Why doesn't the WWE just base themselves in California?
It feels like they spend most of the year in California these days. |

Still waiting on a UK WrestleMania though.
A SummerSlam will also suffice. |

Well, looks like I'll be able to go to Wrestlemania (and the post-WM Raw) in 2015.

To be fair, California is huge. Summerslam is in Los Angeles every year. Going to LA from where I live (up near San Francisco) is longer than going from New York City to Philadelphia, across multiple states.

California has had SummerSlam for the past five years, the second biggest PPV of the year, and it gets lot of Raw & SmackDown's and now it's apparently getting WrestleMania XXXI. Though I will say that I could be wrong about the number of Raw & SmackDown's, as I'm just going by how many times you and the rest of TPWW's "California Crew" go to Raw, which seems like a lot. Thinking about it now, Texas is bigger and even that doesn't get as much attention these days from the WWE as California does. |

Also, I'm going to start calling you guys "The California Crew". It's got a nice ring to it.

If you forget about state borders and just think about area, it makes more sense. The distance across California and the distance between Detroit and New York are about the same. If you're trying to get as many parts of the country out to shows, you've gotta make trips to Northern and Southern California just like you wouldn't go to Detroit and just forget about New York. It just so happens the former is all considered part of one giant state.

Damn, a round trip flight to Santa Clara (San Jose) costs like $700, and no direct flights. Want to go next year now that I have employment.

I was thinking about the WWE music today and thinking about how Jim Johnston doesn't seem to be making any new themes these days.
The last new theme he created, I think, was Ryback's theme. Since then, it's been all CFO$. I get the feeling that Jim Johnston is slowly going to leave the music to CFO$ and then leave/retire from the WWE. I looked CFO$ up and they've just started doing a Q&A thing on YouTube. I kind of feel sorry for them as they've got to deal with those annoying/stupid WWE fans that you get online. For example, no matter how many times they say that they had nothing to do with "End of Days", people still insist on asking them about it. And when they say that they can't say what theme they're working on, people still ask them what theme they're working on. |

Also, in one of the videos, people ask them if a song they came across on YouTube is the full version, and CFO$ then asked people to send them the YouTube links to these songs and then they'll verify them as being the full version or not.
I get the feeling they're just saying that and what they'll actually do is claim copyright on them and have them taken down. |

One thing I hate about UK shows are the title matches. You just know that the champion is going to retain and 98% of the time, they do. It sometimes makes me wonder, why bother with title matches in the UK? |

Breaking News: WWE says voting is now open for the Web Slammy awards. Get the WWE APP on your smartphone or get a App Simulating program and run it on your computer.
Edit: You can vote for the Web awards on WWE.com without the app. |

Someone posted that awesome "I'd just like to speak with Tom" video, but here is one of my favorite often forgotten about angles. It took place in OVW between Johnny Jeter and Matt Cappotelli. I post this every now and then, but I think it deserves revisiting and there may be some who don't know the history.
OVW was a developmental territory of the WWE at the time, and Paul Heyman was in charge of it, creatively. Some of the notable talent that passed through this OVW were CM Punk, The Miz, Ken Doane, Ken Anderson, Brent Albright, Johnny Jeter, and Matt Cappotelli. Johnny Jeter and Matt Cappotelli were a babyface tag team called "The Thrillseekers," who both managed to score a pin in a match that made them both #1 Contender for the OVW Heavyweight Championship. Matt Cappotelli got injured shortly after this, but stood aside and let his best friend get the title shot solo and stood behind him, but once Johnny Jeter won the OVW Title, Jeter turned on Cappotelli and beat the one-legged man, no longer having a use for him. |

Johnny Jeter reminds me of a cross between The Miz and Chris Jericho. Heel Jericho from his Undisputed Championship days.
