Watching Bret Vs Davey Boy 1995 IYH and Davey keeps licking the inside of his lips and sticking his tongue into his lip.
That's that cotton mouth. Bret delivers a piledriver that Davey's head clearly touches the mat for too. Hmmm. Maybe we should have a thread for spotting fucked up rasslers in. |

Bret goes for that big blood and the ECW guys in the front row start a "he's hardcore!" chant.
Vince doesn't mention the blood until Lawler says it right to him, then Vince says something about hoping the cameras don't do any close ups of Bret. Great match but I'm thinking Vince ain't happy with the gusher. |

A lot of this match is spent split screen with a close up of Diana Hart's face.
Bulldog hits a piledriver and works Bret around the floor then hits a running powerslam outside. Wild match this. This is one of the best matches I have seen for ages. |

Bret wins with a weird hammerlock rollover pin. That was nuts. Great stuff.

Just finished watching this week's NXT UK episode and haven't seen this week's NXT episode yet but skimmed the results.
NXT UK did a way better job overall with the build for Worlds Collide than NXT did these past few weeks. Probably the main reason why there is very little online interest for it and the poor ticket sales since it feels even more throwaway than Survivor Series usually is for brand warfare stuff. WWE made a big mistake half-assing the build since it felt like they never made up their mind on wanting the show to be treated as a major NXT event or just a simple Network special like last year's show was. |

They didn't want a TakeOver stealing the show during Royal Rumble weekend.

That didn't stop them the previous 3 years in a row.
Only reason they didn't do it again for this year was probably just timing issues since WWE didn't want two TakeOvers to happen in a month. |

According to Fightful, Lars Sullivan would have been a big favorite to win this year's Rumble or at least challenge Lesnar for the WWE title at Mania had it not been for his recent knee injury and online controversies.

Is anyone else doing the draft Kings thing for the Rumble? I just got the email about it and the deadline is apparently 7pm tonight.
Among other fun things it has Nia Jax as a pick for the women's rumble, although there are 43 total and it also has Becky, Bayley, Auska, Lacey (would either pull a Brock as champion or a Becky after losing) Ember and Ruby (are they still hurt too?). No Ronda Rousey though, or any legends Men's side you can pick HHH, Taker, Lars Sullivan, Jeff Hardy.. no edge or other legends like Kane. Quote:

I was randomly looking at the WWE roster Wiki page and I saw that Sylvain Grenier has been re-hired by WWE as an agent. That seems very odd to me.

Not me. Just sounds like more toy collecting. I mean, I'm not disparaging the guy. I have no idea what he may or may not contribute to the backstage envoronment. But so long as he doesn't contribute it to any company but WWE is fine by them. |

Rumor going around the net hints that Kevin Dunn is no longer the main director for WWE shows and someone named Michael Mansury has been gradually taking over Dunn's duties.
Basis for the rumor is a recent report from PWI that said Dunn didn't direct last night's Royal Rumble event. The person spreading the rumor has been pretty unreliable at times and recent got debunked hard regarding Kylie Rae's departure from AEW. Managed to even get Voices of Wrestling to bite hard on that rumor and get embarrassed in the process. |

Kevin Dunn stepping away makes sense. Always thought Michael Cole would take over. can we just get wrestling produced like wrestling though, please?

Apparently PWI's report ended up getting taken out of context.
Dunn was in charge of the Rumble production last night and still is the main director for WWE. That other person just takes over from time to time for major shows. The person spreading the rumor online worded it to make it sound like Dunn was barely in charge of shows anymore. Quote:
