I totally need to post my entire roster with some background info on the 'game exclusive' guys and who's heel/face. It'd clarify a few things. In the meantime, the Rock is on Raw for his draft picks! Who's going to be first of seven that will leave with the Rock to SmackDown!?

The Rock pushes the randomizer button....here's the screen to display the first draft pick.

And it's.....

....SEAN O'HAIRE!!! The star on the rise is heading for what may be greener pastures. He had plans to take out Randy Orton as his progression through the Evolution ranks would've ended up with a confrontation with the Viper. Those plans may be kaput if Orton remains on Raw. Of course, a rematch with Batista may also be inevitable when and if Batista recovers from being brutalized at WrestleMania.

....NATALYA! The former Hart Dynasty member is on her way back to where she first debuted. How will she fare in possible matches against SmackDown! newcomers Kianna and Frost?

Monday Night Raw – May 30, 2011
The Miz is in the ring, explaining his actions last week. Rey Mysterio comes out to confront him. Then Alberto Del Rio joins in. Finally, John Cena as well. Everybody argues before the Raw GM makes a main event tag team match for tonight.

Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne face off against Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. Excellent match, 90% quality. The United States champion grabs the win after pinning Hawkins via Trouble in Paradise. After the bout, Drew McIntyre hits the ring and plants Kofi with a Future Shock. Drew joins the list of men staking their claim at a title shot.

Nikki Bella vs. Kelly Kelly. Nobody cares until Kharma hits the ring and flattens everybody, continuing her string of complete dominance that has lasted for a month now.

Kharma actually grabs a microphone and tells a horrified Brie Bella that the destruction will not stop until she receives a shot at the Divas Title.

John Morrison and Johnny Curtis meet in a match that’s about as mediocre as it gets. A Truth interference botch leads to a Morrison win via Starship Pain. Morrison fights off both after. It won’t be too much longer before Morrison and Truth meet mano-a-mano in the ring again.

A video is played hyping the forthcoming return of…*inhales deeply* *quick exhale*…Gooooooldusssssst.

Punk/Tarver vs. Show/Kane for the tag titles. The ref winds up banning the other members of Nexus midway through. However, that doesn’t stop DARREN YOUNG from jumping over the barrier and neutralizing Big Show, clipping his knees and knocking him off the apron while the ref didn’t see it. This distracted Kane, who walked into a huge GTS from Punk for the title retain.

Punk brings out the other Nexus members to celebrate. He reminds everybody that he and Young go way back to the first season of NXT, when Young was his rookie and didn’t listen. Well after seeing him on NXT 5, he realized he finally changed and is ready to make an impact. As such, he officially re-inducted Young into the Nexus. Young slips on his armband and celebrates. The Nexus is now a huge force, back to 7 members.

Jack Swagger vs. Dolph Ziggler. ANOTHER 90% quality match, this has been a quality episode of Raw. After a great back-and-forth bout, Swagger cinches in the Ankle Lock. Ziggler makes it to the ropes and rolls out, retreating to the back and living to fight another day.

Ziggler doesn’t even make it up the ramp before the Raw GM chimes in. Michael Cole begrudgingly announces that Swagger will be granted another chance at Ziggler in a rematch next week.

Shit hot crowd for the tag main event. The heel team act all chickenshit-like, trying to avoid making in-ring contact with their respective opponents. Del Rio and Miz have a miscommunication that leads to Miz being dropped onto the middle rope. 6-1-9, then Miz stumbles back into an Attitude Adjustment for the loss. Cena and Rey stand tall tonight, but will they be doing so at Capitol Punishment?

NXT: Redemption – May 31, 2011
JTG and Chavo Guerrero meet in a battle of “hey, my rookie is no longer on NXT!” because I’m forced to have 3 matches. Chavo wins via Frog Splash.

Lucky Cannon and Maryse plot backstage. This nets Lucky overness points. Guess being paired with a super hot blonde doesn’t work only if you’re Ted DiBiase.

Lucky Cannon vs. Conor O’Brien. Maryse’s attempted interference goes slightly awry and allows O’Brian to plant his finisher for the win. As he celebrates, Maryse low-blows him, allowing Lucky to recover and hit a finisher of his own. Although he may have lost the match, Lucky has made an impact.

Byron Saxton cuts a halfway decent promo, hyping his upcoming match.

Titus O’Neil vs. Byron Saxton. Horrible match as Titus once again didn’t sell. Saxton picks up a huge, surprisingly clean, victory following his facebuster finisher thingy.

And with the 3rd elimination of NXT, Titus O’Neil is going home. That’ll teach you to no-sell, you bastard! Matt Striker announces that there are 2 weeks left for rookies to get their redemption, and that another elimination will be next week.

WWE Superstars – June 2, 2011
Drew McIntyre vs. David Hart Smith. Pretty solid opening contest that sees Drew get the win following a Future Shock.

Raw Rebound.

Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty. Bog standard tag team bout, once the face team begins to get an advantage – Mason Ryan and David Otunga hop into the ring and join in on an attack. 4 on 2 beatdown ensues, the Nexus ends the Raw portion of the show standing tall.

SmackDown Rebound.

Trent Barreta vs. Tyson Kidd. Spectacular main event, 90% match quality. After a long match, Chavo Guerrero interjects and trips up Barreta. Kidd capitalizes with a huge DDT before locking in a Sharpshooter for the win.

After the bout, Chavo gets on the mic. He tells Barreta he can beat him fair and square, and he plans on proving it next week!

Friday Night SmackDown – June 3, 2011
Theodore Long announces that as a result of the no contest last week, Orton and Henry will BOTH be number one contenders. Triple threat match at Capitol Punishment for the belt. In addition, all three men will compete in special one-on-one matches tonight.

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes. Fantastic opener, surprised at how well these two guys gelled. Ted DiBiase runs out and tries to help Rhodes (Legacy represent!) but fails. Rhodes eats an RKO for the loss. Rhodes and DiBiase beat down Orton after until Sin Cara runs in for the save and lands a couple huge high-flying maneuvers.

Alex Riley and Brodus Clay self promotion interview. No real reason for it, just keeping them on screen on a week I have nothing for them to do.

Layla vs. Tamina. This predictably didn’t go well at all after the intense opener that sucked the energy out of the crowd. Anyway, Layla gets the win. Kharma comes out after and destroys both.

Kharma reiterates her point from Monday. Until she gets her Divas Title match, the relentless destruction of the divas roster will continue.

Daniel Bryan vs. Heath Slater. Decent enough match. Ezekiel Jackson and William Regal ensure Wade Barrett and Skip Sheffield stay neutralized at ringside long enough for Bryan to win via LeBell Lock. Bryan points at Barrett, and the announcers (correctly) speculate that he wants an Intercontinental Title match.

Kane vs. Mark Henry. Holy hell, an 84% match quality out of Mark Henry. Back and forth hoss battle sees Henry win cleanly with the World’s Strongest Slam. Henry adds a few big splashes to Kane after, adding insult to injury.

After the highlights are shown, Kane slowly gets to his feet. This doesn’t last long – as Sheamus sneaks into the ring and blindsides him with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus is clearly frustrated after being left out of the title picture, but why would he pick Kane of all people to vent his frustration on?

Jinder Mahal vs. Yoshi Tatsu. Pretty basic match here, decent enough. Mahal grabs his first real WWE win with a move he calls the Sands of Time. After the match, The Great Khali comes out and stares down Mahal – only to pick up Tatsu and drop him with a Punjabi Plunge. Bah gawd has Mahal brainwashed Khali?

Interview with The Corre, specifically Wade Barrett. Barrett addresses Bryan and infers that he hasn’t earned a title shot yet. But onto tonight, he’s been selected to face Christian – and that Champion vs. Champion match is up NEXT!

Christian vs. Wade Barrett. Definitely a main event quality bout, need to file that information away for later. Unfortunately, it has a standard TV main event finish as Mark Henry comes in for the DQ ending. Randy Orton runs in before the beatdown can get too big, and he lands an RKO on Barrett. Henry escapes as Christian and Orton have an intense staredown to end the show.

-----

And now for this week’s elimination!

Number drawn: 146

Tito Colon has been released

-----

Release Tally
Week 1: Chris Masters
Week 2: Stone Cold Steve Austin
Week 3: Jimmy Uso
Week 4: Justin Gabriel
Week 5: Tito Colon

---

Meh, no great loss. There's a chance he would have wound up on one of my NXT seasons, but I've got enough guys in development to plug into those spots.

Championship roll call:

WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Evan Bourne - won title after WrestleMania from Matt Stryker when Austin pointed out the contract stipulation that the winner in the cruiserweight six-man match would get a title shot. Stryker has since snapped and turned heel against Bourne. The two are scheduled for a match at Judgment Day.

WWE Diva's Champion: Mickie James - won title from Melina back in November. Next scheduled defense is Judgment Day against Veronica.

WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Status Quo (Bret Banderas and Brian York) - won titles after WrestleMania from Rob Conway and Jamie Noble. Next scheduled defense is Judgment Day against Edge & Christian who shockingly returned on a recent edition of Superstars to win a Tag Team Turmoil match to become number one contenders.

WWE U.S. Heavyweight Champion: R-Truth - won title from Pete Shapiro in a rematch at Backlash. Has since formed the Posse with JTG and Shad. No upcoming title defenses at the moment.

WWE Intercontinental Champion: MVP - won title from Rhyno at Survivor Series. Next scheduled defense at Judgment Day against William Regal.

World Heavyweight Champion: Jason Collins - won title from Kofi Kingston at Royal Rumble. Next scheduled defense is at Judgment Day against Ted DiBiase, Jr. who has decided to cash in his floating title shot granted to him from his SummerSlam 2014 victory. Despite some legal issues, Collins, ever the fighter and pissed at Ted's rather aggressive debut against the champion on SmackDown!, has accepted the match.

WWE Heavyweight Title: Scott Blackmore - was awarded title after Austin stripped Chris Sylvain after it was determined that Randy Orton had effectively brutalized him to the point where he could not defend the title within a 30 day period the night after Backlash. Scott Blackmore used his Money in the Bank contract to override Austin's attempt to hold a tournament to crown a new champion. Next scheduled defense is against Mr. Kennedy on the next edition of Raw.

Finlay, Kane, Gregory Helms, and Shawn Michaels are all non-wrestlers. I don't want to let Finlay go just yet because he might be useful in some segments in order to get some people over plus I'm hoping he becomes a trainer. Kane will effectively be benched after his match with Cody Rhodes at Judgment Day. I don't want him getting snagged by the other promotions. Helms I might toss. Michaels will be used in a storyline that Ian Moore is currently involved in. Speaking of which, here's the Judgment Day card:

Ian Moore vs. John 'Bradshaw' Layfield:
Moore made the edict the SmackDown! after WrestleMania; he would defeat every single wrestler on the SmackDown! roster which will give him the right to challenge the World Heavyweight Champion at the time when his quest is over. JBL made the bid to take Moore under his wing believing that Moore is on a dead-end path. Moore's refusal has rubbed JBL the wrong way leading the two to agree to a match at the PPV. If Moore fails to secure a victory, he will have no choice but to align with the self-made millionaire and help him on his quest to the World Heavyweight Title.

WWE Diva's Title: Mickie James (c) vs. Veronica
Already explained in the above roll call.

WWE Intercontinental Title: MVP (c) vs. William Regal
See above.

WWE Cruiserweight Title: Evan Bourne (c) vs. Matt Stryker
See above.

WWE Unified Tag Team Titles: The Status Quo vs. Edge and Christian
See above.

Kane vs. Cody Rhodes
Stemming from Kane's absolute disgust over Rhodes calling himself disfigured and grotesque from a simple nose injury, this has evolved into a blood feud of disastrous proportions. Made even worse by this match being an Inferno Match, this battle of the grotesques will not be for the faint of heart. Will Rhodes be able to finally quell the WWE of the monster Kane or will Kane show Rhodes what disfigurement really is?

Sean O'Haire vs. Randy Orton
In a stroke of serendipity, both Orton and O'Haire were drafted to SmackDown!, helping to fulfill O'Haire's plans to reach the top of the WWE by eliminating those who enjoyed the spotlight long before him. Orton is O'Haire's last target and after much prodding, Orton has agreed to take up the psychotic up-and-comer on his challenge but will it be a wasted effort in a last stand or will Orton prove to be too much?

World Heavyweight Title: Jason Collins (c) vs. Ted DiBiase, Jr.
See championship roll call above.

Results later.

Fate can be so cruel. Big clothesline on JBL. Double Arm DDT by Moore, JBL got destroyed. John Bradshaw Leyfield can barely stand. Here it comes - Epiphany. 1....2...3, it's finished. That was good. **** rating.

Winner: Ian Moore via pinfall after the Epiphany.

Evan Bourne vs Matt Stryker (For The WWE Cruiserweight Title) : Flying elbow from Evan Bourne. Spinning bulldog in the corner, Stryker is down. Hooks the leg for a two count. Matt Stryker pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Stiff high kick on Bourne by Matt Stryker who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Flying elbow from Matt Stryker. Cover for a two count. Vicious kick to the teeth from Matt Stryker. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Flying elbow from Matt Stryker. Bourne powers out of a headlock. Hooks the leg for a close fall. Bourne hits a dropkick on Matt Stryker. Stiff high kick on Stryker by Evan Bourne who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Evan Bourne misses a clothesline. Driven DDT by Matt Stryker. The ring shook violently, instantly making it better at selling than some of the current roster. Bourne walks into a face crusher variation. The referee bumps after catching a wild right hand and is down. Evan Bourne knocks Stryker to the outside, then signals for the Airbourne. He reaches out of the ring for Matt Stryker...and gets clobbered with the ring bell! Right to the head! The referee wakes up to see Stryker sliding in and making the pinfall: 1....2....3! Forget about it. Matt Stryker leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle at speed. Stryker has the victory, and isn't hanging around for Evan Bourne to look for revenge. That was good. **** rating.

Winner and new champion: Matt Stryker via cheating.

Mickie James vs Veronica (For The WWE Diva's Title) : Mickie James snap suplexes Veronica. Veronica walks into a stiff lariat clothesline from Mickie. Hard impact russian legsweep by Mickie. If you're going to get impact, 'hard' is probably a good way to go. Veronica takes a butterfly suplex from Mickie. Mickie James gets taken down out of nowhere. Rude Awakening on Mickie James by Veronica. Mickie gets hit with a huge clothesline. Cover for a two count. Mickie reverses a Veronica hammerlock. Vicious snap suplex! Veronica got whipped over hard. There's a two count on the pin. Wicked Tiger Suplex by Mickie James on Veronica. Pin, but Veronica is out just before the three count. Veronica ducks a clothesline attempt. Mickie receives some punishment. Veronica gets taken down out of nowhere. Big dropkick by Mickie James, who got good elevation. Veronica can barely stand. DDT!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! This was missing something, so it only gets a ****1\2 rating.

Winner and still champion: Mickie James via pinfall after DDT.

Montel Vontavious Porter vs William Regal (For The WWE Intercontinental Title) : Chanelling the spirit of Misawa, Montel Vontavious Porter uses a forearm to the face. Regal receives some punishment. Big backdrop on Regal, executed well. Bodyslam by MVP. Regal powers out of a headlock. Big dropkick by William Regal, who got good elevation. William Regal hits a bulldog off the ropes. Hooks the leg for a two count. MVP counters a sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker. Driven full nelson slam on Regal. Hooks the leg for a two count. MVP pulls a jumping piledriver out! Hooks the leg for a close fall. Regal blocks a punch. MVP gets caught with a belly to belly suplex from Regal. MVP counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face. Big clothesline on Regal. Montel Vontavious Porter moves in for the kill. Playmaker! 1....2....3. I'm slapping a ****1\4 rating on this.

Winner and still champion: MVP via pinfall after Playmaker

Cody Rhodes vs Kane : Kane gets caught with a belly to belly suplex from Rhodes. Cody Rhodes throws Kane toward the flames, but Kane is able to put the brakes on in time. Big clothesline on Kane. Vertical suplex by Cody Rhodes. Kane ducks a clothesline attempt. Kane holds Rhodes near the flames. Spear by Kane. Rhodes blocks a kick from Kane. Spear by Cody Rhodes. Powerbomb on Kane. Cody Rhodes misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Rhodes receives some punishment. Kane misses a clothesline. Back elbow connects, Kane staggers backward. Cody Rhodes moves in for the kill. Here it comes - CrossRhodes. 1....2...3, it's finished. That was good. **** rating.

Winner: Cody Rhodes via....uh...pinfall??

The Status Quo vs Edge \ Christian (For The WWE Unified Tag Team Titles) : Stiff high kick on Edge by Brian York who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Flying elbow from Brian York. There's a two count on the pin. Tag between Brian York and Bret Banderas. The Status Quo whip Edge into the corner. Brian York whips Bret Banderas in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Hooks the leg for a two count. Flying shoulder tackle by Banderas sends Edge to the mat. Edge reverses a waistlock. Edge hits a bulldog off the ropes. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tag between Edge and Christian. Flying cross body off the top rope! Even Steamboat would have applauded the execution on that. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Hard back suplex on Banderas. Anyone remember when that was Shawn Michaels's finisher? Banderas counters a sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker. Rude Awakening on Christian by Banderas. Tag between Bret Banderas and Brian York. York hits a right hand. Tag to Edge. Flying elbow from Brian York. Edge has lost it! He floors Brian York and starts raining down punches like a psycho! The referee tries to break it up...and gets thrown to one side. The referee is calling for the DQ! Edge has caused a DQ through his hatred of Brian York. I don't think the fight has finished. The Status Quo and Edge \ Christian have begun brawling again! They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view. A ****1\2 rating for a great match.

Winners and still champions: The Status Quo via DQ after Edge goes off the deep end.

Randy Orton vs Sean O'Haire : Sean O'Haire fires off some right and left hands. Kick from Sean O'Haire to the leg. Big dropkick by Sean O'Haire, who got good elevation. Sean O'Haire hits a rolling kick on Orton. Sean O'Haire misses a clothesline. Big clothesline on O'Haire. Devastating face-first slam from Orton on O'Haire. Hooks the leg for a two count. O'Haire powers out of a headlock. Flying cross body off the top rope! Even Steamboat would have applauded the execution on that. Cover for a two count. Orton walks into a face crusher variation. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Orton kicks Sean O'Haire in the gut to reverse the momentum. Stiff chop lights up O'Haire. Sean O'Haire avoids a Randy Orton avalanche. Big clothesline on Orton. Sean O'Haire moves in for the kill. Cruel Intentions!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Great match, a ****1\4 rating i think.

Wait a minute. Looking back at the replay, Orton was pretty close to the ropes. Orton had his foot on the bottom rope but O'Haire blocked the ref's view of it and he kicked it off after the referee counted the pin and called for the bell. Orton appears to have been screwed somewhat.

Ted DiBiase, Jr. vs Jason Collins (For The World Heavyweight Title) : Double arm suplex by Jason Collins, DiBiase hits hard. DiBiase kicks Jason Collins in the gut to reverse the momentum. DiBiase slams Jason Collins. DiBiase whips Collins into the turnbuckles...and predictably, the referee gets sandwiched. Devastating Tiger Driver 91 very nearly crushes the neck of Collins. Misawa is probably laughing with glee at the moment. Cover, but there's no one to count for Ted DiBiase, Jr.. Here comes a second official. Jason Collins avoids a Ted DiBiase, Jr. avalanche. Hard impact russian legsweep by Collins. If you're going to get impact, 'hard' is probably a good way to go. Devastating face-first slam from Collins on DiBiase. Cover for a two count. Springboard dropkick from Jason Collins. Nicely done. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Ted DiBiase, Jr. elbows Jason Collins in the face to break a hammerlock. DiBiase looks for Dream Street but Collins pushes off the turnbuckle and it's Survivor Series 1996 all over again as the two fall back. The referee counts...1...2...3! Your winner....and new World Heavyweight Champion, Ted DiBiase? Wait, the original referee has come over to the timekeeper and announcer and discusses something. Your winner and still World Champion, Jason Collins!!! It appears we have conflicting reports over whose shoulders were down. DiBiase is adamant that he's won.

IF YOU SMELL.....!!! Here comes the SmackDown! GM to try make sense of everything. The refs each plead their case. The Rock calls for the replay. It appears that DiBiase may have gotten a shoulder up but it's hard to tell. The Rock demands that the match be restarted!!! DiBiase is irate.

Ted DiBiase, Jr. vs. Jason Collins: Round Two: DiBiase tries Dream Street agains but Collins falls forward causing DiBiase to fall into the turnbuckle. Jason Collins moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Fall From Heaven. 1....2...3, it's finished. Great match, a ****1\4 rating i think.

Winner and still champion: Jason Collins via pinfall after restart.

DiBiase isn't finished and proceeds to just destroy Collins after the bell. Dream Street through the announce table!!! We go off the air with DiBiase holding the World Heavyweight Title over his head.

Overall rating: 92%

End of the month proceedings:
Ivory has left TNA. I might snag her as a manager if I can convince her to become one. Otherwise, meh.

William Regal has become a non-wrestler. Good thing I didn't book him to go over at Judgment Day.

The Rock will retire at the end of the month. Well, we needed a new GM on SmackDown!. Regal might fit. Or HBK. We'll see how it goes.

Everytime I give it another chance I give up within a week's worth of shows.
So I've been playing TEW now and I've actually gotten around the whole need to book a lot of promos thing naturally through my attention to detail too.

I book EVERY little thing. Opening pyros, upcoming match graphics before commercials, workers walking to the ring before commercial, rundowns of the upcoming PPV by the announcers, etc. I'm running TNA as sports entertainment and I've yet to have a problem with not enough non-wrestling through 20 shows.

Oh, hey, I still have this thing going...

MARCH 18, 2005 - SMACKDOWN!

The first show with the new SmackDown! roster kicks off with two guys looking to catch the eye of the WWE brass as Harlowe takes on Richard J. Criado. Unfortunately, the guy whose eye they caught was Randy Orton, who slides into the ring, hitting both men with an RKO and leaving them laying.

The Cruiserweight Division is still going strong on Friday nights, and we have a ten-man tag match to prove it. Nova brings Air Paris, Derrick King, Spike Dudley, and the returning Grandmaster Sexay to take on The Miz, Matt Stryker, Pepper Parks, Avery Thompson, and the debut of... CHRIS FUCKING SABIN! (copyright TPWW 2005). Exciting match, but Sabin is the real star here, picking up the win by hitting King with the Future Shock.

Just Joe returns to a "Who?" response, but that's okay because his match with the debuting Shark Boy wins them over by the end. One Deep Sea Drop later, and the skinny guy with a shark mask is 1-0!

Nunzio and Chris Kanyon team with a debuting Michael Shane to take on the SAT (Joel and Jose Maximo) and the returning X-Pac, whose pop nearly blows the roof off the arena. Another exciting match showcasing the cruiserweights that former champion Pac wins with the X-Factor on Shane.

Shelton Benjamin and Chavo Guerrero are out next, and they put on a solid match to show that there are some WWE mainstays that are hungry for an opportunity on the new-look Friday Night SmackDown! Shelton wins an excellent technical encounter with the Dragon Whip. He offers his hand to Chavo, but is shunned and Chavo walks to the back to a chorus of boos.

United States Champion Damien teams with a debuting Steve Corino in our next contest as they take on Corino's fellow debuting ECW alumni Perry Saturn and Sandman in a tag match! Decent match that doesn't live up to the previous few. In the end, miscommunication between the heels allows Saturn to hit Corino with a Death Valley Driver. After the match, Damien chokeslams Corino and walks off angrily.

Fortunately, after the disappointing match that preceded it, the Rey Mysterio/Randy Orton match is a masterpiece. The crowd is 100% into it as both men hit all of their signature high spots. Rey gets the clean win with the West Coast Pop, but Orton hits an RKO after the bell to get some of his heat back. This definitely looks like it could be the start of a huge program here on SmackDown!

Due to Rene Dupree being future endeavored, the WWE Tag Team Titles are vacant and up-for-grabs in this four-team elimination match! It's the Dudley Boyz vs. M'n'M vs. the Hardy Boyz vs. the debuting team of Elix Skipper and Kid Romeo! The rookies are the first to go as "Primetime" Skipper eats a Twist of Fate from Cruiserweight Champion Matt Hardy Version 2.0. The Dudleyz put M'n'M away with the 3-D, only for Bubba to get taken out by a surprise Swanton from Jeff Hardy allowing the boys from Cameron to steal the match and the belts!

Tajiri is backstage, being pumped up by Don Callis. The former Jackal is hyping up the Buzzsaw for his next match.

And his hype must have worked, because the match between Tajiri and Rhyno is our second Match of the Year candidate! Absolutely brutal contest between the former Network partners ends with Callis distracting his former charge, allowing Tajiri to blast the Kick Of Death for the win. After the match, Callis eats a Gore and Tajiri cuts and runs. This is definitely not the last we've seen of these two!

And in our main event, SmackDown!'s new top title is introduced when NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett makes his return in a match against Eddie Guerrero. It's a good match, but Jarrett takes advantage of a ref bump to blast Eddie with his trademark guitar and pick up the cheap win. Once Eddie regains consciousness, he goes right after Jarrett, and the show fades to black with the two still brawling!

MARCH 21, 2005 - MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Raw kicks off with WWE Chairman Eric Bischoff makes his way to the ring, and he's smiling. Which can't POSSIBLY be a good thing. The announcers speculate on the identity of the third man on the RAW Authority Committee, hype a seven-man gauntlet for a Television Title shot at Backlash and the huge champion-vs-champion main event as he enters the ring. "Well, I'm sure you heard the news from this weekend. Nineteen Superstars getting their walking papers. What you probably missed was the thirty-seven developmental deals that were cut as well. Well, here's the deal. And this is not a knock on any of these fifty-six men and women, but I have a business to run. There were almost 200 people under my watch and - great as I am - there's just no way to get all of them into six hours of television a week. Which leads me to the point of this whole thing: competition. This whole business is about who wants it more. And we're going to find out. Starting Wednesday night on Superstars, we're going to have a series of battle royals. Ten men in each match. The winner will receive a title shot later in the night. And you want to survive as long as you can. Because I'm going to randomly pick a number while the match is going on. And whatever number I draw, I'm going to fire that many of the participants, in the order they were eliminated. I'm calling it Feast Or Famine. One man may win a title. Nine may lose their jobs. Let's get to competing!"

Our opening match tonight pits Mickie James and newcomer Trinity against Jazz and Molly Holly. These four have to be considered among the top contenders for the Women's Title, which is up in the air due to Trish Stratus' injury. Solid match between the four Divas that Mickie is set to win with her tornado DDT on Molly. As she swings up into the air, Trinity snatches her out of midair and slams her down. Mickie is in shock and walks right into the Molly Go Round, giving the heels the win. After the match, Victoria and Gail Kim hit the ring to make the save, driving off the three heels. (80% overall for a divas' tag match?)

The TV Title #1 Contender gauntlet kicks off as Erik Watts takes on the Disco Inferno. Pretty bland match that Disco wins with the Chartbuster.

Disco recovers from the abuse he sustained at the larger man's hands. "Oh, you didn't know?!?" The crowd erupts as the D-O-Double-G makes his way to the ring. Slightly better match than its predecessor that Road Dogg wins with the Dogg Pound.

As Dogg celebrates, he gets blindsided by Buff Bagwell. After a brief beatdown, Buff hits the Blockbuster for the win.

The hour one main event is another gauntlet match as Bagwell takes on Rob Van Dam. Best match of the gauntlet so far, which isn't really saying much, but a solid match. RVD hits a Five-Star Frogsplash for the win to move on.

It's a battle of the frogsplashes next as RVD battles D'Lo Brown, and they pick right up where they left off last week in a fantastic match. D'Lo grabs a handful of tights on a roll-up for the cheap win, knocking RVD out of contention. RVD walks off in anger as D'Lo celebrates being one win away from a TV Title shot.

Taiyo Kea is D'Lo's last opponent in the series, and D'Lo definitely takes him lightly. However during a moment of distraction, RVD returns to the ring and takes D'Lo out with a big kick allowing Kea to hit the Hawaiian Smasher for the upset victory! Afterwards, RVD hits the Five-Star Frogsplash and plays to the crowd. He winds up hitting another and another, which pops the crowd huge before walking off, leaving D'Lo laying.

Stephanie McMahon is backstage, and she congratulates Kea on his win and makes the Backlash match official - Brock Lesnar defending the Television Title against Taiyo Kea!

And now for our huge main event as the WWE Champion The Rock takes on Television Champion Brock Lesnar. Neither title is on the line, but a ton of bragging rights are. These two continue to show that they have remarkable chemistry as they put on another great show. The end comes as Rock prepares to hit the Rock Bottom, only to get blindsided by a flying leg lariat from Sabu! The homicidal, genocidal, suicidal, death-defying maniac goes to work on Rock, picking up on what he did last week.

"Pomp And Circumstance" hits the speakers, and the crowd erupts. The announcers lose their shit as "Macho Man" Randy Savage comes to the ring. He gets in Sabu's face and tells him that what he just did to Rock may have flown in those other places, but that's not the way we do things here. If Sabu wants his shot at The Rock, he'll get it. But he has to wait until Backlash! Rock and Sabu stare each other down as RAW fades to black.

I felt bad about it. I sent him a nice fruit basket and I gave him my cell number, so I'll hook him up with tickets and stuff when we're in the midwest. Have a beer and shoot some pool or something.

MARCH 23, 2005 - SUPERSTARS

As Superstars kicks off, the ring is full of... well... superstars. The night is kicking off with the Feast Or Famine battle royal! The winner will challenge Dave Batista for the Intercontinental Title later tonight. And Eric Bischoff has said that any number of competitors in this match could wind up in the unemployment line. The longer you last, the better your chance of keeping your job!

The match starts with the typical battle royal clusterfuck brawling as Akio, BJ Whitmer, Brian Kendrick, Christian York, Chuck Palumbo, Funaki, Johnny Stamboli, Julio Dinero, Payne, and Trent Acid go to work. Christian York ensures that Dinero is the first casualty and walks to the back dejected. Unless Eric Bischoff draws a zero tonight, Dinero knows he's gone! The rest of the ring watches him walk away, each man knowing that there's a distinct chance that their careers, too, may be over. York strikes again, breaking the silence by cheap-shotting Payne and dumping him to the floor. From there, the match returns to chaos. York's New Generation teammate Whitmer is the next one out, thanks to Chuck Palumbo. Meanwhile Palumbo's partner Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli makes quick work of Brian Kendrick, Akio, and Trent Acid, and there are four men remaining.

The odds are in the favor of each man in the ring for keeping his job, but nobody wants to take the chance, and they all want the title opportunity. York's reign of terror comes to an end next as Funaki dumps him out. From there, Funaki realizes he's outnumbered by the Natural Born Thrillers. Stamboli and Palumbo take turns taking shots at Funaki, and - indeed - things don't look good. Palumbo winds up for a Jungle Kick, but Funaki ducks it, and Palumbo's momentum sends him over the top and to the floor! Funaki turns around in shock, only to get blasted by Fugettabout It and bundled out. Johnny The Bull wins the Feast Or Famine match!

Vince Russo (?!?) appears on the TitanTron and announces that Eric Bischoff put him in charge of discipline for the Superstars roster, starting with Feast Or Famine. He has arrived to announce who is departing.

"Julio Dinero?
Gone.
Payne?
Fired.
BJ Whitmer?
Terminated.
Brian Kendrick?
Unemployed.
Akio?
...safe.

"Mister Bischoff drew the number four tonight, so Dinero, Payne, Whitmer, and Kendrick are off to the unemployment line. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. And let that be a warning to the rest of the Superstars roster: Vince Russo is your new Director Of Authority, and you will respect me!"

Back from break, Natural Born Thrillers Sean O'Haire and Mike Sanders are in the ring. Their stablemates Stamboli and Palumbo looked good in the battle royal, and they're looking for a similar showing in this non-title match against America's Most Wanted. Solid tag match between the two duos, but the rise of AMW continues as they hit Sanders with the Death Sentence for the win. Afterwards, O'Haire gets in Sanders' face, blaming him for the loss.

A short video plays, hyping A-Train, trying to make him still look relevant.

Another tag match follows with Rico Constantino and The Hurricane teaming up to take on the "Hip-Hop Heels" Konnan and Ron Killings. Decent match that doesn't live up to the one before it ends with Konnan getting Rico to tap out to the Tequila Sunrise.

Backstage, Paul Heyman hypes up Shane Douglas, saying that the Franchise of Wednesday nights is here!

The X Division is on display in our next match as Paul London takes on Kid Kash. The match would likely be better if Kash put more into it, but it's still pretty good. London misses a London Calling attempt, but lands on his feet, only to be rolled up by Kash, who gets his feet on the middle rope for leverage. Kash steals one! Afterwards, London and Kash brawl up the ramp and out of view.

Backstage, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho of the Nova Scotia Cosa Nostra talk some trash about John Cena and X Champion AJ Styles, hyping their six-man tag main event as well as continuing the feud that started last week.

Our next match is for the Intercontinental Championship! "Nature Boy" Dave Batista has a distinct advantage, both as the defending champion, and the fact that Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli already had to fight nine men not only to earn this match but to keep his job! Stamboli is definitely feeling the effects of FoF early, as Batista pummels him with punches and clotheslines. Stamboli gets in some hope spots, but Batista works him up for a Batista Bomb only for The Bull to punch his way out of it and hit Fugettabout It out of nowhere for the surprise three-count. Batista is stunned, and - honestly - so is Stamboli as he lifts the Intercontinental Title in triumph!

Back from commercial, the arena is in total darkness. A heavy metal riff hits and the same strobes we saw last week light up the crowd. When they come back up, the icon Sting is in the ring, baseball bat in hand. He points the bat at the ramp, then makes the "belty" motion. Sting wants Christian!

Cena and Styles come to the ring, as they're Sting's partners for this match. "Just Close Your Eyes" hits, and the arena erupts in a chorus of boos as the World Champion Christian comes to the ring with Benoit and Jericho. It's Sting, Cena, and Styles versus the Nova Scotia Cosa Nostra! The crowd is hot for the match, and all six main-eventers play to them. Eventually the match breaks down into chaos, and Sting takes advantage by setting up for the Scorpion Death Drop. Christian wriggles his way out of it and twists his way into the Unprettier for the win!

I'm already heading into No Mercy 2016 (October) so I've got some stuff to post in order to catch everybody up. Here's Night of Champions, the PPV after Judgment Day:

Spinning back kick from Alex Furious. Stryker ducks a wild right hand. Stryker hits a dropkick on Alex Furious. Tornado DDT from Matt Stryker, Furious got planted. Matt Stryker floors Furious near the ropes and makes the pin. Stryker is using the ropes for leverage! The referee hasn't seen it: 1....2....3!! I'm slapping a ****1\4 rating on this.

WINNER and STILL WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Matt Stryker

Edge \ Christian vs The New Frontier vs The Status Quo (For The WWE Unified Tag Team Titles) : Slingshot senton by Matthews, crushing the chest of Banderas. Pumphandle slam using a singapore cane between the legs on Banderas. Emerald Fusion by Scoot Andrews on Edge. The New Frontier whip York into the corner. HBK-style splash from the top of the ladder! Face slam on the table by Christian. York pulls a picture perfect fallaway slam out of the bag, driving Christian down to the mat. The Status Quo hook up Edge, then hit a double suplex. Super frankensteiner on Banderas, who hit hard. CRYME TYME IS HERE!!! The New Frontier get obliterated by the combined efforts of Shad and JTG. Matthews gets slammed hard onto the ladder. DDT from the top rope by Christian. That looked brutal. Hip toss onto a chair by Christian. Christian goes to slam York through a table, but he manages to escape. Banderas blocks the suplex attempt. Bret Banderas throws Edge into a ladder in the corner. York pulls a jumping piledriver out! Bret Banderas and Brian York go up the ladder and grab the prize for the win. Excellent match, a ***** rating!

Cody Rhodes gets whipped into the corner. MVP charges in, but into a pair of raised boots. Rhodes uses a roll up, with feet on the second rope! The referee hasn't seen it: 1....2....3!! Cody Rhodes leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle at speed. Rhodes has the victory, and isn't hanging around for Montel Vontavious Porter to look for revenge. Great match, a ****1\4 rating i think.

She raises Victoria up...but then falls backward, getting crushed by her opponent in the process! Victoria is on top! 1....2....3! Looking at the replay, it appears that Victoria had taken a chain out of her tights and wrapped it around her fist! Mickie James must have been punched with that chain while in mid-powerbomb! What a cheap shot! A ****1\4 rating, great bout.

Mr. Kennedy vs Scott Blackmore (For The WWE Heavyweight Title) : Blackmore takes a back suplex. Blackmore kicks Mr. Kennedy in the gut to reverse the momentum. Scott Blackmore fires off some right and left hands. The referee bumps after catching a wild right hand and is down. Back heel kick off the second rope, Kennedy goes flying. Hooks the leg, but the referee is still out. Kennedy powers out of a headlock. Vertical suplex by Mr. Kennedy. Gutwrench into a stomach breaker, Blackmore may be winded. MARCH 25, 2005 - SMACKDOWN!

Two championship matches, plus the second Feast Or Famine battle royal and a huge tag-team main event headline tonight's edition of SmackDown! But first, it's tag team action as the Dudley Boyz take on the team of Just Joe and Michael Shane. Joe and Shane work pretty well together as a team, but the experience advantage of Bubba and D-Von proves to be too much and Shane falls to the 3-D.

Back from commercial, ten superstars have filled the ring. Two nights ago, four Superstars superstars were given their pink slips. Eric Bischoff will be sending a representative to fire up to nine tonight, depending on the random number he draws. One man will face Damien for the United States Title tonight, everyone else is at risk! The match goes on for a while before the first elimination, but Avery Thompson is the first to go, courtesy of "Primetime" Elix Skipper. Thompson knows that unless Bischoff draws a zero, his WWE career has just come to an end. Shortly thereafter, Grandmaster Sexay dropkicks Spike Dudley over the top and to the floor. John Morrison sends Kid Romeo out next, followed by Air Paris taking out Chris FUCKING Sabin. Morrison gets his second elimination, sending Primetime out after Sabin, then quickly adds Joel Maximo to his hit list. But he takes a moment to celebrate, which allows Sexay to eliminate him as well. Then there were three, and one of them will face Damien for the United States Title tonight! Paris is the eighth man out, courtesy of Nova, leaving Nova and Grandmaster Sexay as the final two! The two friends put on a decent cruiserweight exhibition, but in the end it's Nova hitting the Spin Doctor allowing him to dump Sexay to the floor and earn the title shot.

"Psycho" hits the speakers, and the crowd isn't quite sure what to make of it until Sid (?!?) appears on the ramp dressed in an impossibly big suit. He announces that he's Eric Bischoff's disciplinary representative on SmackDown! He requests that the ten participants in the battle royal re-enter the ring. He says that, unlike Vince Russo on Wednesday night, he's not going to just read names. Because he is the master (and ruler) on Friday nights, he's going to do things his own way. He enters the ring and stares down the the ten of them. He then quickly turns and blasts Avery Thompson with a big boot to the face. He grips Spike Dudley around the throat and chokeslams him! He then grabs Kid Romeo and plants him with a powerbomb! He wheels on Chris Sabin who strikes a fighting pose. Sid starts laughing, then walks off. "If you're still standing, Mister Bischoff will see you in the ring next week."

Six-man cruiserweight action is next as X-Pac teams with Shark Boy and Jose Maximo to take on Chavo Guerrero, Nunzio, and one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Jeff Hardy. Decent match, but disappointing considering some of the talents involved. The heels get the win after Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb on Shark Boy.

Earlier tonight, Nova outlasted nine SmackDown superstars to earn this shot against the monstrous United States Champion Damien! Nova bumps like a madman for Damien, but he eventually catches the champion with a surprise high-flying move and takes advantage. Damien gets himself into a corner, and the referee pulls Nova off. As he turns to check on Damien, a mysterious masked man in green blasts Nova with a steel chair from behind! He slides out of the ring, allowing Damien to hit a Chokeslam for the win. After the match, Damien and his skull-masked associate put the boots to Nova. Damien gets Nova up on his shoulders for an electric chair while the man in green heads up to the top rope. He leaps off, then grabs the back of Nova's neck as Damien releases, turning the move into a modified Flatliner off his shoulders!

Damien grabs a microphone after the beating. He introduces his new associate as former WCW star Mortis. Together, they are going to take over Friday nights. Because starting tonight, there is no stopping Darkness Rising!

Three ECW alumni are out next for a three-way hardcore match as Perry Saturn, Sandman, and Steve Corino go toe-to-toe(-to-toe?). Terrible match that Corino puts to a merciful end by hitting the Old School Explosion on Sandman.

Last week, Eddie Guerrero failed to win the NWA Title after getting blasted in the head by Jeff Jarrett's guitar. Tonight, he has another chance to walk away with gold as he faces Cruiserweight Champion Matt Hardy Version 2.0! At one point, Eddie hits the Three Amigos, then heads to the top rope. However, he is distracted by Jarrett, who walks out onto the ramp. The momentary distraction allows Matt to slam Eddie from the top and hit the Twist of Fate for the win. After the match, Jarrett again takes Eddie out with a guitar shot.

The NWA Champion remains in the ring after the break, and he's got a match against Shelton Benjamin. Solid match that Jarrett wins with the Stroke. Afterwards, Eddie gets a measure of revenge, jumping Jarrett and hitting a Frogsplash! The camera catches a glimpse of Shelton Benjamin's bloody nose afterwards. Preliminary reports are that it's broken, but he shouldn't miss any time.

Randy Orton is in the ring after the break, talking about his loss to Rey Mysterio last week. He says that actions always have consequences. And for what Rey did last week, there will most certainly be a Backlash.

Tajiri comes to the ring next, as he's Orton's partner in tonight's main event against Mysterio and the manbeast Rhyno!

Rey. Rey counters a sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker. Rey hits a dropkick on Randy Orton. Tag between Rey Mysterio and Rhyno. Rhyno bodyslams Randy Orton. Tag to Tajiri. Flying shoulder tackle by Rhyno sends Tajiri to the mat. Tajiri is in trouble. Gore! GORE! GOOOOOOOORE!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! The fight has started up again! Rey \ Rhyno attacks Orton \ Tajiri, and they brawl all around ringside, then into the crowd! They eventually disappear backstage, still fighting. A **** rating for a good contest. Very good tag match that ends with Rhyno hitting the Gore and the babyfaces stand tall as we fade to black.

Jason Collins, Randy Orton, Sean Criss, and Shelton Benjamin defeated Sheamus, JBL, Sean O'Haire, and Rhyno. Last survivors: Collins and Orton last eliminating Sheamus.

WWE Champion The Miz pinned Kofi Kingston to retain the title.

World Heavyweight Champion Ted DiBiase pinned Edge to retain the title.

Overall rating: 91%.

Next in line: BRAGGING RIGHTS!!! No more Edge! We need a new Diva's Champion! What will the two GMs do to gain the upper hand in the Raw vs. SmackDown! battle at the PPV? Stay tuned for more of the good stuff!

Promotion Wars/EWR/TEW

I know this probably belongs in the video games or another forum, but it is primarily wrestling related so I figured it was a good place to get opinions, etc.

I was reminded earlier of my days playing Promotion Wars and Extreme Warfare. How many of you guys used to play or still play games like Promotion Wars, Extreme Warfare or Total Extreme Warfare?

I always loved being head booker/creative. I haven't played any of these games in years and would love to possibly start playing again. Does anyone know if/how I can get these games on my Macbook without running an emulator like Windows Parallel?

Also, feel free to share any of your best storylines/feuds if you used to or still play. I'd love to hear or get some ideas if I actually do get back into playing.

No, but my action figure promotion was great. Had a pretty large book full of all my "episode" cards and PPV cards. Shame I have no idea where that book is.

Would probably be a lot easier to do the intros for my action figure promotion these days with being able to play their songs from a laptop/iPod/whatever, rather than having to keep changing CD's.

yeahhh, that would have been amazing

closest I ever came to doing that was recording Ted DiBiase's music off the TV onto a cassette, making some variety of arena/entrance way from cereal/small cardboard boxes, decorating them with WWF stickers that I already had in my sticker book and making DiBiase vs. Virgil in my mini-arena the biggest match since Hogan/Andre

Lol yeah I pushed Kurrgan to the main event because for a while him, Goldust and Al Snow were the only actual wrestling action figures I had. Also I didn't even have many CD's back then so pretty much everybodies entrance themes were off The Offspring's 'Americana' or Greenday's 'Nimrod'.

When I think back I was definitely a very solid booker considering my age, although the 12 man elimination match (in which you get eliminated by being both pinned AND submitted) for the world title may have been a bit much.

For reasons I can't remember, I attempted to throw my friend's Chyna action figure over the roof of his house. Didn't make it. The Chyna figure remained on the roof in the same spot for years even after he had moved out. Would see it pretty much every day while coming home from school.

Used to play Promotion Wars back in the day. Lance Storm was always one of my main attractions.

Never got into Extreme Warfare. I was too lazy for all the work involved in it.

I just wrapped up a successful Backlash 2017 and in the process of building towards Judgment Day. I have some new wrestlers fresh from developmental to help break up some of the monotony. I've got Kane retiring at the end of the month and I might as well use him to help put one of the new guys over. Here are some quick results from Backlash:

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Mark Mason defeated Don Maiden to retain the title. 93%

Evan Bourne pinned Cash Stevens. 92%

WWE U.S. Heavyweight Champion Pete Shapiro pinned Drew McIntyre to retain the title. 94%

WWE Diva's Champion Natalya pinned Nicole Durgan to retain the title. 92%

AJ Styles and newly turned CM Punk defeated The Status Quo to win the WWE Unified Tag Team Titles. 97% (!)

Mr. Kennedy pinned Jack Swagger. 91%

Chris Sylvain defeated Batista by DQ. 94%

The Miz pinned Kofi Kingston in a triple threat match also involving WWE Champion John Morrison to win the title for a second time. 86%

Overall rating: 93%

For some reason, everything Kingston touches turns to crap despite some very impressive stats and wrestling guys who are also awesome. I'm thinking of just jobbing him out for a while to put over some new guys and just letting him go. Anywho, over on Raw, the Status Quo storyline is going to continue to evolve, Miz and Morrison have one more date with destiny, and Styles and Punk are going to try to make this tag title reign work. Over on SmackDown!, Rhodes and DiBiase are at odds, Ian Moore is taking his first steps towards being a successful World Heavyweight Champion, Sean Criss is eager to cash in his Money in the Bank contract but is apparently on the shelf, Sheamus and Rhyno seem to enjoy beating the hell out of each other, and newcomer Apocalypse has laid out the challenge to the Big Red Machine Kane! And best of all? No Mark Henry!!! Stay tuned!!!

Championship roll call:

World Heavyweight Champion: Ian Moore; won title at WrestleMania 33 from Jason Collins. Next scheduled defense: Judgment Day against Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase in a triple threat match

WWE Champion: The Miz; won title at Backlash 2017 from John Morrison in a triple threat match also involving Kofi Kingston. Next scheduled defense: John Morrison in a ladder match in two weeks on Raw

WWE U.S. Heavyweight Champion: Pete Shapiro; won title at Survivor Series 2016 from Cash Stevens. No upcoming defenses scheduled.

WWE Intercontinental Champion: MVP; won title at WrestleMania 33 from Cody Rhodes in a triple threat match also involving Bryan Danielson. Next scheduled defense: Sean O'Haire at Judgment Day

WWE Diva's Champion: Natalya; won title at Royal Rumble 2017 from Nicole Durgan. Next scheduled defense: Judgment Day against Lisa Benton

WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Mark Mason; won title at Bragging Rights 2016 from Alex Furious. Next scheduled defense: Judgment Day against Matrix

WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: AJ Styles and CM Punk; won titles from Bret Banderas and Brian York at Backlash 2017. Next scheduled defense: A rematch two weeks from now on Raw.

I seriously haven't played this game in six months?!?

MARCH 28, 2005 - MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Tonight, the last Feast or Famine battle royal will result in at least one RAW Superstar losing his job while another will battle Brock Lesnar for the Television Title later on. A huge tag team main event will feature three men with Backlash in their sights, and Stephanie McMahon will have an announcement about the state of the Women's Title.

But first, six of the more popular members of the RAW roster meet up in a tag match. In a twist, whoever takes the fall will be entered in the FoF battle royal and may lose his job or may earn a shot at Brock Lesnar's TV Title! New Jack teams with the New Age Outlaws to take on Erik Watts, Rick Steiner, and Sonny Siaki. Gunn plays the babyface in peril early until he manages to tag in New Jack, who goes to work on Siaki. In a smart move, the Outlaws, Steiner, and Siaki do most of the heavy lifting for the match, with Gunn finishing off Steiner with the Fame-Ass-Er. Rick Steiner now has to face nine other men to keep his job tonight. After the match, Watts is favoring his arm, and it looks to be a bicep injury.

Two of the more gimmicky members of the RAW roster are up next as Val Venis takes on Disco Inferno. Solid match between the two veterans that ends with Val hitting the Money Shot.

The ring is full as we come back from break as ten men enter the Feast or Famine battle royal. Remember, the winner will face Brock Lesnar later tonight for the Television Title. The first man eliiminated will lose his job, and anywhere from zero to eight more will join him in the unemployment line, thanks to a random draw from Eric Bischoff. The longer you last, the better your chance of survival! Unfortunately, we know Test is gone, as Sylvan Grenier takes him out early. Co-Tag Team Champion Ron Simmons is in danger as well as Grenier's former partner Rob Conway takes him out. Conway's current partner Nick Dinsmore takes out Tommy Dreamer, then Grenier gets a second elim by dumping Simon Diamond to the floor. In a surprise, Haas eliminates the man who turned him to the darkside, Undertaker, and the man in black is not happy. Grenier's run comes to an end at the hands of Dinsmore, while Haas continues to look good, taking out Conway. It's down to Dinsmore, Haas, and Steiner for a shot at Lesnar! Haas eliminates Steiner, then turns right into a big German suplex from Dinsmore that allows the Lord Of The Ring to win the battle royal and earn the title shot!

Al Snow appears on the TitanTron and tells us what we already know, that Test has been fired. He then goes on to say that Mister Bischoff drew the number four earlier tonight, which means that Ron Simmons, Tommy Dreamer, and Simon Diamond will be joining him. With Ron Simmons fired, what does that mean for the World Tag Team Titles?

Back from break, Stephanie McMahon is in the ring with the Women's Title. She announces that, due to the injury suffered by Trish Stratus, the title is now vacant and tonight, we will see the beginning of a seven-Diva tournament to crown a new champion. Former champion Mickie James has a first-round bye and will face the winner of our first match next week on RAW!

The first two Divas to compete are former champions Gail Kim and Molly Holly. They put on a fantastic display of what the WWE Women's Division is all about with Molly picking up a clean win with the Molly Go Round to advance.

The division's two best high-fliers are up next as Lita faces Trinity. At one point during the match, Trinity uncovers the top turnbuckle, which comes into play when she slingshots Lita face-first into it, then rolls her up with her feet on the ropes for the cheap win. Trinity hops the barrier and flees through the crowd to prevent Lita from getting her revenge.

Our final first-round tournament match pits two of the division's mainstays Victoria and Jazz against each other one more time. Solid match, but not quite on par with the Molly/Gail masterpiece from earlier. In the end, it's Victoria hitting the Widow's Peak for the big win.

Back from commercial, "Macho Man" Randy Savage is in the ring! He says that he personally banned Rob Van Dam and D'Lo Brown from the building tonight, since they can't seem to co-exist in the same arena. With that in mind, he's going to give them a chance to settle their differences at Backlash!

Earlier tonight, Nick Dinsmore won the Feast or Famine battle royal to earn this next match. Brock Lesnar, the first-ever WWE Television Champion is eager to prove why he's still the best in the business, and he puts on a show tonight. Dinsmore looks like a million bucks by keeping up for the first part of the match, but Lesnar puts him away with the F-5 for the clean win. After the match, Lesnar continues to pummel Dinsmore with hard punches before walking off with the title.

In our main event, the man who will challenge for the TV Title at Backlash, Taiyo Kea teams with WWE Champion The Rock to face Rock's Backlash opponent Sabu and co-Tag Team Champion (for how much longer?) John Layfield! Solid match between these four that ends with Lesnar making his presence felt again as he confronts Kea, allowing Sabu to take him out with an Arabian Facebuster. After the match, the three heels work over Rock and Kea as we fade to black.

Sabu got planted. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Taiyo Kea uses move #193 (arm-BAR). Sabu comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Sabu DDTs Kea, although it was hardly executed with pin-point precision. Brock Lesnar has climbed up onto the apron! Kea turns...and falls for the distraction! Sabu attacks Kea from behind! Sabu has Taiyo Kea down on the canvas and is ascending the corner. Arabian Facebuster!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over. Kea \ Rock are left down and out in the ring thanks to the attack of Layfield, Sabu and Lesnar. Worth a ** rating, but no more than that.
