The lonely guy - Underrated and absurd Steve Martin comedy about single lonely guys in Manhattan. Loved Charles Grodin in this.

Dark Knight Rises is totally right up there with the other one!!!! Minus the 3rd word. :P Bane's methods are almost as cunning as Ledger's Joker when it comes to taking city hostages and turning it into his own. And I didn't expect a twist there. I never thought he had a "partner." Sorry, can't spoil on that one. There's even a reference to Batman's sidekick Robin.. Man, I never thought his real name other than Dick Grayson.. Ha, again, no spoiler cos well, it's still 3 hours yet I was NEVER EVER BORED. Nolan loves to play emotional endings with a bit of happy face.. Hahahaha. Although it's unlikely Bane will be oscar nominated for best actor. Once again, Nolan knows how to make inception style thrills and viscera to the superhero trends.
As for Anne Hathaway playing Catwoman, it's OK 2nd best... But never thought I'd see the day she'll be channeling Michelle Pfeiffer's femme fatale kick-ass and even gets to ride Batman's biker.. 10/10. |

American Reunion - 7/10
Some pretty hilar moments with Eugene Levy and I love Seann William Scott with a burning passion. Anyways I liked it well enough and think it was a nice ending. Goon - 9/10 Again I love Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy. Allison Pill was wonderful and I found her super attractive. Really well done movie. And yay hockey. |

The Dark Knight Rises-10/10 Amazing and by far the most suspenseful emotional ending of the trilogy.

So I'm just back from seeing The Dark Knight Rises.
I wasn't really planning on seeing it as I rarely go to the cinema and I'm not really a big fan of Batman, but the film was actually very good. I really enjoyed it. I'd give the film 9/10. |

Also, I don't really find Anne Hathaway attractive, but she had a fantastic ass in The Dark Knight Rises.

Watched these over the past 2 weeks....
The Incredible Hulk - 8/10. Edward Norton doesn't play a good Hulk, but great movie otherwise. A LOT better than the Bana version. This Means War - 4/10 Eye See You/D-Tox - 4/10. Stallone film. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World - 0/10. I'd rank this in the negative category. Fucking terrible. I already told yall about it in the 100K forum. Tears Of The Sun - 6/10. Made me depressed during the end with the shootout and sad music. Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow - 4/10. Two Lovers - 8/10. A Gosh Dang rollercoaster of emotion. Reminds me of a time in my life which can be discussed upon request. The Dark Knight Rises - 10/10. I liked The Dark Knight better, but I did think this was epic. I think everything that has to be said about this has been said. |

The Amazing Spider-Man - Solid 4/5 Finally got around to seeing this and I'm so glad I caught in theaters even though I had lower expectations going into it must say I really enjoyed it. Without going into too much detail to avoid spoilers I must say that it was better than Raimi's in certain aspects. That's not too say that it's better overall the story felt deeper in some regards and the visuals were great but somehow it just didn't quite have that epic feel to it. In fact I felt a little almost too sci-fi but in the same token at least it was a little more grounded rather than over the top. Garfield does a good job as Spider-Man but I didn't care for him as much as Peter Parker but that could be since he was portraying one of the more recent incarnations of him.

Been meaning to see this for ages, finally got around to it. First recent film for a while I've seen with Nic Cage in it that's not seemed awful. |
