Apparently Madusa/Alundra is not a fan of the current Divas Revolution angle. The rant came from a recent post on her Instagram account and went off on a few people involved in the storyline.

Fucking hell good job Michael Cole! (I'm still a Cole Miner!)
He looks like an arrogant douche in the second pic though. I always picture him being in real life how he was when he was a heel a few years back. |

I was just thinking the other day about how NWA needs to try to get some national attention again. Use that rich history that companies like TNA, ROH and GFW don't have the benefit of. They need to start slow though. None of this trying to go prime time on Spike right off the bat and ending up putting themselves in financial peril. Get a nice late night/afternoon slot somewhere where you can go kinda low budget and not have to worry about ratings right off the bat and carefully build it back up for a bit.

The NWA would really benefit from something like the WWE network. They could air all their promotions on it. With all their promotions they could have a pretty good weekly wrestling schedule and wouldn't need to do all the extra shows like the WWE network does.

Yea, if they just tweaked that a bit and added their current promotions I think it would be cool.

The territory system could be used like a brand split. All those guys in the company being showcased weekly but never coming in contact with each other thus bulding up small scale "dream matches". Could get over like ghostbusters or however that phrase goes.

Good fucking god, Michael Cole. If he'd have looked like that when he fought King maybe people wouldn't be so upset about the outcome... Ok, they totally would, but still.

TNA teasing a huge announcement for next week. Could be the rumored big tour that is supposed to happen soon, something else that could be good for TNA, or just a big disappointment like most big teases they hype up.

They've sold the company and the video rights to WWE.
The cost? $2 Million. As in: Panda Energy paid WWE $2 Million to get the dumpster fire that is TNA off their books. |

Damn, Becky Lynch. I don't wanna meet her, because she's the one girl on the roster that I just couldn't help but fawn over in person too.

The odd thing is people who have been following wrestling for so long generally ignore certain facts. For example, most of the biggest matches in history were done multiple times before the huge match (Hogan-Andre, Hogan-Savage, Austin-Rock, etc). Very few matches I can think of did massive business because they were held off. Maybe Rock-Cena is the best one, but even that is not quite the same. You look at a program like Hogan-Flair, which is what people want, and that bombed at house shows. Lesnar-Goldberg was a disaster (albeit there were circumstances that hurt that fight). I just dont see the benefit of brand splits/extensions. |
