I was just on the WWE roster page and saw that apparently Jimmy Yang and Petey Williams work for the company as agents? I don’t know why, but that seems odd to me. Still, the weirdest one is them hiring Sylvain Grenier to be in that position.

That’s what I *kinda* figured, but it seems WAAAAY too much.

He was hired at the beginning of 2020. I find it pretty coincidental that the 2020 Rumble was one of the better booked ones in a while. Thought it may have been payment for Pat getting his hands in there, but apparently that was mainly a Brock, Heyman, Lance Storm and Jamie Noble.

I dunno. Just weird to think of Sylvan advising people on how to structure their wrestling match. I guess there are other things agents can do/are responsible for.

I’m not interested in WOW, per se, but I do find it interesting that Viacom is throwing it’s hat into the wrestling game. I do wonder what moves, if any, they will make in early 2022, and whether or not there is any interest in a men’s program to go along with it.

Cornette’s idea for the NXT time slot was basically my suggestion. Scrap NXT (or put it on Hulu or the Network exclusively) and use the 2-hour Tuesday slot for a Raw vs. SmackDown program. Or at least something using main roster talents in ways you wouldn’t usually see on Raw and SmackDown.

NXT is just not helping anyone right now. It can be restricted programming and exist and be whatever, but it’s on basic cable.
