I wanted to post the unfitting uptempo porn music The Rock had for a hot minute (like 2 matches), but I can't seem to find it as a bunch of people on YouTube seem to have confused any numbered theme of his after 3.

Didn't Hunter point at her and say "SHOW YOUR TITS!"?
I'm surprised the truck actually cut to her (and I believe originally pixellated it), but then again, this was still at a time where if a fan rushed the ring, they didn't point cameras to the sky or any other nonsense shot to not show it, and we'd see security or wrestlers or even refs blast the jackass before carting them away off-camera. |

a green as grass Scott Hall and Dan Spivey make their debut as American Starship.
Hall was known as Coyote. Spivey was known as Eagle. don't ask me what the hell an American Starship is or what their gimmick was. announcer David Crockett as usual gushes over them like some teenaged girl. the smoke and Prince's Let's Go Crazy is about all they had going for them. |

El Rey Network wants at least 40 episodes for the next season of Lucha Underground although biggest issue right now is production costs since the promotion is spending too much on that without getting much in return. Likely need another company/group to get involved to help cover the gap.
Merchandise sales and the time its taking them to get it available has been their biggest disappointment so far. Quote:

I've really got no clue where they are going with SummerSlam. I was thinking they might have Seth Rollins scamper out of Battleground with the World Title and have Lesnar and Reigns challenge him at SummerSlam in the true form of the WrestleMania Triple Threat. Triple H could then face Dean Ambrose, John Cena and Kevin Owens could have a US Title classic and Bray Wyatt could be left to tango with Randy Orton. But none of that seems to be the cards anymore.
Everyone seems to be so certain that Owens is winning the US Title at Battleground. I used to be among those people. But thinking about it, maybe it would be best for Cena to retain the US Title at Battleground, sending Owens into a mad frenzy to prove himself? If you want someone outside The Authority to cost Brock Lesnar the World Title at Battleground, Owens seems like the best bet. That would leave Cena to continue his awesome US Title Open Challenges. I dunno. |

I do enjoy Cena's US Open Challenge, so I'm all for that continuing.
Also, Owens costing Lesnar which then leads to Lesnar vs Owens sounds good too. Just to see Owens get his ass handed to him by Lesnar. |

Rather have Owens win and continue building up the US title that started in a way with Sheamus. Whoever takes it from Owens in the future gets to be the one that the division revolves around as its top star.
Owens can act all smug like he did in NXT by claiming Cena didn't earn the right for a rematch which leads to Cena "proving" he does by continuing his Challenge series. Ceasaro takes over for the short term feud against Owens while Cena-Owens IV match gets spaced out a bit more. |

Balor should win the U.S. title from Owens in his main roster debut.
Owens-Cena 4 needs to happen at WM I think. |

The idea of Cena keeping the challenge going without the US Title is a mint idea though. Cena could even lose every now and then, and wouldn't actually lose anything. Owens could beat Cena and then make him jump through hoops to get the SummerSlam rematch. Maybe a stipulation that if Cena loses, he'll never get a US Title shot again? I dunno. Something like that sounds like a selling ticket to the average fan. Cena wins that match and then you have Owens putting the same stip on a Night of Champions rematch. Owens wins that and then you have them fight over the US Title inside Hell in a Cell. That bridges the feud out for a long time though. The spacing idea might be better. |

Lol, was just looking up some ROH talent to see who I might be interested in following. Clicked on Cedric Alexander's page and read this: "Has Caught in MMA Once under the Name Alexander Cedricson. In that Fight He Beat Brock Lesner By KO in 3 seconds in the 1st round."

According to the sheets, TNA is facing an ultimatum of sorts this week.
Either the checks they promised to production arrives on time or else they might not be able to tape the next show or shows if the crew walks out in protest. Think they have another sets of checks promised to arrive by next month or two from the recent June set of tapings that could face a similar ultimatum as well. |

It's that time of year where the local indy fed here put on their "big event" in August.
So the big names appearing this year are Ted DiBiase (for around the eighth year in a row), Terry Funk (again), Colt Cabana and Chyna. For some reason though, the fed, that prides itself on being a "wrestling promotion for all the family", have used an image of Chyna from one of her porn shoots on all the posters and banners around the city here and on social media. Although she does have a bra on, but it's not doing a great job at containing her breasts. The poster just looks like the cover of some strange porno, as DiBiase and Cabana are at either side of her. |
