Finish Skyward Sword so I can actually read Hyrule Historia without worrying about spoilers.
Currently at an area that requires me to solve a puzzle to get into an area. A little stumped on what I should do. I'll figure it out. |

So I finished Dishonored about a couple of weeks ago must say it was rather enjoyable yet challenging enough if you wanted to play the stealth route and have no casualties. There was a big swerve in the game that I saw coming a mile away but it didn't ruin the experience and the conclusion was okay so i'd give it at least an 4/5 rating. Right now I am playing Transformers: Fall of Cybertron the multiplayer is great and the campaign isn't too shabby either wish I had picked up it's predecessor (WOC) when it came out now.

For example, there will be an enemy that holds his swords in a way that means you must attack him horizontally left to right. So, I move my Wii remote from the centre position left, so I can make the swing but the game things I'm trying to swing my sword from centre to left This means I just collide with his swords, so I have to move the controller slowly so the game wont misread it. Saying that, though, combat is cool any other time and beating bosses is actually really satisfying. I do actually feel more involved in the combat with Skywards Swords controls for the sword and your sheild. If it was tweaked a little bit more when it came to knowing when I did and didn't want to swing, it'd be perfect. |

Playing through some of the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim right now, pretty addicting. I like the cool “I don’t think we’re in Skyrim anymore” ambience of the areas like Raven Rock and Tel Mithryn...haven’t really done a whole lot; am working on figuring out this puzzle in The Final Descent quest where you help the old guy find out what happened to like, his grandpa or somebody.
Also just finished Big Game Hunt in Borderlands 2...why the fuck is the main story so damned short?! That’s alright though, been going through and killing all the “________ the Invincible” after-story DLC bosses. Cleared them all so far except goddamned Terramorphous. And that’s WITH The Bee shield (finally got it as a legendary loot drop as my mission reward for “This Just In”) and all my weapons dealing massive damage and being all purple - orange rated...I have come infuriatingly close though. |

I've just ordered the Collectors Edition of Aliens Colonial Marines, hope it's good. I enjoyed AVP despite that one getting critically panned.

Games I've Beaten in 2013:
Max Payne 3 - 80 Driver: San Francisco - 77 Shift 2 Unleashed - Holy Shit I Don't Care Dead Space 2 - 77 inFamous 2 - 65 My controller is kinda messed up so that made this harder than it should have been but it was still alright. Surprised to learn there was a user created content mode. I can't imagine people NEEDING more inFamous that badly. But I guess it's there for those who want it. Actually, it makes sense in sandbox style games, just not this one. Can't do much else with it to warrant more playing time with it. Working On: God of War 3, God of War: Origins, The Walking Dead, Blops 2, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Assassin's Creed 3, Deus Ex, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Spelunky, Dear Esther, Trine 2, Super Meat Boy, Metal Gear Solid Collection, maybe Portal 2 co-op |

Fall of Cybertron - 8/10
Best Transformers game to date. War for cybertron was a good game, but its repetitive scenery and lack of variety in playable characters brought it down for me. Fall of Cybertron fixes this by having each character play differently, and offers greater mission variety. Obvious highlights are playing as Grimlock and Bruticus, but even characters like Jazz and Vortex offer a unique experience given that missions are structured around their abilities. The downside is that co-op was removed. But if it means a more unique single player experience, then for me it's worth it. My one big gripe with this game however, is the lack of boss fights. War for cybertron made up for its faults with a plethora of fun and at times epic boss fights. FoC has very few boss fights. There are characters that could be bosses, but you end up fighting a bunch of regular enemies and then the character gets beaten in a cut scene. Shockwave is the main protagonist of the Dinobot section, and you never even fight him. You only actually fight one of the insecticons. So although there are no epic boss battles besides the final fight, playing as some of these characters is just as epic. I really hope they make another one, and continue the story on earth. |

Going through Dragonborn DLC and Dawnguard for Skyrim on the PC.
Have they made anything yet to connect a Xbox harddrive to those new slim ones yet? Some sort of port thing? |

Dust 514 open beta
Very early and somewhat bare bones version of the game, but knowing how CCP develops, I am extremely excited. Have been addicted to it since giving it a shot, and have been playing with 2 friends. It's certainly no CoD, and that's one reason I love it so much. It's slower paced, far more team oriented, and the community is going to MAKE this game. Their dedication already to putting out guides and tactics in a game that's only a few months into a real beta, is going to make a huge difference in the long run to the features and content that get added to this game. Add to that the game being completely free to download and play on PSN, and you've got the formula for a game that's going to be around for a while. |

I read the "synopsis" of Hearthfire, and was all like "I'm a badass warrior sent to save the world, why the fuck would I want to adopt kids?" I promptly run into a little girl who's all like "Hey, you got a dollar? I'm hungry and want to buy food. My parents are dead and my asshole aunt & uncle threw me out on the street, but that's okay though.*" So, suddenly, I'm all "OH MY GOD, KID! YOU'RE COMING TO LIVE WITH ME!!!" and used hard-earned bandit slaying blood money to build a child's room in my house. This, in the middle of ending up in the middle of a quest like Ye Olde Hangover and watching a fierce battle between natural, long-standing, mortal enemies in my horse and a dragon. Again, how have I avoided playing this??? *possibly paraphrasing |

So the Skyrim thing. Is that some kind of Fable/Sims DLC where you have a family? I'm curious because I can't play Skyrim on my TV because it's not a 70 inch 3D 1080p whatever-the-hell tv so the text is, literally, just a smudge.
If the DLC is about family, I'll be bummed that I can't play it anytime soon. |

I had Madden '13 get fucked up, so I borrowed my brother's copy and installed his disc on my hard drive(for 360). My disc will read and boot the game from the HDD, idk what solution there is for PS3. If you have the chance to return a copy and have a 360, you might go that route. |

Gears of War 3: This game really has a curse in glitches. Everytime I tried loading on the checkpoint after that chapter of "Helping Hand" The game fucking freezes while my player is walking down the building and sometimes it stops at the loading screen. Wtf?
So, I decided to skip it and have a go with Saints Row The Third. Both are on XBOX btw. |

^ ONLY thing I don't like about Far Cry 3: skinning innocent animals just to make upgraded weapons and as food supply or health inventory stuff.

Even if I was the main protagonist, I'd probably puke and be complete pussy in a nanosecond while skinning an innocent deer or boar with all those gooey intestines that you have to pick up in the game. |

Not so much Sims, since you don't have the option to trap them in a room and make them stew in their own blue liquids. You can find a couple of kids out of some strolling around and have them live with you as opposed to being an orphan just because or a few victims of shitty in-game mission circumstance (i.e. their guardian gets slain on a quest mission, so now they don't have a dad). They don't provide money like a spouse, but they seem to collect shit in their chest in their room while they go out and play that you're free to take... usually food or alchemy ingredients from what I've seen so far. If you bring a dog home, they'll beg you to keep it. I only have the one girl, so I don't know how they interact with another adoptee, nor do I have a wife yet, so I don't know if there are any dynamics at that, either. I also don't have any other DLC. I got Hearthfire simply because I like the idea of custom building a house. I'm also the same kind of guy who bought a couple wrestling games simply to dick around in the CAW for hours making various friends and celebrities and barely touching the gameplay. The game itself isn't even mine, but I will end up picking it up soon. On a side note: enabling direct child killing is a hot-button no-no for games, but witnessing one scripted to roam around and sleep out in the rain behind the inn if you don't decide to provide them a place to stay is a perfectly healthy kind of player trauma to enduce. |
