I thought I would mark out for the Elites entrance to Wayward son, I did. Feels like it needs a little work in the middle to make it a great entrance theme and I could have done without the preamble, just a hot run into the start of the song.

But still fire.

I know its a long road to someone dethroning MJF but I really want it to be Darby. Maybe even after some douchbaggery by MJF we get a best of 5 series now Tony seems to have discovered them in his EWR options page.

Bought the WWE2K22 game for $20 - figured if it is shit $20 isn't too bad.


It's a HUGE improvement from years past, with some lingering bugs around movement//positioning.


Noticed they also adjusted their controls.


Light Attack
Heavy Attack
Grapple (which then has corresponding moves based on light//heavy attacks).


More or less how it was in the N64 days. AEW's game having a similar control scheme will be great. Familiarity, ease of use and simplifying the controls are good choices.


Game is smoother than ever, and I have (so far) found myself actually having to play well against the AI to win matches. Feels more like a "real back and forth" match.

My biggest problem with it was the Buck who did the buckshot lariat botch’s terrible over-acting. I’m for some comedy in my rasslin’ but only if you have a funny bone in your body.

Don’t watch Rampage much but had it on as background noise while I was cleaning up. 10/Preston Vance turned on the Dark Order. Hit all of Silver/Reynolds/Uno with the Brodie Lariat. Flipped off the crowd. Put Reynolds through a table. Tore off Uno’s mask. Then walked up the ramp, took of his own mask and threw it in Brodie Jr’s face. Celebrated like a huge dickhead while Brodie Jr cried.

Lol that was tremendous. I don’t really care about Vance but I appreciate the over the top villainy.

I still can’t believe that Dave Meltzer story. I mean…I can, but wow. Does anyone know where to find the clip?

I wonder what the most outrageous thing Dave has ever said was? A lot of his stuff in the WWE/AEW “war” raises eyebrows. When he sincerely made the case that Tomohiro Ishii is more deserving of the Hall of Fame than Randy Orton stuck with me. There’s also the classic where he did the write-up circa 1994 saying that best wrestler in the world isn’t Bret Hart — it’s Sabu.
