This Raw after Wrestlemania 14 has really shitty matches so far. Squash match between LOD and Los Boricuas followed by a squash match between Kurrgan and Chainz of the DOA. Today's match quality is sooooooooo much better than the beloved Attitude Era.

All the characters having direction means a lot more than all the matches being technical masterpieces.

Thats what made the era so great. Wasn't the cursing or the edginess per se...it was that everyone had creative direction. You legit didn't know who was going to win the Rumble, or KOTR, etc. |

Del Rio managed to get his no compete clause tossed out after legal threats. Supposedly the clause would not hold in court but because wrestlers are more worried about possibly being blacklisted by the WWE, its never been really challenged until now.

Also, I don't believe that Cena beating Lesnar is actually even an option but damn, the internets are gonna be awesome if it happens.

I thought Dixie landed pretty hard on that table spot, but I didn't realize she was actually injured.

They probably still won't let Smackdown matter.

Smackdown might get better. The former head writer of Smackdown might get better.

i'm hoping for both. of course the smackdown dude still has to deal with the scraps of raw, so we'll see what he can do with that.

Smackdown did get a bit better once he arrived for a while before going back to the usual neglected or RAW recap focused show. |

On paper it should be a great move but wouldn't be surprised if the new head guy struggles just like the former one. Only real benefit is at least Smackdown doesn't suffer as much from the constant rewrites like RAW does. |

If they go with Cena wins then cash in loss same night, there probably won't be much complaining until Cena beats Rollins in the rematch. The only upside would be the potential for Rollins/Ambrose HIAC for the belt, but Im betting its Rollins/Cena instead.

Why do they complain about Brock being a part time champ when Hogan only competed in SNMEs, PPVs and rarely on House Shows?

I don't know who "they" are.... but perhaps because the events are 20 years apart and times, expectations, culture, etc... have changed.

Its not like the Champion wrestles on every single show anyway. The only difference is they usually are at least there to cut a promo. Paying Lesnar to show up and cut promos (which he sucks at) is stupid since they can use Heyman. Ultimately I don't have a problem with Lesnar as champion, it elevates the belt and PPVs..

Supposedly one of the scripts for the past RAW was recently leaked. The biggest changes between that version and RAW shown included Ceasro pinning Sheamus in the tag match and the Bellas segment having different stuff done.
http://imgur.com/a/6CXSR Also means RAW went through at least a minimum of 4 versions before the WWE settled on what got shown. |

The Rock has an interesting stance when it comes to Shawn Michaels. He doesn't care about facing him. I would like to get some more insight on the subject.

There's some heat between them from when Rock debuted. Think Michaels kinda shit on Rock at the time.

Yeah from what I recall its a lot deeper than that. Something about Michaels trying to bury him early on, but Bret kinda being the saving grace, hence why Rock uses the sharpshooter as homage. Then some deal about Shawn disrespecting Rocks mom at a territory some time before the Attitude Era. Apparently they made amends in 2008.
