Lumis can speak.
That might have been the goofiest wrestling wedding ever but also arguably the funniest one ever as well. NXT's revamp show was somewhat meh to average but the InDex wedding was worth the hype. |

It'll be cool watching these young guys/gals grow. NXT really needed a change from SuperIndy to OVW esque.
Steiners son looks great. He'll probably need a new finisher that can be used on anyone. |

Actually not overrun believe it or not. They (USA) always, and I mean ALWAYS, gives the show until like 10:05-10:10PM Eastern time. It's really screwy.

The new set took a bit of getting used to and I couldn’t figure out why. It’s the knees. You don’t usually see the fans knees and with the Perspex guardrail you can.

To be honest, I tried watching this last night and it put me to sleep. Watching now.
"Bron Breakker" awful name, but he should end up being pretty good. Gotta drop the Mojo Rawley energy though.... Don't care about imperium or these 2 redneck types.... V interesting that the girl from (S)Hit Row wrasslin this week. Think this is the first time she's had a match. People were complaining that the previous CWC setup was awful, but this is even worse. Really leaning into how small this arena is. Prev set up at least distracted from it with dark lights and shit. Now it's in fluorescent white and you can't hide that. |

Really hate the smash cuts on the camera. I watched NXT to get away from this.
Kacy/Kayden seem like perfect people to push in this new TikTok era reboot. They were very out of place prior to this, but all the kids who are watching this after SpongeBob and Paw Patrol will love them. Ugh, woman's tag match restarted as a 6 woman match after shenanigans. More main roster tropes. |

Saw that dude on reddit and thought he looked exactly like Mojo. Also saw some clips and the new set is shit.
Gross. This is what they want though, so whatever.... I definitely don't lead any multi-million entertainment company. |

Haven’t watched the whole show, but I’m glad NXT is getting away from indy, indy, indy. Moving towards something like OVW is going to do wonders for it, I think. It’ll actually be different and you might get some guys coming up that may work on the main roster. I just hope it doesn’t get too much like Raw. Just a development wrestling show, please.
Hate it when they give these guys stupid names. Just go with Ben Buchanan and Bronson Steiner. |

The age of some of these guys is phenomenal. Steiner is 24. Buchanan is apparently like 20.
I think youth has been something missing from wrestling. Guys like Kenny Omega might not seem old to many of us, but I guarantee that there are kids, teenagers and people in their early 20’s that see him as ancient. Just having this younger roster is probably going to help the audience grow and skew younger. Daniel Vidot is in his 30’s now, but if he’s solid enough, he might be Australia’s greatest contribution to wrestling. |

Fuck me, Ben Buchanan is really fucking fluid for a 20 year old guy. Strong as an ox too. Doesn’t look it, but he’ll grow into his frame more.
I hope Cena puts him over at a WrestleMania. Bull Buchanan can coach his son to defeat the man he used to corner. I’m half-joking there, but seriously, Cena putting over the kid of the former B-Squared would be nice fucking symmetry and get a guy who would be 20, 21 in a pretty darn good spot. I want The Creed Brothers in the SmackDown tag division already. Put Owens & Zayn together as a team. * The Usos * Street Profits * Alpha Academy * Ziggler & Roode * Rey & Dominik * Owens & Zayn * The Creed Brothers How is that not an amazing tag division? |

NXT was awesome. Not the best episode of television ever, by any stretch of the imagination, but so smart in how it set stuff up and executed it.
Lots of young faces. And NXT, now that it may have some continuity with the main roster, might be able to start trialling the people they actually want as stars as stars in that ecosystem. Some of these dudes are already interesting enough to flesh out the main roster. It wouldn’t surprise me to see The Creed Brothers and Bron Breakker on the main roster even before WrestleMania. Young acts are going to attract young viewers. And it’s not always about going out and having Observer five star matches. Simple, smart execution. I can see this show overtaking Dynamite in time. Not that that’s even the goal right now, but there was so much that was interesting on the show. And it actually feels like NXT might be a glimpse into the future that Triple H’s boutique product just couldn’t offer. Even the comedy was well done. If they go more organic with promos (and they had some personalities on this show), and the stories don’t get too silly — they’re onto a winning formula in my opinion. It feels a bit like OVW or even Smoky Mountain. Not exactly, but in that NXT circa 2013/2014 way. I hope they use main roster talent. I used to love it when you’d get a Aiden English vs. Sheamus or Rob Van Dam. They can sprinkle that sort of stuff in and make it a much more exciting show then it has been since it kind of got stale in 2015. |

There will have been a curiosity bump this week for NXT, will it hold/grow that bump? I don’t think so. Meanwhile AEW have a huge show lined up. The audience is fluid, WWE can pop a rating when they need/want to (albeit often with diminishing returns when it comes to things like “Legends”/“Retro”/“Old School” themed shows), the product just doesn’t hold people’s attention. More than likely the same for AEW tbf. |

It’s reasonable to think they won’t hold it. This was the relaunch and the wedding. Both seem to pop ratings. That being said, this is just tiny NXT. Those sensational returns aren’t going to be as meaningful as with a Raw or SmackDown. That and the show being somewhat good makes me hopeful that they can actually get something going here. I don’t expect it to go up 28% again, lol. But it will be interesting if it holds steady it even sees slight gains. |

According to someone at the show tonight, WWE tarped up some sections of the venue due to less people showed up than expected.
For some reference, even with the new spacing, the venue still only holds under 300 people as its max. Last week's show was around 280 according to the Observer Newsletter.
Also is you really love long winded opening promo segments on RAW, you'd love the start of tonight's show since that's what the first 10-15 minutes was. |
