WWE’s belts have history behind them, so you can almost excuse them out of nostalgia. I’d rather just one that floats. But even Gunther feels somewhat trapped by the IC Title. He might feel more important if he were just going into Mania to beat the shit out of Drew and Sheamus. If he won that match, he could go against Cody in the near future. Or Brock. But he kinda has to lose first for those things to open up.

i've always liked the idea of being able to "cash in" a secondary title for a shot at the world title for that reason.

The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson/Rip Fowler and James Drake/Jagger Reid) have apparently asked for and been granted their release from NXT.

Gedo really doesn't seem to give a fuck about tag wrestling but in theory that's a team I think could do a lot to help freshen up the NJPW tag division.
