2) Atlus revealed the game they are collaborating with Vanillaware studio is a remake of Odin Sphere called Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir and will be released for the PS3, PS4, Vita early next year. Atlus also revealed they are working on another unannounced game with Vanillaware and details regarding that game to arrive this September.

Have to give a shout out to ALvarado52 for the preview program invite once again. Lots of cool shit they have implemented so far. They also patched the "unceremoniously booting" of users for updates. Playing Mass Effect last night felt awesome

Late Night News Edition:
Doubt anyone here would get fooled but worth a small warning regarding WWE 2k15 and people sending messages to 2K Games for help.

2K Games is currently having problems with the servers for WWE 2k15 and as a result scammers have been using it as an excuse to start phishing for as many accounts as possible. At least one Twitter account so far has been revealed to be a fraud (https://twitter.com/2KSupport_17).

2K Games have been implying the problem is not on their end even though evidence points the other way. Also their quick fix is to just restart the console/game and hope the problem went away.

Nah, think they got the go ahead since it's known as a concept, but it's not really even been said if the NX version will be like the 3DS version (AKA handheld) or like the console version, or some sort of weird clone device like the rumours that say it's a portable and a home console.

I finally beat the main story of Hardline, probably the biggest disappointment I've had, was all up for a good final boss fight and it's like, "here's a cut scene instead"

Did some quick reading and aparently that's been semi-debunked by Square. Only the PS4 and 3DS versions are confirmed while a NX version only being considered as a possible idea. Probably won't get fully confirmed or denied until Nintendo actually debuts the device.

Like Hasney mentioned, too much confusion right now on what the NX is suppossed to be.

Weekend News Edition:
Final Fantasy XII currently rumored to be getting the remastered treatment according to the composer and director of the Final Fantasy concert series. Adding some possibilities of the rumor being true are Square Enix recently released remastered versions of FF X and FF X-2 while the composer for FF XII was in the audience when the announcement was made.

I would most likely get a FFXII remaster. The gambit system was really fun and well thought out. You had to do some serious tinkering with that thing to beat Yiazmat.

2) Sony announced Europe will be getting a special collector's edition for Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection which will include an artbook, stickers, the games, and a steel game case. Also includes exclusive access to the upcoming Uncharted 4 beta.

3) Xbox boss Phil Spencer stated Microsoft has changed their business plans in regards to how they handle exclusives with the new focus being on having stronger first party games and less on just paying for timed third party exclusives.

4) According to a recent report, working conditions at Konami have deteriorated to the point that management now micromanages everything with them controlling how employees interact with each other (barely at all), punishments for those they deem no longer useful (not fired but get reassigned to lower tier jobs like janitorial work), and constantly has all employees under surveillance (both figuratively and literally).
