Just google it. There are links for them everywhere. I'd copy and paste a link for you but I haven't figured out how to do that on my phone.

Older games are harder than games today. Today we can beat a game in just a few hours where as before we could play some games for weeks and still not beat it. One game I've never beaten to this day was the dos game The Dark Heart of Uukrul.

My brother bought Nightshade for the NES shortly after we got the system and we never could beat it. I found game genie codes for it a last year, because people apparently make their own now, and we still could not beat it because one of the early bosses glitch you into a never ending loop of knocking you down so you can't get up and pushing you against the wall so you just stay down.
We decided it's impossible to beat that game. |

My gf is a retro game collector and the old games are definitely harder because a lot of thecontrols are fucking terrible.
Oh and Kirby's Pinball for Game Boy 10/10. Best Game Boy game ever. |

Depends on what you mean by “older”...are you talking about as recently as the PS2/XBOX/GCN gen consoles or farther back than that? Because if you’re talking PS1 and before I would say, yes, definitely.
Also, am stoked to play through BioShock Infinite normally after picking it up and then giving 1999 Mode, which will, according to Irrational Games’ Ken Levine, be much more than just a tougher difficulty to try to get through the game on...apparently had some inspiration from spiritual predecessor System Shock 2 which maybe coincidentally, maybe not (thinking the latter) released in 1999. |

It is pretty tough, till you get the level patterns down. 6-2 was the game defining stage IMO. I could get through the game to that point in 1 life. There is a god damn eagle that infinitely respawns at one of the last jumps, but you have to time it JUST right, or it hits you and sends you plunging to your death. Outside of that, 6-3 is a walk and then it is on to the 3 boss fights, with the 2nd one (Jaquio) being the toughest. LOVE the damn series. NG II was MUCH easier and III was the first one I beat. |

Yes, games of yesteryear are mostly based on Arcade games which involved timing, coordination and skills to beat. They were made that hard to keep you pumping quarters into the machines. Also now that we have saves all you really need to be a video game now is time.

Dead Space... It makes Ridley Scott's Alien movie looked tame!! Even on Normal mode, I still got stuck in Chapter 5 where I face that fucking alien that keeps regenerating even if I blew off its limbs to pieces in the surgery room full of dead bodies... Worse, I run out of ammo!!! Dammit.. Other than that, it's a good game to play at night for those boo moments with the dead bodies jumping at you!!!

I kinda broke Oblivion when I played it, leveled up wrong and couldn't get any further since I couldn't kill ghosts, fantastic up till then though.

Just started Asura's Wrath.
This game is (unintentionally) hilarious and fun, with good art direction too...not very deep at all in the gameplay department, but fun nonetheless. We'll see where it goes, but I salute Capcom for taking a bit of a gamble with this one. |

Currently playing: Been addicted to Dungeon Defenders as of late. Wish I picked that game up before it being on sale for Christmas... wasting more time than I realize grinding like I'm playing Diablo and I don't know anyone else with the damn thing to co op. Hoping the Scott Pilgrim online multiplayer DLC delay isn't another six months in the making. I wanna 4 person brawl, Ninja Turtles/Simpsons/X-Men/Avengers style! |

Games I've Beaten in 2013:
Max Payne 3 - 80 Driver: San Francisco - 77 Shift 2 Unleashed - Holy Shit I Don't Care Dead Space 2 - 77 This was A LOT better than the first one. For starters, I played on casual to try and get through it as quick as possible. I know you're not supposed to and to play and normal or harder is the recommended setting but I didn't have time for all that. I also played I'd say about 70% of the game with my speakers on and in a darkish environment. Even under those settings, there were still plenty of "scary" moments and if I cranked up the difficulty a little would have probably been tougher to get through also. I didn't feel like a "space janitor" in this one either, I felt like I had a purpose and was actually working toward something. It probably helped from Issac being able to talk. The visuals were A LOT better too than in the first. Just about everything was improved. Didn't try multiplayer, don't really care. Working On: Blops 2, The Walking Dead, inFamous 2, God of War 3, God of War: Origins, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Assassin's Creed 3, Deus Ex, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Spelunky, Dear Esther, Trine 2, Super Meat Boy, Metal Gear Solid Collection, maybe Portal 2 co-op |

Problem is, there really isn't anywhere to go from there. They made such a great game there's really nothing to improve on. There's already a crapton of tricks in it and if they added any more it would probably feel awkward trying to do them since most of the configurations are taken. |

The wily stages are the best part of the first game. If you've enjoyed the game so far, you'll really like the next part. And the robot masters in 2 are more fun. Oh and when you play 2 make sure you get all the hidden blue squares. The reward is awesome. |
