Oldboy (US) - 6.5/10 - this was so batshit insane and stupid I actually enjoyed it. The henchmen fighting sequence was so bad I rewatched it like 6 times for laughs.
Captain America: Winter Soldier - 9.5/10 - my second favourite MCU film, right after Avengers. |

Lucia - Indian film about lucid dreams. Pretty good, low budget and some cheesy parts but good story on the whole. Would be great for a Hollywood remake, even if it is a bit "Vanilla Sky" anyway.
Oculus - pretty good horror film. Not overly reliant on cheap jump scares, lots of well shot scenes. Watched mostly for Karen Gillan and Katee Sackhoff but also NATHAN SCOTT FROM HOT TEEN DRAMA, ONE TREE HILL WAS IN IT. Also my favourite Internet poster ever, Raven Reaper, enjoyed it. |

Taken 2 - 4/10 - Wow, this sucked. I wasn't expecting a great plot or anything, but how come the fighting scenes were so fuckin' bad compared to the first one? It felt more like some shitty, low budget direct-to-video sequel starring Kevin Sorbo.

Maleficent - Magnificent. 10/10.
It is a movie something Guillermo Del Toro and Peter Jackson wouldn't stop talking about it after watching. Wow! My childhood is intact! |

Escape Plan - 7.5 - That was surprisingly good. Pretty funny seeing Stallone as a brilliant guy, ex-prosecutor, too.

Could've been better as a video game than a movie! Other than that, The aliens reminded me alot of Matrix. Felt like Starship Troopers by way of Inception by way of Groundhog Day etc... Fun sci-fi flick. Had its funny moments of "respawning" logic in a game-ish movie that you can't seem to play at all. 8/10. |

More like Spit on your Grave By way of Evil Dead with a dead Apache Indian warrior.. Unlikely ally for a girl who gets raped by redneck dudes who were also responsible for slaughtering Apache Indians back in the day.. Talk about doubling the thirst for vengeance. The heroine really does a good job of making Katniss and Xena Warrior Princess looked fucking tame and pale in comparison to her combat fatality skills with gore effects that'll make every Mortal Kombat fan would love to see! She'd probably make Scorpion from MK totally proud of her decapatation of heads, intestines etc.. Hell, this is even more brutal than the fighting scenes of last of the mohicans when it comes to gory ass body counts in this one. 9/10. P.S. One of the redneck dudes looked like Daryl Dixon! |

Django Unchained-9/10
God I loved this movie. Every moment. As hilariously violent as I found the action, I felt that anytime Mr. Waltz was on screen, the movie was in high gear. Only thing keeping it from a 10 is the fact that Dr. Schultz died, damn it. Also, Sam Jackson is the best Uncle Ruckus ever. |

Hunger Games: Catching Fire-8/10
Liked it a lot. Felt a little long, but I watched it late, so that was likely attributing. Really enjoyed this far more than the first, mostly due to the fact that the tournament was second fiddle, and the characters were more fleshed out, as well as the political aspects of the film were dug into more. Donald Sutherland was the fucking man in this movie. I don't know he seemingly gave up as he got older in terms of what he was willing to do, but I loved his work in this film. Good stuff. |

My only complaint about this fatalities galore that'll make Mortal Kombat look like a PG cartoon, is the badly English Dubbed version of this... And the antagonist reminded me alot of Bruce Campbell's Ash!!! he looks and talks like him in dubbed version. Other than that, I agree with the review saying, "What if the Godfather and Departed plus Bloodsport had a child, it'd be this movie." P.S. Hammer Girl was the highlight for me in the late 2nd half! She's totally right up there with Thurman's The Bride in Kill Bill or Go Go Yubari! 9/10. |

At shopping malls where they have local theaters, silly!
Finished The Omen Trilogy on a DVD Box set that has 4 discs but The Omen 4 wasn't included only the 2006 remake of it.. And, The Shining. 9/10 for both. |

Yep and here's another one:
Glee + School of Rock + Scream/Saw-ish masked killer = This movie. Plot twist: SPOILER: show Best part was the singing of the kids while the killer screaming his own song inside his hideout telling them to stop in a metal rock theme that'd make Meat Loaf himself proud. And yes, Meat Loaf was also the highlight of singing along with the kids in this movie. Sure, most reviews say it was total shit and doesn't deserve to be alongside classic musicals like Rocky Horror Picture Show, Little Shop of Horrors or any Phantom of the Opera musicals being remade to death. But hey, the rendition singing of the killer's theme and the mayhem gore galore behind it worked like poetry in motion. And they even pulled a Carrie in the final moments of the movie... Yes, the bloody bucket! 7/10. |

Raven Reap Ya can attest to this, but over where he lives it's pretty easy and cheap to get trashed and have your way with whomever. That's his thing, he watches movies and reviews the hell out of them while probably getting dome from a fellow citizen. It's 45% cray cray
