There were a couple of other decent tag teams in TNA during their earlier years, too.."L.A.X." and the one which I think was a jab at Vince, the Voodoo Kin Mafia ("V.K.M."). And that's from someone who knows next to nothing about their product.

Austin Aries has a place in the stupid tournament TNA is doing. Good for him, but I'd rather see him in NXT. Really want AJ Styles and The Bullet Club in NXT.

I would love for the bullet club to invade the wwe, but would vince go for it since he did not create it. that's why I do not see aj going to wwe he makes more money in japan and the bullet club shirts they must be making a killing selling them.

WWE's Eva Marie wrestling experiment might be ending soon.

It would be better if they kept at it and then when she has a ton of heat on her and the boos are deafening have her wrestle flawlessly and watch jaws start dropping. That is if the latter part is achievable.

I knew after Wednesday that Eva Marie was done. Nothing would be a bigger slap to the face of the real wrestlers in NXT than having her try to "sport entertain" at Full Sail.

They all sport entertain for one. For two, if the women's match on any particular night was the writing on the wall it'd have months ago with the Brooklyn show or even before.
There's nothing inherently wrong with investing time and money into developing Eva Marie. They're just so dead set on hot shotting everything that they rushed her to NXT without giving her proper time to get a feel for what she's doing. If she just wrestled dark matches for a year straight with zero tv exposure and trained with zero pressure to perform I'm sure she'd be at least passable. She wasn't even as terrible as some of the hyperbole makes her out to be. Other than some timing botches recently, her matches weren't unwatchable. She's not the most athletic woman ever but she's not a train wreck either. |

You're just being dramatic. She bumped just fine. The moves she used, outside of sliced bread part 2, looked passable. She wasn't good or even decent but she wasn't some abomination she's made out to be.

Two, have you actually watched her recent matches? It's like watching some kid who just got done with his first few months of wrestling school having a match in front of a national crowd. Come on, man, you can't honestly believe that that shit was watchable. It was the very definition of piss break even at its best. Three, how the hell is it ok for them to waste money on her exactly? What does she bring to the table that makes her worth investing this much time and effort into? She isn't some super talented talker with loads of charisma. Her looks are a dime a dozen in this industry that already shelled out tons of Sables, Maryses, Tori Wilsons, etc. Plus she's 31 years old so she's no spring chicken. Even if you give her the time to develop off screen by the time she does (if she does) she'd be in her mid 30's. For a Diva that's ancient, man. Her career wouldn't even last long enough to be worth investing in. I mean come on, dude. With a guy like Roman Reigns at least there's some sort of reasoning behind this sort of thing, but with Eva there is literally no logical reason to go to this much trouble with her. If it's all for her looks that's just stupid because quite frankly there are a million other failed models WWE could swoop up just as easily, and who would likely be more adept physically in the long run. |

i'm not. she moves really awkwardly. like she has no athletic bone in her body. she looks leagues below most of the women on the main roster or nxt. nowhere near ready to be presented on television in a wrestling capacity.

I guess Mark Henry should've been shit canned years ago, as should Ryback, since they've injured countless guys. It's pro wrestling. People get hurt. Part of that is her fault. Most of it is the fault of those who are putting her in the ring without enough training.
Her matches aren't these terrible shit fests either. They're piss breaks alright. But saying they're "not watchable" is being dramatic. Other than her being green as shit, only a few months into accrual serious training, they're not awful. They're just not good. That's also not her fault. Why do you care if they invest or waste money into training her trying to see if there's anything there? It's not your money and Vince and co have surely blown far larger sums of money on far less fruitful investments. It's not like she's making millions. Maybe she works out as a mediocre worker who garners heat. Maybe she just ends up as a valet. Or gets released never to be seen again. Nonetheless, giving it a go and seeing what's there doesn't hurt anything or anyone. Remember Maria? Didn't do jack shit of note in WWE other than posing for playboy. She's now I ROH as a valet who people have praised and acknowledge to being greatly improved. Maybe Eva Marie gets to that point. Maybe not. None of us are in a position to say it's not worth the investment. What exactly would they be investing that's so valuable it should be allocated elsewhere? I don't see what her age has to do with anything. She doesn't look old. Doesn't sound old. If she's 35 with minimal wear and tear on her body and she still looks good who cares what her age is. What trouble are they going through exactly? It's not like she's eating up primetime tv time every week with entire storylines and programming dedicated to her. She's put in short matches that make her look better than she is on a show that's internet exclusive. I don't see why anyone gets so worked up about it. If she gets dumped everyone can rejoice and move on. If she improves enough to be more than passable in the ring than great, that works too. Pretending she's the worst wrestler in the history of man at this point just seems like people being over dramatic |

I agree she's not ready, which isn't her fault. She's not the caliber of the NXT women, which also isn't her fault. She's clearly still learning and should probably keep working off screen, but that's also out of her control. That doesn't mean she's the worst wrestler known to man.

did i say that she was? nor did i say she was an "abomination." i just don't see the point in wasting time on her when you can get what little she has to offer, and more, from other women.

Not calling you out specifically. Just the consensus in general. I don't see the harm honestly. Nor do I see why there's such an outcry about her getting a shot.

No one is saying she's the worst wrestler ever. However, she is one of the worst wrestlers ever to be put in such an amazing position, and given so many shots. It doesn't make any sense for WWE to be wasting that money. Sure, it doesn't really matter cause it's not my money, but why the hell are they doing it? You can't tell me that if you saw someone put hundreds of thousands of dollars into supping up a Pontiak Aztek you wouldn't scratch your head and wonder why. Especially when that person supping up said Aztek has some Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc all sitting in their garage going unused. That is exactly what WWE is doing here. Layla couldn't last past 38. Trish was gone even younger. Lita too. Divas don't get to go forever in the wrestling industry. To make it past 35 is a miracle for them. It's not right, but it's how the biz works. Women don't get the long careers men do, and Eva is already on the tail end of hers. So, yes, it DOES matter. There just isn't any logical reason to be putting money into her. Watching WWE do that is just head scratchingly ignorant to the point that it isn't even funny. Just imagine if they put even half this effort and time into building up someone with actual promise, or promoting someone who's already at that level. That is where that money could and should be going. |

Eva Marie should not have been on TV in any capacity at this point. Ron is right in that regard. Despite being big into working out, she really isn't athletic at all. No agility or anything. I see it too. Almost like a puppy to small for its own paws. That being said, if top brass wants to give her a chance they are absolutely allowed to do so. She was rushed for some reason which isn't her fault. The real shame is that people had to get hurt for them to apparently pull the plug on her.
Look, I get that she makes Kelly Kelly look like Bret Hart in the ring, and that maybe that's all she could ever have become even with years of the best training money can buy, a hyperbolic time chamber and Goku. I get it. She did get people to hate her even if it was "on accident" which is a start. Also, her age has nothing to do with anything. If she's over the hill at 32 or whatever then so is half the roster. |

She would make an excellent valet. Any wrestler associated with her will get a lot of heat.
