Finished season 2 of the Good Place which was fine. Starting season 3. Maya Rudolph! Always a treat. Still just ok with this show though.

I don’t dislike it. If I wasn’t into it I’d stop watching.

Brideshead is some quality television, even though it is 40 years old.

Was basic and watched Schitt's Creek with the lady. Was honestly really, really good. Bout to start Cobra Kai, late to the party.
Also watching Young Rock. |

Schitts Creek looks fucking terrible.
BUT O'Hara and Levy know what's up comedically. Shame they included other actors really. |

you're cray cray. Levy's real life son and the daughter are great. The breakout star is the chick that plays Stevie. PLUS Chris Elliot.

Depends on if they shove it in your face how "woke" and "progressive" they are, or if it "just is".

Vic Mackey's wife is ruining every scene she is in FFS.
The single worst actress in history. Well done. |

Why even say that when I'm clearly still watching it?

Walton Goggins has also been poor in this.
The broad he knocks up is shit too. It isn't full of great performances, it's relying on a handful. Last edited by Seanny One Ball; 06-05-2021 at 04:27 AM. |

I just finished season 2 of The Outpost; on the one hand it is kind of naff, but on the other hand it is entertaining. I'll watch season 3 once it is available on Prime.
I'm currently on the first season of S.W.A.T., which I think was previously a tv show in the 1970s and later a film with Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Farrell. This version has been adapted by Shawn Ryan (The Shield). I'm about 7 episodes in and it is cheesy and a bit preachy, but I'm hoping it is going to settle down and be a solid show. I feel like I'm about ready to move on to a different streaming service for a while, either Netflix again or perhaps try Disney+. I've pretty much watched all the quality tv shows that Prime has to offer. |

Shawn Ryan is a complete hack.
I'm still watching The Shield but mostly out of a sense of duty. Season 4 is a massive drop in quality. |

It picks up again in Season 5 with the introduction of Lt. Kavanaugh (Forrest Whittaker), but it also sees an increase in the screen time of Mackey's wife.

There's good stuff from Anthony Anderson here but it's lost in the mire.
Glenn Close is oddly out of her depth in this format. Goggins just isn't Goggins in this at all. |

Vic's daughter is actually so bad that it worries me they didn't make her the autistic one. That is truly baffling.
Vic's wife hasn't annoyed me since I started skipping her scenes. Her face is awful though. |

Season 5 of The Shield is back to being brilliant.
Vic's wife seems to be not as bad now. Maybe someone figured out her range. Forest Whitaker bringing some serious chops to the table... Fucking quality gig. Last edited by Seanny One Ball; 06-05-2021 at 04:28 AM. |

The actor that played Julien is in prison for 40 years to life for shooting his wife dead.

Finished season 2 of SWAT; man, the show is so preachy with its moralising and social justice, but it is very watchable.
I've also finished The Looming Tower, which is a mini-series drama revolving around the interagency distrust and conflict between the CIA and the FBI, and how it led to 9/11. A very good programme; check it out. Last edited by El Vaquero de Infierno; 03-30-2021 at 04:09 PM. |

Watching City on a Hill
It’s Kevin Bacon with a 90s haircut and cop stache being crooked with the booger sugar in Massachusetts. It’s pretty bad/good. |

I finished my rewatch of Scrubs (minus season 9 - that season does not exist, as far as I'm concerned). Season 6 was a bit iffy, but seasons 7-8 were solid, though nowhere near as good as seasons 1-3.
I'm going to give Parks and Recreation a try, though I've read the first season is rather naff. |
