I like the Network for NXT and Monday Night War recaps. All of the PPVs are nice to put on when doing stuff around the house. I got Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble on PPV so working this into my budget didn't cause any stress.

Honestly, I can see why HHH is frustrated with fans and decided to push the whole thing down our throats. No other sport or entertainment genre offers anything as good as what they do for the price. And if you don't want to get locked in to 6 months of the rediculously high priced network, you can pay an extra $2 for ONE MONTH, still get all the content, and save 40 odd dollars on a PPV cost. I just don't see why people can't see the benefits to this.

Way I see it, if you stream everything, you shouldn't have a voice to complain about the product. Even if they did everything you wanted and turned into smarkworld, you still wouldn't pay for it.

For one, I am in Canada, and do not have access to the WWE Network, as it is Rogers Communication clients only, which is not available where I am, so as a matter of fact, I payed 55 dollars for NoC. Raw is also on a pay channel which guess what, I also pay for. So you can stop acting all high and mighty because you think you are the only one who pays for things, you're not. I would be a subscriber to the network hands down if available to me, but that's me. The fact that the poduct is shit does matter, and seems to me lots of people have stopped watching. Thus Raw numbers, and network numbers are shit. The stuff you said is absolutely true, all the old content is amazing, no doubt about that, but because of the state of the current product, no one will spend the money to buy it. That's a fact.

The problem I'll have with the Network when it eventually arrives here is simple; time difference.

It'd be great to have access to the PPVs every month and £10 (presuming the price) is a bargain, however, I still wouldn't be able to watch live at 1am as I have work at 7am on a Monday. Therefore I'd be watching on Monday evening...as I do now through a streaming site where I don't have to pay. That site also uploads all of the Network exclusive shows/specials and the weekly TV shows that the Network doesn't cover. Essentially I'd be paying £120 for a legit source for my wrestling viewing that I don't have to.

Know, if that site were to close...different story.

lol how was I being high and mighty? And I never once insinuated I was the only one who pays for content. You made the call though that nobody wanted the network because the product is shit, pretty simple.

I was simply pointing out that just because the product might not be at its all time greatest, and let's be honest, it will never peak at the way it did in the late 90's ever again, there is still pretty of other good reasons to get it, and it's cheap. That's why I quoted prices. I can't see why people would complain about 6 monthly payments of $9.99 and then pay $54.95 for a PPV.

And also, me being in Australia, month one of the network cost me AU$10.77, and this month has cost me AU$11.07. And like I said, I'd happily pay double that a month if not more for everything included on the network.

So now, get off your pedistal and don't argue with your King ever again son.

I love the " Stop Fucking Watching" response.

If you haven't noticed the ratings lately, people have stopped watching. I for one will never stop watching, I will never stop spending the 50 or 60 on each PPV, however, when I spend my money, and the shit they put on doesn't satisfy me, I will bitch.

Pefect example, Jericho attacked by Orton, injures is knee. Match is made for NoCs. The video hyping the match clearly is stating the story of this feud Is Jericho's knee injury. Does Orton work the knee? Nope, not once.

Now was it a shitty match? No, in my opinion it was the second best on the card behind Cesaro and Shamus, however the story of the feud and the story of the match were no where near the same.

Then we have the main event, which ends in a DQ. Now if this does not end up with Cena vs Lesnar in Hell in a cell, then it just looks like they just threw the DQ in there just because they couldn't have cena lose again. if it ends with a hell in a cell, then I have no problem. However, why does Rollins attack a heel? I understand he has the brief case, however, you do not have a heel attack a heel, it's common sense. Then on Raw they don't say anything about it? No Heyman even. So are we supposed to forget that happened, and assume Lesnar is going to let Rollins off the hook?

These are just two examples. There are many more.

Not attacking you here at all, you know I love you XL.

But imagine if everybody streamed, and nobody paid for content. WWE would lose a lot of revenue, and the company would eventually go bust.

Again, it's something that I don't understand. If we all live wrestling, and WWE in particular so much, why do we not want to do the right thing and pay for the entertainment?

You guys will probably think I'm crazy, but if I really enjoy a PPV, I still buy the Blu-Ray or DVD, even though it's on the network, on demand. And I purchase all Documentaries etc they release also. Well, the majority of them anyway.

One thing fans who are complaining about the Network don't get, WWE isn't going back to PPV. The PPV business is dying, sans people who pay to see Mayweather fights. Year over year people were buying less, so WWE had to up the price. WWE also only netted 40% of the PPV revenue, the other 60% went to the cable/satellite companies.

We all know this, you don't have to point it out to me. But seriously, if it bugs people so much that they feel the need to get on a forum and complain week after week after week..... Wouldn't you just stop? Or accept it for what it is at the current time and suck it up?

There's nothing wrong with being frustrated and venting from time to time, but if you're at that point where you just simply have nothing good to say, I'd be taking a break from watching for a while.

If you buy a minimum of 2 PPVs per year, there is zero reason to not order the network. I think network is great. There is no one else offering this for their product, be it sports or sports entertainment, or even most entertainment.

Have they said it'll be the same as the US version, I thought they'd just signed a deal with Sky to up the number of PPVs on Boxoffice, can't see them being happy.

Here's where PG era hurts..I think a good portion of WWEs audience is parents of kids who watch. The parents never ordered PPVs before on a regular basis and the kids could care less about stuff that happened a year ago, much less 20 years ago. This nullifies the networks two main selling points.

That's probably a big reason why almost all the pre-launch hype was towards the Attitude Era and the older crowd for the Network. All the estimates about fanbases hinted the older and lapsed fanbases being the groups who would carry the Network.

If other PPVs are selling less it's not because the PPV business is dying... it's because they aren't able to sell PPVs with the state of the current product. If the product gets better and ratings start to soar then PPV buys go with it. It's that simple. It's not PPV's fault.

Living on the west coast, I used to get WCW Saturday Night from 3:05-5:05 pm and maybe it's just a nostalgia thing but I enjoyed the feeling of watching wrestling at that time.

You're absolutely right on all counts. I'm not defending my theft of the WWE product, and I won't go with the old pretense of "I'd pay if the product was better".

For me it's simply a matter of cost. Having Sky with the sports package costs £46 a month + a PPV fee (£15 I think), I simply don't have £60+ per month of expendable income to pay for the WWE product (that I wouldn't be able to watch live). The only other thing I'd watch on Sky would be Game of Thrones, which runs for 10 weeks a year, and the occasional soccer game (some of which you need an additional pay channel to view).

The idea of the Network allowing me to watch all of the first-run WWE content for under a tenner was revolutionary, alas the Network doesn't show Raw/SmackDown live (or a re-run) and more than likely won't carry the PPVs either.
