Yeah man, he fucking brought that role to life. He did very, VERY well and I don't feel like there's been a more accurate on-screen depiction of The Punisher.


Wonder why DC never went with the super villain "The Pun" to join the likes of "condiment man" and the ilk.

The two strongest IPs Marvel has is Spider-Man and the X-Men. Spider-Man is obviously controlled by Sony. Disney spent 71.3 billion to aquire the X-Men. Anyone who who suggest rebranding their strongest controlled IP should not be making any decisions especially given Disneys sizable financial woes.


More shakeups to come for Marvel and Lucasfilm though. With a bit a of luck people who like the source material will be hired. That would be a boon.

To be fair, it's not like Marvel themselves weren't aware of the "issue", such as it is.



If nothing else, it's funny when they reference it for a bit of meta-humor. Deadpool's speech to his team in his second movie also brings it up. There are always people who aren't going to "get it" so you might as well have fun with it, I suppose. Of course, they could've avoided the whole "problem" by just going with "The Mutants" from the get-go.

Does it have a release date yet? I read the show runner saying he was actively wanting people who were fans of the source material after how the netflix witcher writers were reported to have disdain for the books and they gave me sone optimism
