Vince won't realize it because in his mind, Roman is perfect. It quite literally will not fail because VKM won't let it. And you can believe that.

Reigns has the same problem Ryback had in that the WWE didn't really care about letting him devlop gradually and just skipped the real midcard building needed for both guys. |

Vince won't change anything because he doesn't have to. He's going to make piles of money regardless if he pushes talent that's actually universally over or not. It the ten year Cena run tells us anything, especially the initial run where the attitude era fans turned on him in droves and the company transitioned to more family friendly, it's that Vince is a man of conviction and he's not going to change what he wants until presented a valid reason, like getting beat in ratings and losing top talent.
Seeing as that's not gonna happen, it's more likely that things change when Vince let's go, which is probably another 20 years away, when he passes. |

Maybe they will add some sort of stipulation like The Authority must step down if Triple H loses (but for REALSIES this time) just to try to raise some sort of doubt that Reigns will win.
In that scenario though you're still likely to get a clean Reigns win followed by the face locker room emptying and hoisting the triumphant Reigns on their shoulders while the announcers gush about it and confetti falls from the ceiling...yet the crowd will STILL boo. |

Will he get AJ Stlyes treatment and get to keep his name?
Kana was renamed to Auska which I think was an improvement. Hideo Itami is not really as cool as KENTA but it's not bad either. I think he might get to keep his name considering all the publication of the signing. |

The problem then, was that once he was at "that level", they fucked up, didn't know what to do with him and made him a jobber/heel. In fact, Ryback going from squash matches/mid-card matches to suddenly going after CM Punk was quite exciting. Gave a legit vibe that anything could happen in WWE. |

Ziggler was similar in the sense that his huge win in Survivor Series 2014 led to nothing since he was only filling in for Reigns and was never planned to get a real rub or push from it. |

I read a lot of reports of house shows and comments of shows on twitter, and almost every show i read "reigns got the biggest pop of the night". I think there is a disconnect between fans online who just watch the tv and complain vs the paying fans.

You do. He always gets a big pop. You just have the 15% of the crowd that are loud and are there to be against whatever the machine is pushing.
He'll end up like Cena. Not everyone will be for him, but he'll get a reaction. Put it this way. I would rather Roman get the reaction he got during his match than the reaction AJ Styles got during his match. |

So the "IWC" or "Twitter Machine" or "Online Reports" (from HHH, or VKM Only of course) are okay when they serve your point, mkay I am (was until a few months ago) a paying fan. I have been to every show that has been in Indy since 92 when I went to WM VII. The product has grown stale for me. It has grown stale because the past 10 years the same formula has been in play with Cena and it is boring to watch, for me. After seeing the build with Reigns, it is clear that the WWE Universe is in for more of the same. Even taking the kayfabe chest protector out of the equation, Reigns just bounced up at the end of the match as if he hadn't even been in a match. LOLCENAWINS will soon be LOLROMANWINS. Sure he will garner a reaction, much like that of Cena. For me, personally, I don't want to pay $$$ to see that anymore. I cancelled my network sub yesterday and Shane//Taker isn't good enough to get me to renew. Gotta love those rights fees that are exploding because of the immense reaction Reigns gets at house shows. WOOOOO!! |

They had another huge crowd for RAW last night. Going to have somewhere close to 100k at Mania. The fans were going absolutely crazy for the closing angle. I can't imagine people there saying they didn't enjoy themselves. If you don't think all the cool WWE programming on the Network is worth $10 a month, that's great, you made the right call. Lots more people like me still enjoy the product. So who should WWE cater to? Me or you? If enough business metrics are heading south, then you will see changes. But right now, the majority of metrics are improving. So why would they change course? |

From what I heard the fans were cheering HHH beating Roman Reigns?
Drave is not the only one who stopped watching, many people have, check the ratings. |

I also don't acknowledge Reigns getting massive pops. Ambrose easily gets bigger pops consistently. He gets pops, not massive, and they are LARGELY mixed (hence the Cena reference). I also never said they should stop pushing him, just that it is the same ole formula and boring as fuck. They can have huge crowds any given night, especially following a PPV. You think the place went nuts because Reigns was getting over or because HHH came off as a fucking badass and more people want to see THAT level of aggression? Surely you are joking if you believe people were cheering for Reigns (unless you REALLY wanna be tongue-in-cheek saying the cheers for him getting his ass beat are cheers regardless) Mania will always sell itself based on name alone, period. The backlog of content is great, no doubt. It also servers as a reminder that they could do much better if they actually tried harder. When they had competition, they were much better, out of necessity to defeat competition. TL;DR They can do what they want (and will regardless). It isn't for me as I don't get any "entertainment" from it anymore and therefore will no longer support them as a business. If they change their game in the future, I'll reconsider. You also like to spin things and are inconsistent with your "arguments". |

WrestleMania this year has an early 2000's feel to it. WMX7, WMX8, WMXIX - all fantastic WrestleManias.
Shane/Undertaker will be Taker's most entertaining match in years. It will be like Undertaker/Flair at WrestleMania was - except Shane is more agile and takes bumps. |

I have my doubts that a 46 year old Shane McMahon who hasn't wrestled in 6 years and has three kids is going to be taking all that many bumps.
