If you silly people will go and see a Michael Bay film, you only have yourself to blame.

I'm on vacation and no problem losing a few brain cells and hours. No harm no foul.
Had no intention of seeing Earth to Echo or Turbo with a bunch of children this morning. |

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 10/10.. Caesar, Koba and company totally outshined the human actors even Gary Oldman himself!!!

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 8/10
Serkis did a pretty great job; the human characters were all but non-existent. |

I thought somebody might take umbrage with that score. Don't get me wrong, from a technical standpoint it's a 10/10. I just wasn't a fan of the story/tone.

Nymphomaniac Vol 1 and 2 - As a whole, 7/10, it felt like a British indie version of American Pie yet in a more serious tone and subtle black comedy.
Bonus part was Rammstein's song to the end credits! |

Snowpiercer - Full of plotholes but full of entertainment as well. Really enjoyable.
Stoker - Had a really good "atmosphere" and was really well shot, but the plot's a bit dull. The Conjuring - Alright, but absolutely nothing that hasn't been done a million times. Man of Steel - Shite. |

Batman: Assault on Arkham. 10/10. kick-ass anime movie.. With bits of nudity from Killer Frost and Harley, a few curses and a middle finger, very rare for it to be adult themed despite it's a cartoon..
Some of the villains seemed new to me: King Shark, Capt. Boomerang, and Black Spider. I marked out when I found out Jennifer Hale's voicing Killer Frost on this one despite she even voiced her in the Injustice game. I just imagined Femshep's renegade attitude on Mass effect too! Hah. |

The Expendables 3 - loved it/10
giving it a rating would be wrong, hardly meant to be looked at alongside The Shawshank Redemption. Loved it, better than 1 & 2. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Antonio Banderas steals the film. |

The Way Way Back - v good. Better than I was expecting, but I love coming of age movies. They get me every time. Preferred Steve Carell in this than anything else I've seen him in. Plus, Sam Rockwell's in it so it's always going to entertain in some way.
