought she was really good in the ring and oh so fine.

Over the last couple of years I've been so disinterested in WWE because they have such shit consistency. Obviously I'm a sucker and I won't "give up" on them, so here we go again down another "era" of sorts. But this is actually a new era. There is the competition and then so many alternatives. I'm currently catching ROH every week and really enjoying it. I also anticipate watching Impact when I can, as well as NWA Power... It's just so much! I want to watch MLW as well but honestly I think I may be done with it. It's fun to watch when they go to Queens but I haven't kept up with the TV since WM season because I got tired of watching myself in the front row for like 4 weeks straight lol.
Honestly NJPW really needs to get their shit in gear. I have subscribed and canceled New Japan World because the only use for me is a live programming. The catalog is not English friendly at all. They should really make an effort to employ a team of English or Americans to make New Japan World an app worth buying. I wonder what will happen with NJPW and AXS. I think the deal is up in February next year. Have the made enough of a brand for themselves to land on another worth while network? Will Anthem want to keep NJPW where they are? So much going on in the undercurrent of the WWE changes and AEW boom. I tell you ROH is putting on a good show every week. It's really easy to watch and the wrestling is usually just as good as NXT. And the production is nearly equal to it as well. It has a great vibe to it. They have more "stars" than you'd think when you see them all out there on a show. Rush, Bandido, Taven, Lethal, Briscoes, Shelly, Haskins, PJ Black, Castle, PCO, King, and Scurll. It's like they are missing that one hot talker like they had with Punk. I really don't know who they can find to fill the void but I have faith that they can rise through. The beauty of ROH is that they can survive this period of low attendance because that hasn't been the main source of income for the company since the very early days. ROH has always made money from the DVD's and merch, now the Honor Club and TV deals and an owner with deep pockets. |

In regards to where they would go next, all depends on who would actually be interested since the tv market for wrestling is still pretty weak overall unless your WWE or get really lucky like AEW did with TNT. |

It would be possible you'd think. NJPW on the same channels ROH is on would be a strong move and also we could get more NJPW guys in ROH which would be huge for them right now. |

I think New Japan will end up somewhere else. It depends who they are in bed with when that deal is up. I can see them on a Turner station if they’re with AEW, for example. Showtime and Viceland may be interested. They could end up on a streaming service.
My crystal ball tells me that they are too salty with AEW and the overall product is just too goofy. Even if the deal with ROH runs its course and CMLL are out, I think they are more likely to work with NXT and Triple H. It’s just way more their style. They can finish up Jericho and Moxley at the Dome shows, officially end things with their previous partners, then move into something with NXT. It wouldn’t shock me to see the currently formatted AXS show to end up on the WWE Network or on an NBC Universal channel. |

Lol Fox news has a wrestling ring set up outside and a couple hundred people around it but they tried to do a fire extinguisher demo for national fire prevention month and all the wrestling fans over to the side were changing "burn it down"

According to the Observer, Brock's destruction of Rey and Dominick wasn't meant to be the start of a feud or anything between them but instead just them already starting the build to a potential Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez match.
Velasquez hasn't signed a deal with WWE but the company feels very confident he will do so soon. |

Seems like it would be "ridiculous" for Rey to just "not want revenge". So I guess he'll just come back and be fine with it.

It's weird seeing Impact on AXStv already even if it is 9 months old
It's kind of a cheap shot @WWE they're doing the hype for Bound For Glory in front of the. Staples Center |

Lol the infamous part of the Eli Drake/Abyss monster's ball match where Abyss held his hands together for like a minute for no reason while Elibtried to zip tie his hands together lol. Jesus
Lucha Bros vs LAX from Homecoming on now. Feels like it's promoting AEW Also can't imagine Rhyno and RVD tagging in 2019 at BFG |

Was really sad how they used Eli Drake towards the end. The Abyss match had to be a breaking point.
