I like that. Let the live crowd see him but keep his TV appearances special. Promoting him for TV every week might give a small ratings boost but this is better long-term for the overall product.

It’s a very non-Vince thing to do nowadays though. Odd.

I guess they don’t want to feature him in a match, and having him cut the same (awful IMO) “shoot” promos every week would also get stale quickly. I quite like that they have Balor setup as Roman’s “TV programme” as long as it’s setting up those two for post-SummerSlam.

It's kind of crazy how many mega stories have taken place in wrestling the past few years but right now has got to be one of the tops. WWE potentially preparing for a big sale down the road, releasing 119 talents since 2020. A new league rising up and being able to survive a year long pandemic with no live audiences, now signing name talent from WWE.

I'm guessing that was a botch? Since goldberg came back a few years ago they're always firing his pyro off before he gets there so he's only in it a few seconds. And it still looks shit compared to the wcw version.

The Roman thing was their own fault, though. From a lot of backstage rumors, he's apparently a really nice guy, and he's obviously down to do whatever dumb shit they write for him, but if he didn't look the way he does (read: tall) he would have been housecleaned a few WrestleMania's ago and nobody would've cared.
