Noid might not know this, but I've softened on him compared to where I used to be. I just like giving him a hard time.

TK probably has to be very careful how he treads, given that the brawl happened around a woman with an injury and talent on the other side of it seem to be looking to jump.

Omega and The Bucks have been removed from the Full Gear poster. CM Punk has been too, but he won’t be wrestling at the event because of injury. It looks like The Bucks and Omega could potentially be suspended for at least that long. Full Gear is November 19.
BTE is on hiatus too. Thank fuck. |

Well, it's hard to film something when all you are doing is sitting around and doing nothing.
And I'm sure Tony told them "You can't do anymore of those in the likelihood if you say something about the incident (which we know that they would), it could open us up to a lawsuit." I didn't mind BTE when it had nothing to do with wrestling. Like recently when one of the bucks won a ton of money at the casino. I liked that. |

I don't watch BTE every week but the Bucks had progressively less and less of a presence on there despite it being their show. They'd usually film themselves at an airport or a store in the town they're in or whatever. But the rest of the episode would be segments filmed by other members of the roster.
A lot of the year one AEW guys (Hangman, Dark Order, Best Friends, Peter Avalon) etc seem to still enjoy doing it. But as far as I know Brandon Cutler films and edits the entire thing and he's suspended too so I understand why it's all been put on pause. |

Can't remember if it was Ryan Nemeth or someone else that said BTE helped boost morale during the Daily's Place residency. That Dark regulars (himself included) were chomping at the bit to be on the show and it was giving everyone a chance to go off into their own corners of the arena and film their own segments and do some wacky character work.

They don't have the TV time and they couldn't get a dedicated timeslot for BTE on public access if they tried.

Dave is saying that Tony Khan can extend Omega’s contract because of the injuries. I can imagine that is basically a way of kissing Omega goodbye after he’s let off in November 2023 or whenever it is. But I’m pretty sure he did overplay a lot of those injuries and take the company for a bit of a ride.
Man this company is turning into even more of a mess. |

I just LOVE that Tiny is now doing FEDBAD things. Extending people for injuries, making people have non compete clauses, making people go through "yes men" instead of having time for his friends errr I mean employees errr I mean his live toys. Maybe he should just get out of the rasslin business and dedicate him time on his passion for cocaine.

Kenny Omega in Japan rn hanging out with a lot of DDT folks likely sending out "feelers". Maybe DDT would be the best place for Kenny to be Intergender tag team champions and wrestle his new style that Tony Kahn isn't a big time fan of anymore.

Omega going back to DDT is a distinct possibility. I would not be surprised to see Omega and Ibushi split off from their current promotions.

Looking forward to Mox throttling Sammy tonight. Jericho/Danielson is more of a toss-up, either of those vs. Mox is a viable Grand Slam main event. Can see the positives and negatives for a title reign for each, especially presuming the winner will be going into a feud with MJF.
Mox Positives - Might be AEW's Tanahashi...the guy you throw the belt on when the company's going through a tough time. Closest thing to just trying to carry on as if the Punk nonsense never happened. Negatives - Dude was supposed to be going on like a month-long vacation that he postponed to do the next few Dynamites. While he's a company guy and might have no problem sticking around indefinitely, I suspect his body needs the rest after doing high-intensity matches all summer. Probably not the best for him to be given what would amount to a transitional title run, either. Jericho Positives - The most recognizable name left on the roster. Has been doing really good work this year. Loses nothing from having a transitional run. Can play in the whole "I'm the locker room leader" talk whilst MJF continues to shit on AEW and threaten to hold the title as a bargaining chip. Negatives - The below scenario pretty much requires Jericho to be a face again, which is bleh as his heel work has been a big reason he's been so enjoyable this year. I know you can try to "shades of gray" it or whatever but I can see it being clunky to navigate. Danielson Positives - Hasn't won the title yet so it'd give him a nice accolade while also not hurting him if it's a transitional run. Strikes me as someone who doesn't want a lengthy run at this stage of his career anyway. MJF vs. Danielson would be a fresh feud as well vs. the other two options that have been done before. Negatives - You've just had to vacate the title twice due to Punk getting hurt straight after winning it. Putting the belt on a guy who is a concussion away from being back on the shelf is a risky proposition. If you go this route you just cross your fingers and pray he makes it to Full Gear. |

Is it true that they’ve associated MJF with another thrown together faction? That’s not what he needs.
* Big Cass should just be winning squash matches at this point. * Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page never got a chance as a proper tag team. * I don’t know anything about Stokely Hathaway. I guess he should be managing someone who needs to get out of things on technicalities. PAC? Whatever. He’s not really necessary. * I don’t know anything about Lee Moriarty. Is that the other guy in the group? I’m pretty sure he’s smaller. He could be getting hard-earned wins against the Frankie Kazarians and Matt Sydals of the world. |
