Nothing beats the story of him abruptly calling a bunch of creative writers for them to go to his summer house one day to work on some plans.

I can't even fathom how a creative meeting can last until 3 AM. What are they even talking about? There's about 10 minutes of story progression a week. 80% of the roster never have storylines outside of 'developed quite the rivalry'.

And when all's said and done, Vince does what he wants anyway. Wasn't it said a while back they have like 25-30 writing staff, yet in the late 90's there was 3 or 4 "bookers" and it was an infinitely better product.

Apparently Impact Wrestling's All Glory event last night was a disaster in terms of production issues.

Ended up having to stream the show via two phones with the first phone stream hosted by Josh Matthews and abruptly got cut when Matthews needed his phone back for private stuff.

That happens a lot with their Twitch and Impact plus shows. They team up with local promotions and let them cover production for the events. Should probably start using their own production crew for them. Bound for Glory tonight should be fine.

Kinda funny that it is old enough to illicit nostalgia, but still be so small time from all the times they repeatedly stunted their own growth for various reasons over the years. It is a bit unfair to saddle them now with the sins of the past, since it's essentially an entirely different organization MULTIPLE TIMES REMOVED from when it started out with NWA support and Jeff Jarrett to now (they've changed funding sources/ownership about as many times as they've changed networks), but that Vinceism "Perception is reality, pal!" rings true, and Vito is unfortunately correct.

If it does them well, by all means, milk what you can for yourself. If people are willing to throw money at "old school" TNA shirts, get every dime you can. Seems like it shouldn't work, but realistically, there *has* to be a market for it.
