I've got The Orphanage on Blu Ray and Rescue Dawn to watch in next day or so! Especially looking forward to seeing Rescue Dawn because of Herzog and Bale! |

The Other Boylen Girl - 0/10
Sadly a movie this bad is not so rare anymore. The plot was boring, the acting was terrible, most of the time was people staring blankly at someone talking, no suspense at all, no build up, not a thing worth noting a waste of 1:45 of my time. I want to shoot whoever thought this was a half-ways decent movie. (My girls sis said it was good she has a horrible fucking taste in movies) |

Amelie 10/10
No movie has just made me 'feel good' like this movie did. I found myself tearing up at times just because of how happy people were at how they were helped. I am probably gay for saying that, but it just made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Definitely suggest watching this if you've never seen it. |

Would have maybe upped it half a point to a 4 if they added 5 more minutes at the end. |

Live Free or Die Hard
6/10 It was entertasining but had some super cheesy parts.. I prolly would've liked it more had it not been a Die Hard movie.. Like it it was just some random B.Willy action movie.. Michael Scott was right about the evolution of John McLain.. He used to be a regular everyday guy, put in the crazy situations and he struggled to survive.. Now he's jumping cop cars off toll booths into helicopters.. meh |

Bowling for Columbine - 2/10
Ill try to explain, I hated this for the fact there was roughly 20 mins dealing with columbine, and 2 hours of shit about the NRA. drove me fucking crazy watching it. Makes me want to shoot Heston in the fucking kneecaps for his comments at the end, and Moore for making this more about the NRA then anything else. I watched hoping for some insight into Harris and Klebold, their lifestyle, what made them snap, etc. I was very very disappointed. |

The movie wasn't about Columbine, it was about gun control. Just because you didn't know what the movie was going to be about doesn't make it a bad movie.

Honestly, I didnt want an information session on the NRA. The only thing I liked was, the Manson interview, the security camera footage, and the K-Mart incident. I just dont like the movie as its barely about what the title implies. |

Thats not the point I am trying to make, I watched Bowling for Columbine, expecting something interesting about Columbine.

My point is you're focusing too much on the title. You can't judge a movie based on the title.
It wasn't about what you expected it to be about. If I watched Rain Man for the first time thinking it's about a man made of rain, I wouldn't hate it simply because it wasn't. I would judge it as a movie. |

although the movie did focus on Columbine around 20 mins in, and for the last 15 mins or so, it had some Columbine stuff. They barely talked about Harris, and mentioned Klebold once or twice I think. I mean if the movie was intended to be about what happened because of them, you would think the movie would be more about them. |

Apocalypse Now: Redux
Um.. 5/10 I -want- to like this movie. I have read that in order to appreciate this movie, I need to see the non-Redux version, as the Redux takes away from the movie instead of adding to it. To put it plainly, I just didn't fucking have any idea what they were talking about in this movie. I 'got' what was going on I guess, but the conversations went way over my head and I just didn't understand half the crap that was being babbled on and on about. I liked the banter between soldiers, and for a war movie it was decent.. I understood the general story, and a few of the deeper things going on. But when it came to the longer talking moments, I didn't know what the fuck was going on and it really put me off. Anyone care to explain this movie to me so I can 'get' it, or should I just try to find the non-Redux version? |

I never liked Apocalypse Now. Everyone always talks about how amazing it is but it really is just a boring ass movie. Like I can appreciate that it is a really well made movie but I have tried to watch it twice and just did not like it both times.

Big Love - Season One 7/10
I really didn't think I'd like this at all, but I was oddly attracted to it. Much of it was the novelty of the polygamist lifestyle, but that is to take nothing away from the actors. Plus you see Bill Paxton's ass a lot. |

Once Upon A Time In The West
10/10 Probably the best western I've ever seen. It's an old movie, but probably one of Henry Fonda's best roles too. He actually plays a bad guy, and he does it incredibly well. Didn't expect it to be nearly as good as it was. |

The Prestige
8/10 Great cast and was a cool mystery with alot of twists.. The only thing, though it kept my attention the whole time, it was alittle longwinded and seem to drag on through parts., Def a good movie though.. Scarlet Johansen Shottas 9/10 I really liked this Jamaican gangster flick.. The soundtrack (done by Stephen Marley) was outstanding and it reminder me between a mix of Scarface and Belly.. I just really really liked this movie.. |

Death Race 9/10.
I kind of want to give this a 10. I enjoyed it throughout. One big action piece. Jason Statham always kicks ass. One part of the movie I didnt get was (highlight) how Jason Statham and Machine Gun Joe all of a sudden became friends. Did I miss something there? Otherwise, awesome movie. |
