Kevin Busch speaks on M-A-G’s retirement
Reported by Mike Rotch Kevin “Big Vito” Busch was just as shocked as anyone else when he learned that M-A-G would be retiring. However, his shock reached all new levels when he was informed that he’d be taking over after SummerSlam. Kevin Busch stated: “When I first heard of the retirement, I didn’t know what to think. Here’s a guy who turned me from an indy worker into a 2-time Intercontinental Champion and a 4-time Tag Team Champion. He’s made a virtually countless amount of stars, and in his 20+ year reign as owner we’ve seen more than 25 different WWE Champions. He was a great pioneer, and for him to hand all of his power over to me is truly an honor.” Busch continued, “I understand that many may be worried about the certainty of them still having a job when I come into power. I’d just like all of the talent to know that everyone will get an equal chance. It’s up to them to run with the ball that I give them. MY own personal bias will not come into play.” We will report more information as we receive it. Credit: www.wrestling-heat.com Last edited by Evil Vito; 05-24-2004 at 11:37 PM. |

I started a game with FWA last night...it wasn't pretty
They don't seem to make much money, or be able to get sponsors I might download TEW Zone tonight to see if it's better than Rave X. |

On the main screen, click "Television". Then on the right side under "Overall Controls", click "Send Out Promo Tapes". Then chose a channel to send promo tapes to. If they want a show then you'll get an email at the begining of next month. Make sure you chose a channel that fits your risk level and everything though.

I just downloaded EWR yesterday (finally!), took over MLW, and turned it into ECW.
I fired all the non-ECW talent (except the Maximos, 'cause Mikey Whipwreck threatened to walk out if I let them go), and signed as many ex-ECW free agents as I could (except Shane Douglas, 'cause no one likes him and John Kronus, 'cause Perry Saturn doesn't like him). WWE released a lot of talent, so I picked up Lita (Miss Congeniality), Nova, Jazz, and a couple of others. My World champ is Raven, TV is Steve Corino, and Simon & Swinger are the Tag Team Champions. This game is so addictive... *Edit* Went for Chris Hamrick, too, but EZ Money advised against it. And, I gotta say, I know where my priorities lie. Last edited by loopydate; 05-28-2004 at 01:11 PM. |

I started a new game last night with an organization that has only a cult following and 20% public appearance. I picked up a couple "heard of" names....Paul London, Garrison Cade, Mark Jindrak, and Scott Hall. Hall's my biggest draw right now, and I've been having him feud with Paul London for about two months now. They've actually been working really well together. That feud has more heat than anything else right now. The funny thing is, I thought about getting Jeff Hardy just for drawing power, and the bastard told me that I wasn't worth his time. Freaking prema donna......When I get big I'm gonna pick him up and make him a jobber. Wait...... I mean I'll have him take sick bumps every night. Wait...... I mean I'll underpay him so much he'll get hooked on drugs. Wait...... I mean I'll, oh forget it.

How do I get the wrestler's pictures? It'd be easy enough to search for the WWE guys, but the smaller names would take forever. Are there any picture packs out there?

No problemo.
What did you do before that made you start losing money? Whenever I first start out w/ WWE most of my profits come from other places. I could cancel SD and Heat and still make 6-7 mil. a month. |

I dunno...
That time was when I was still a noob in EWR... Maybe it was the lack of sponsors for WWE? By the way, which columnist is the best for match reports? They all seem to have differing views on matches... |

The Dames is really strict.
Scott Keith is generous and nice almost to a fault. The others I haven't tried too much. The match ratings and number of stars will always be the same so it just depends on how you want your matches critiqued. |

The Rock vs Chris Jericho.
Match Background: None. The Match: Rock slams Chris Jericho. Rock charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Chris Jericho connects with a back heel kick on Rock and gets back up quickly. The referee bumps after catching a wild right hand and is down. Vicious kick to the teeth from Chris Jericho. Pinfall attempt, but the ref is out and can't count to three! Chris Jericho gets taken down out of nowhere! The Rock with a spinning neckbreaker on Jericho. Jericho walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. There's a two count on the pin. The Rock scores with a big spinebuster. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! The Rock gets taken down out of nowhere! Spinning bulldog in the corner and Rock is down! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! The Rock fights out of a grapple. Chris Jericho is in trouble. Rock Bottom!!! That shook the ring. Kurt Angle slides into the ring out of nowhere! Rock takes a stiff punch to the face and falls to the canvas. The referee calls for the DQ as Kurt Angle continues to attack Rock. Kurt Angle remains in the ring. Chris Jericho pushes the referee away. Chris Jericho spins Angle around. Chris Jericho hits the Triple German Suplex! Dames's Opinion: A ***3/4 rating! Yay! Sad to say, that was the best match for WWE Smackdown. |

Won't be able to check 'em out for about another 24 hours though, as I'm at my dad's. |

Are there any recent patches for EWR (rosters, pix, etc.), or has everyone totally abandoned it in favor of TEW?

The last update I got for EWR came out shortly after Bradshaw became John Bradshaw Layfield. I got it off of ewadditions.com but apparently that site is no longer going. I'll see if I can track it down somewhere else.

Smackdown, September 4 2025 notes:
-At the start of the show, Kurt Angle set up a 20-Man Battle Royal as the main event of the evening. The winner would not only be named number 1 contender to Goldberg's WWE Title at Unforgiven, but next week they'd also be allowed to choose the stipulation for the match -Mark Mason and Simon Diamond successfully defended their respective titles -The Ameri-French Connection got a cheap win over The Thug Life Soldiers -Goldberg defeated Reaper in a match, and stated that he didn't care who he had to face at Unforgiven -The winner of the battle royal ended up being Chris Sylvain, meaning that at Unforgiven, we'll see Goldberg and Sylvain collide in a re-match from Summerslam |

Raw, September 8, 2025 notes:
-Vixxen costed Nicole Durgan her match against Oracle -Jason Cross and Sean Criss wrestled to a double count out, a re-match has been signed for next week's Raw -Test was seen walking around backstage. He physically seems well after getting knocked out from a falling object last week, but something is mentally wrong with him, as he was alking around mindlessly -In the evening's main event, AJ Styles and The Uprising defeated Brian York and 24/7 under cheap circumstances (Styles rolled up York for the pin, but he hooked the tights) Smackdown, September 11, 2025 notes: -At the start of the show, Chris Sylvain announced that his match against Goldberg for the WWE Title at Unforgiven would be a Hell In A Cell Match. He then squeezed out a cheap win over Rayne -Mark Mason successfully defended his Cruiserweight Championship against Tempest, afterwards, Tempest got pissed and challenged Mason to a re-match at Unforgiven. Mason accepted -Sean Casey defeated Simon Diamond in a non-title match. They shook hands afterwards, and it seems as though a friendly rivalry has developed between them -The tensions in the tag team division are running wild. The Yakuza ran out during a non-title match between The Real Deal and The Ameri-French Connection and they costed TRD the match. Afterwards a 3-team brawl ensued, and the Thug Life Soldiers ran out as well, making it a 4-team brawl. How will the chaos in the tag team ranks be settled? -John Cena shocked the world. He and Ron Killings were facing Kevin Daniels and Derek Standish in a tag match. In mid match, Cena turned heel on his partner, giving Daniels and Standish the upset victory. Afterwards Cena continued to viciously assault Killings, so badly that 2 days later it was announced that Killings had severely fractured his leg and he would be sidelined for a full year. -Goldberg faced Chris Carvill in the evening's main event. Sylvain tried to interfere and give Carvill the upset victory, but the interference was botched and Goldberg got the victory. After, Carvill and Sylvain both mauled Goldberg until Rayne rushed out for the save. |

Raw, September 15, 2025 notes:
-Nicole Durgan got a clean win over Vixxen, it was a non-title match though -Sean Criss got the victory over Jason Cross in their re-match, however Criss had to cheat to do it -We had an interview with M-A-G and his client, Test. We were hoping to get an update on Test's condition: M-A-G: I have an announcement, as much as I hate the idea, my client, formerly known as Test, now wants to be known as Eugene. Eugene: YAY! YAY! YAY! *jumps up and down clapping* *does a bunch of gyrations and sound effects* M-A-G: It appears as though Eugene wants a match tonigh who do you want to face, m'boy? Eugene: Uhh.....uh......uh......GOLDBERG! M-A-G: Five minutes later, and the match was already over. Eugene got totally squashed to the point where M-A-G had to come into the ring to assist Eugene after the match. -Brian York sucessfully defended the Intercontinental Title against Jason Collins. He won after an AJ Styles interference screw-up. |
