1-2 episodes were duds but the finale was very good and did a lot to setup the actual Twisted Metal tournament for season 2 assuming Peacock doesn't pull a Netflix and can the series outta nowhere. |

I've finished the second season of Peaky Blinders. I continue to enjoy it, but the show is somewhat undermined by the plot armour that the various Shelbys enjoy. The writers think they are being clever, but they are wrong.
I've also finished the first season of Good Omens. I've never read the source material, so I can't judge it from that point of view, but I liked the quirkiness of it. It also benefits from the strong performances of Michael Sheen and David Tennant. I also like Adria Arjona, but for completely different reasons.... I'm currently rewatching the two seasons of Marco Polo as well. I think this is probably the second or third time that I've done this over the years. |

Tacoma FD has kept the quality despite losing a great cast member and replacing him with a mediocre one. I love Broken Lizard, they get it.

Going thru and watching a season of American Horror Story I missed which is Season 7 Cult.
It's so crazy looking back in hindsight with what was going on then, and yet things have pretty much stayed the same in Murica |

Just finished 1883, finally.
If there's a single show I wish I could forget and re-watch for the first time, this is it. Not a Western person either, just an god damn good show. |

Every single actor brought it. I was leery of McGraw and Faith Hill.... because reasons. But holy HELL man.
LaMonica Garrett for me, was my favorite character I think. Last edited by Seanny One Ball; 09-06-2023 at 08:58 PM. |

Still slowly been watching Star Trek: TNG... just wrapped up the second season. Think I watched first and second season episodes the least as a youngling because first season was "Riker has no beard and looks weird" and second season was "who the F is this Pulaski broad"

Also randomly been watching "Teen Titans GO!"..... been putting on an episode on my phone in bed right before I go to sleep.... been quite enjoying it for what it is....
But I just see now that Netflix is getting rid of it at the end of the month so so much for that.... |

1923 done. 2/5
Not as good as 1883, at all. Kinda dumb tbh. Last edited by Seanny One Ball; 09-06-2023 at 08:57 PM. |

I don't know who that is.
1923 felt more like one of those romance novel covers looks. The cheesy shit between Spencer and whatever her name was (she annoyed the fuck out of me) was nearly intolerable. It was bad. And WTF was with Tim Dalton's character? We have the last episode focus on him and his bondage fetish for a solid 10 mins. Low effort, really. Here's to hoping Yellowstone is less of whatever 1923 thought it was. |

The countess is Spencer's love interest. That romance is mad cheddar, but she's pretty and has a nice rack, so I let it slide.
But, year, 1923 doesn't touch 1883 or the regular Yellowstone series. |

Just for the record drave, this is exactly why several posters have issues with you and it is getting to the point where you don’t make sense of yourself. For your own good I am going to start moderating your posts.
You need a wee guide to fix your output. |

Just so everybody knows, this is a forum where spoilers are the ultimate sin and almost no other infractions apply.
That being said, I won’t allow a grown man with serious health issues to make a complete fool of himself on my watch. Pray for drave, and if not him pray for his kids. |

The girlfriend has never watched One Tree Hill so we are watching that.
For me without her, I am watching Friday Night Lights for the first time. I have loved every second of the show. |

I forced myself to watch season 4 of Star Trek: Discovery, after initially abandoning it about 10 mins into the first episode, some time ago.
The Michael Burnham character is still perhaps the most annoying, smug ST character ever created. It also annoys me that every ten seconds the story has to stop so everyone can talk about their feelings. Also, everyone continues to act like overgrown adolescents. Fuck off, already. |

It astounds me that you both cannot remember how you made a fool of yourself and cannot back down from the results.
I know you think you are dying and nothing matters anymore but you need to pull your socks up at least. If I have to pull them up for you we will be here all day. |

It was unacceptable behaviour in the sense that it could only ever make you look bad. The thing is that you clearly won’t remember most of your insults and overreactions so I am skimming off the shit that might get you a fat lip.

Destor would never have moderated you in the first place, but that’s what I get for looking out for you.
Ok drave, have it your way. You can be Dean Martin while I stay John Wayne. |
