Marathoned ME2 on Sunday. Started with a little over 5 1/2 hours of playtime and ended it with 17 hr and 18 minutes then put another 3+ hours into it last night to finish it. Feel like I can barely see this morning.
It's been a long time since I played that much straight, probably the most since the first Diablo was still popular. I played that for so long the noises from hacking into corpses started to make me sick. I wanted to start into ME3 but with Injustice coming out today I don't see that happening, or else Injustice will end up like Arkham City which I longed for so much, and still haven't played despite having it since shortly after it came out. |

Was trying out UVHM on Borderlands 2 the other day, and while I appreciate the new level 61 cap, trying to get through missions in this new mode is markedly more challenging.
Also, on a related note, I somehow managed to kill Terramorphous finally and also finally found the small section of The Fridge that had gone undiscovered that kept me from the World Traveler achievement for so long, so it was a pretty great weekend for me as far as all things Borderlands 2 related. Just thought I’d share. |

Was thinking of getting Defiance. Any good? The 2-hour pilot for the tv series was pretty interesting.

It's pretty good. I was kind of hesitant at first getting an MMO on a console but so far it has impressed me. The game mimics Borderlands in a lot of ways

I don't know if I can love another MMO or give it the time I gave WoW...

Comparing Defiance to WoW is a bit of a stretch. I know they are both MMOs but the level of depth of WoW far exceeds Defiance

Okami is much longer than I expected but I think I'm near the end now. Really good Zelda-esque game though, not sure how I managed to miss this on PS2.

That's the only GIF I could find and the videos on YT were uploaded by 8 year olds and had 3 minute intro sequences for 5 seconds of gameplay.
There are good ones, I just couldn't find them at the time. |

Finally beaten Mortal Kombat 2011 (The one with Freddy Krueger, Cyber Sub Zero and Quan chi as the unlockable characters.) No matter how many times you wanna change the difficulty level, the AI is pretty much tough to beat much like Punch Out and I FINALLY BEAT THAT TOUGHEST BOSS EVER, Shao Kahn... I think it had something to do with the range attacks of fireballs and Raiden's lightning spear with his body.. But it was effective.. If you use melee punches and kicks he'll wipe your ass to the floor with a hammer. But still, enjoyable game.
I really liked the X-Ray attacks more than the fatalities itself. In the story mode, I can't even perform a fatality only x-ray attacks. Anyone else tried fatality on the story mode? |

I know. I've started ME3 but I didn't feel like playing it tonight so I started into Dante's Inferno instead since it's pretty short supposedly.
I'm really not feeling the AC games to be honest. I hated Brotherhood and if I had known when I bought them that you could watch the story unfold on Youtube like Kalyx was saying the other day, I probably would have skipped the games and just watched that. Just need to finish ME3 and Dante and I'll start them up and run through them. |

Fallout 3 is a great game. Never got into AC at all. Fallout 3 consumed a lot of my time in a good way.
I just got done replaying through Fable 2, still a great game after all these years. Started a new Fallout 3 game, with the GOTY edition. Haven't played through all the DLC so it will hopefully be a great experience. Last edited by Heisenberg; 04-28-2013 at 11:36 AM. |
