Some AEW gossip:
- Tony Khan has been talking to different media platforms about airing AEW. DAZN is a name that has been thrown out there by Brandon Thurston. This could be for international rights to AEW or could eventually be a replacement for Warner Bros Discovery. - Bobby Fish apparently tried to get Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly to leave AEW with him. They said no. It is believed Tony Khan found out and that has been it for Bobby Fish. Swerve Stickland’s name has been brought up, for whatever reason, as being someone that might have tipped TK off about Fish trying to lead an exodus. |

Adam Cole seems to care more about his streaming career than his wrestling career, so not surprising he's comfortable where he is.

- Malakai Black, FTR and Swerve Strickland are all on the list of talent people believe WWE has sent feelers to. There is also mumbling about someone who has been with AEW from the start that would surprise people.

Serious guess: Britt Baker. That would be a pretty big blow to AEW. Without her their women’s div only really has Jade.

Apparently they contacted Swerve, he went and snitched to TK that WWE was contacting people, and TK had legal send WWE a cease and desist in regards to tampering.

There’s that rumor. I dunno, I guess someone snitched. He’s new enough at a high level to probably do it.
There was mumblings that it was Jericho, but Jericho has a working relationship with WWE still. He did the Austin podcast and he, Bryan and Big Show did the Cena Raw thing. They have to talk to WWE for that to be put together. It doesn’t really make sense for Jericho to go “WWE is talking to me!” I guess someone like Swerve might do it because he sees it getting him points. Bit of a rookie move though. Makes sense WWE would reach out to him if they were going to bring back Hit Row though. |

I definitely see the WWE reaching out to MJF, but I don’t think that would be stooged off. If they contacted Britt re: her availability that would probably be pillow talk between her and Christian.

Wardlow would be a guess for obvious reason. Would not be surprised if Trips has been blowing up PAC and Lance Archer, either.

Oh and I wouldn't be super shocked if they called Hangman up, either. They might be willing to give him a go in NXT and see if they can mold him a little bit before moving him up. I dunno how they feel about his comments re: taking advice though.

PAC was a Triple H guy. I wonder if Tony has any tells? Swerve was just a tag champ for no reason. PAC is a double champion. Does that come about because he knows Triple H wants them? |

You can get that out of him. He goes to NXT and is a good boy and they can say he learnt from his mistakes.

Id like to see Kenny there honestly. Theres some matchups with WWE guys that could be incredible. Rollins, Richochet, Riddle, AJ, etc. And he would have absolutely no pull there which would be better for everyone involved. It could work.
If the goal is to stick is to AEW though there is only really one name I think would really make an impact. If WWE somehow got Mox back at this point that would spell doom for AEW I think. |

If The Elite camp loses out in this investigation, I can see Tony offering them all ways out. Page probably gets an option to leave then too.

I honestly think a stint in WWE for Hangman would do wonder for him. He gets the right people around him and there is some definite star power there for a few years. Maybe not top guy potential, but definitely on the top end of things. Imagine WWE picking up the redemption of Hangman Page angle that AEW dropped the ball on and did it right. That could be a huge angle and get him over the moon.

Mox probably still has nightmares from the stupid shit they made him say/do. Vince or no Vince. Pretty sure he's happy where he's at.
Some familiar faces in WWE that aren't just call backs would be refreshing for WWE's product, tho. |

Honestly, I feel the same way about a lot of guys there. Jericho is old and embarrassing now. Punk causes trouble because he won’t suffer the politics. Danielson diminishes himself because he doesn’t give a fuck. Samoa Joe looks disinterested and feels like a waste. Keith Lee sucks and reminds audiences that they will take everyone and it sucks. The optics of them having too many guys works for them, and it’s not like anyone is being maximized. You want MJF, Britt Baker and Jade Cargill. That cripples them BIG TIME. |

Honestly, even a guy like Wardlow being in AEW helps WWE because AEW has no clue what to do with him. It makes them look like clowns. There’s definitely benefits to signing him and using him better, but it doesn’t hurt if AEW keeps tripping over their own shoelaces.
Take the hot talent that actually somewhat find a way to get used half-way correctly there. MJF overcomes his bad booking and Jade has been booked pretty solidly for her experience level. I’m even iffy on Britt Baker, because she’s also kind of lost in limbo there. But you take her and they’ve got such a horrid women’s div. Good luck appealing to networks in these times without having a cast of women. That division isn’t going anywhere, so you do your best to make sure it sucks. |

I thought WWE had a decent chance of getting Kenny, but I’m also wondering if he’s someone that’s a bit too toxic, so you leave him in AEW to make a mess there. Plus if you don’t want it to be a wrestler’s market, don’t offer him much and see what that does to what Tony Khan starts paying the guys.

Archer was one of those first "big guys" AEW managed to get but they really haven't done dick with him for a while.
The Butcher started out late in wrestling, kinda like DDP but hasn't had the chance to really shine. I'd like to see him get a chance at a decent run. His band broke up so he might have the time to invest in a full WWE schedule (if he can stay healthy). |

Hobbs has got so much potential. Just tell his story. There’s a top babyface. Hook I’d use in NXT. Maybe have him debut in a similar fashion to his dad, he can choke out Damon Kemp on his first night in or something. Maybe have Kurt Angle introduce him. He’ll need some development, but he could be an interesting player down there. |

I don’t think that’s a signing you make if you don’t have something in mind for her as a contingency for if she isn’t cleared. She could be the voice of reason that convinces Jamie Hayter to stand up for herself and leave Britt, while behind-the-scenes could help them with expanding operations in the UK
She's got 2.7 million followers on Twitter, which is more than twice as many as AEW itself, so in terms of leveraging exposure and gaining potential viewers, it's not a terrible signing even if she can't wrestle, so long as there's something in mind for her. |
